Plus if you've ever been school, you've probably had at least one class where you don't have anyone in it. We'll probably breeze through classes in terms of RPing anyway, they'll be just mechanics to get people talking. Other than that, don't worry too much about it.

@@Ampharos, @, "Oh, on a college campus, you don't have a cafeteria. You have a number of restaurants, all of which operate and you can get your food from any one of them that you want! The off-campus thing probably refers to if you want to go grab food at one of the off-campus locations, which are naturally a lot further away, but tend to be of a higher quality." Light Eye was casually and gradually working her way closer and closer to the two stallions.

It would appear that Psych Ward is off for the night, and I cannot respond until she does. :\ So, I guess we'll have to wait 'til tomorrow. To continue. My apologies.

@@Psych Ward, @, @@Ampharos, "Well, it's nice to meet you all," Light Eye said. "You can call me Light if you so decide. I'm good for anything." Two more attractive stallions to hang out with. This was going quite splendidly. "What are you in the mood for? I'll eat anything." They grew closer to the building, despite the massive crowd inhibiting easy motion.

"Alright then, sounds lovely," Light eye got the group into one coherent mass, then began walking towards the building in the distance. "Just follow me, I know where we're going. What are your names? In fact, what's everyone's major and plan for the future? I'm Light Eye, here for glassworking, mirrors and windows for you plebians, and I plan to open a shop and become the greatest glassworker in Equestria."

@@Psych Ward, @, @@Ampharos, Light Eye was about to surge forth with Psych Ward beside her, but paused when she saw the door open with two ponies inside the room. "Oh, are you two headed out for lunch, too? We were about to go ourselves, but the more the merrier. It's absolute hell out there and the more of us, the easier it will be to keep track of us all."

@@Psych Ward, "Are you not good with crowds? You can stick close to me as we brave the maelstrom if you like," Light Eye looked at her in a concerned manner. "I'm sure it will be better tomorrow. Everyone's I'll out and about because of registration today." She pointed to a massive building in the distance. "C'mon, that's the food court. It's not too far."

@@Psych Ward, "Sure," Light Eye said, and she lead them out of the dorm and gave a quick look around. "Just looking around, there are so many ponies here. I figure it's because it's just the registration day, but jeez, I wasn't expecting hundreds and hundreds of ponies to be everywhere that you look." She gave a low whistle. "It's quite a sight." ((Just one of my pet peeves, and I figured I'd point it out.))

@@Psych Ward, "Think nothing of it," Light Eye lead the way. "What do you feel like having? We can probably find just about anything around campus if we look hard enough, but if you have a particular style of food in mind, it will make this easier. Also, because there's no way to keep track of how many meals you've had, it makes sense to keep track yourself." ((Friendly reminder that Equestria doesn't have high-tech equipment.))

@@Psych Ward, Light eye chuckled at this ponies relative inexperience. "I've been on my own for a couple of years before this. I would probably have just used groceries and bought food for myself, but I've never been the greatest cook and there's no kitchenette in the first-year dorms. Someday I'll probably go back to cooking, especially if I find a friend or two who are skilled chefs." She grabbed a card out her bag and strapped on a smaller purse bag, then put the card in the bag carefully. "If you haven't signed up for a meal plan, I can cover you. I've got lots of extra meals."

@@Psych Ward, "Oh, in college you don't have set mealtimes!" Light Eye chuckled. "In fact, this university is very strange to have set times for anything. Classes or lunch. There are a number of restaurants all over campus that you go and buy food from, then you can eat whenever you like." Light Eye's stomach gave a soft gurgle. "In fact, I might just be hungry myself. You did get a meal plan, didn't you? Or are you going to prepare all your food yourself?"

@@Psych Ward, "Literature, Music, and Botany or my second through fourth classes as well," Light Eye pointed out. "Then it's Science and Physical Education for me as well. It would appear that save for our first and last classes we have a completely similar schedule." All the better to lock you in... Light Eye was going to look forward to this year. A gorgeous roommate, a whole lot of learning, and the chance to finally be out in a new place on her own entirely! What more could you want?

@@Psych Ward, Light Eye absolutey beamed at this, quite overjoyed at the prospect as she finished setting up her things in the room. "Great! What's your first period? I signed up for mine ages ago..." she trotted over to her desk and picked up a piece of paper to double check. "Looks like my first is... Mythology and History of Equestria. You?"

@@Psych Ward, "Oh," Light Eye said, suddenly understanding what she meant. "That does make sense. I'm not a big fan of tea myself, but I do enjoy some good coffee from time to time. I suppose they'll probably have a good shop for it roundabouts, it being a college campus and all. Would you like to go with me sometime?"

@@Psych Ward, "Horror?" Light Eye folded up the dress once more carefully and stowed it away in a drawer. "I don't suppose you've read H.P. Hoovecraft? He's one of my favorites, though to be honest I can't really appreciate him as being scary. Very intriguing. I take my classics on an autumn afternoon, myself, with the leaves blowing and the colors in the sky..." She had learned from experience to explain herself with her stranger thoughts, and hoped to elicit an explanation from this pony. It was clear they were rather intelligent, they just had a bit of a hard time expressing her thoughts. Nothing that could be fixed fairly easily.

@@Psych Ward, "Really?" Light Eye was happy about this: something she could talk to her about. "What's your favorite book? I'm rather fond of 'Of Mice and Ponies' by John Stallionbeck." She pulled out it and looked and it briefly before placing it on her bookshelf next to some other favorites. One box empty, she folded it up and placed it carefully next to the door of the room. She cracked the next book and pulled out a carefully tailored dress and looked it over for a second.

@@Psych Ward, "I've never been to Phillydelphia," Light Eye offered. This pony was clearly not the most social type, but she would be damned if she would spend all year with a pony who she couldn't even speak to. "What are some of your hobbies? I'm quite a reader, myself, and I enjoy glasswork." She walked over to the window in their room and gave it a firm tap. "And this window is of a such a low quality I'm mildly horrified."

@@Psych Ward, "Where do you come from?" Light Eye saw the medication box but thought better than to mention it. She popped open one of her boxes and began arranging to sort them out on the desk, placing a few favorite on the bookshelf by her bed. "I'm from roundabout Manehattan. The more specific region would only bore you." She pulled out a compact lamp and placed it on the bedside table, constructed by herself with her own personal insignia: the four-paned window with the beam of light coming through it: her cutie mark. She then pulled out a basic set of sheets: a serene green set of bedsheets, and began preparing the unclaimed bed for herself, as well as pulling out a pillow and fluffing it up, arranging it in the best possible manner.

If I could make a suggestion: Naturally, this being a university, there are going to be more than just 16 ponies here. However, our dorms are number 1-8. Would it make sense that this is one dorm building that these ponies are the only ones in, a building for first years probably, and that we all live right next to each other in one of the halls of this dorm building?

@@Psych Ward, Having filled out her forms, Light Eye proceeded to her dorms, both saddlebags full and two boxes balanced on her back, using her Earth Pony magic to make sure that this wasn't going to end poorly. Carefully and cautiously she proceeded to Dorm 2, then opened the door with her hoof and entered, carefully setting down all of her packages and parcels. It was hard to deny that she moved with a grace through space the belied how short she was and made her seem confident and comfortable in her own skin. She stopped abruptly when she noticed the other pony in the room. "Hello," she said in a cool calm, voice, looking over the pony. "My name is Light Eye. I suppose we'll be flatmates for the duration of the year." She gestured to her things behind her. "I don't have too much stuff, so I won't take up too much space, though I do prefer to keep the room neat and tidy whenever possible." Light Eye had lucked out: her roommie was very good looking by her standards. "I'll try to be courteous. I hope we'll be best of friends." She gave a warm, sincere smile, turning her head slightly, closing her eyes and bringing up the corners of her mouth.

I'm going to suggest that you put a basic guide for the schedule making, as well as a link, on the first post.

Light Eye entered the building, saddlebags slung over her, hair and tail both expertly braided, carefully arranged and hanging over on her right side. She looked very cheery and chipper, and trotted eagerly over to the front help desk. She had been expecting this for months, and had filled out her forms about two months in advance. Flipping open a saddlebag to reveal an incredibly well-organized interior. Reaching in with her mouth, Light Eye produced a thick sheaf of papers and placed them upon the registration desk, then reached a hoof and and pulled out a hefty bag of bits, places them out. "My registration papers and fees," Light Eye says in a crisp, clear voice, enunciating every word carefully and give a cheery smile at the end, standing on the edge of her hooves in order to be seen, in spite of her short stature. "I received these forms about three months ago, so if anything has changed or I made any errors, please let me know and I'd be happy to adjust or redo them as necessary."

Aright, done so. Is it okay if that Art is specifically glasswork (windows and mirror making) to match with her cutie mark?
