  1. @, Light Eye raised her eyebrow. That pony... has some issues. Better keep an eye on him. And who better than me to do so? "Thank you so much for the drink. You're such a generous stallion. And you know that ponies who gives things always get them back in return." She laid it on thick this time, sounding lustful and seductive with each word.
  2. @, (I thought he was angry at Light specifically, because she embarrassed him in front of the mare.) "One lemonade please!" Light said cheerily. "It's my absolute favorite. You might have stupid outbursts every now and then, but you seem like an alright sort." On the surface anyway.
  3. @@Psych Ward, "Of course you can come, Psych! Can't leave my roomie behind. Hey Whirl, can I have that drink anyway?" She had heard all that talk about him spiking drinks or something, but she wasn't sure if it was true. Better to find out now and get suspicion thrown on Whirl then to have a sleeping snake hiding amongst their number. She could take a bit of embarrassment.
  4. @@Ampharos, "It occurs to me that the last place we want a pyromaniac to be is a place with a large number of flammable valuable. However, my desire to check out the library for myself trumps that niggling little voice in the back of my head, so I say that we go, shall we?" Light Eye reached into her purse and pulled out a map of the campus, then began searching it for the library. "Hm.... here we go. I've found it."
  5. @, @@Ampharos, @, "Yup. Mares like me," Light Eye said, leaping in to try and save Starry Night some embarrasment. "Both of you are quite the lookers, top-notch examples of stallionhood most definitely. Why, it's about all I can do not to cry out for you both to take me now. You're luck we're in a public place, otherwise things could be different."
  6. @, Light Eye flourished right up to Starry and got close to her. "Me, on the other hand? I'm very cute in the most unabashedly flirtatious manner I think your adorable little heart can take. And trust me: I'd be happy to prove that to be the case any time you ask."
  7. "Well, I've read before that there are two points in a pony's life that really matter: when they earn their cutie mark, and when they understand it. Our cutie marks aren't just pictures plastered onto our plot: they represent our skill. And while window making is certainly a great skill and I love to do it, it is not the whole and sum of what we are good at. Maybe you know your special talent, but do you know that means?"
  8. @,@, "Likewise, excellent to meet you!" Light Eye. "Though my overall intelligence might seem like it would belie a specific field, I am a master glassworker, and if you ever need a window or mirror made, I'm your mare. I can't wait to see if that's a viable field for the art faculty here."
  9. @, @@Ampharos, "Hello, I don't believe we've met!" Light said the other mare. "My name is Light Eye. What's your name? What are you here to learn? I like your glasses." Light Eye was full of energy, and trotted along merrily, happy to make new friends and to be doing something fun.
  10. @@Ampharos, "I think I'll join you!" Light Eye stood up and followed Blaze. "You seem very... hot." Rather than as a compliment, it was phrased as a pun, but it was what it was. "C'mon flame boy. Let's start with the infirmary so that we can see where you are definitely going to end up several times this year for the purpose of burn treatments."
  11. @@kappa214, "Very true... I'd better go check in with Twilight about staying at the library for a brief span of time." He exited the TARDIS and entered into the bright word of Ponyville. "Ah, back where we started. I wonder how this town operates... it will be interesting, to say the least."
  12. @@kappa214, ((It just seems like the character has an undue influence on canon events whilst simultaneously flying high and dry outside of canon. Just my opinion.)) "Thank you," Frayed said. "I suppose we'll be getting back there now, then? It was quite fun while it lasted, I must say. I've never tripped through all of time and space before."
  13. @@thor9356, "It's quite the fascinating experience yes, which is why people have made the Crystal Empire the booming tourist industry of today. But the Crystal ponies are scared. Most of them refuse to leave the area protected by the Crystal Heart, we've had no luck reforming the Knights for the purposes of defending anyplace else, and the odds of us regaining any territory at all is low. Frayed was deeply concerned by this knowledge: you could see it on his face. "We rivaled Equestria for size at one point. Seven kingdoms gave up their autonomy willingly to be our territories, including the Griffon Kingdom! Now we're just a tourist trap in the northern wastes."
  14. @@Ampharos, @, "Think nothing of it," Light Eye said. "No harm, no foul. Though I would appreciate a lemonade: I must admit to being absolute raptured with the taste of lemonade, and I would about kill for the purpose of getting myself more when I really want some." She avoided everyone's gaze while saying this.
  15. @@kappa214, ((It... strikes me as a little Mary Sue-ish, don't you think?)) Frayed smiled. "Sure, he said. "I could use a place to stay for the night. I suppose I should probably find some more permanent lodgings for my stay in Ponyville, though. This is more about learning character, customs, and how the land has really changed over the last 1,000 years rather than just intellectual facts and political events."
  16. @@kappa214, "Alright, I suppose a visit to Ponyville isn't such a bad idea after all," Frayed was a bit dejected, but he figured he could still continue his studies. ((So Hank is a time lord alicorn-who-had-his-wing-and-horn-off, broth of Twilight Sparkle and Shining Armor who is also married to Princess Celestia!?))
  17. @@Ampharos, @, "I'm quite frankly very smart. I'd read books, I study nature, pretty any method of understand reality I've broached at one point or another, from science to tarot to magic and all the stops in between. What's left for me is to continue to learn as well as to make a mark using my special talent is. I'd tell you waht that is, but that would mean Flame boy here has one less chance to stare at my plot." She gave a wink.
  18. It's a good way to introduce conflict, a good way to encourage character growth, and it sounds like a heck of a lot of fun. I'm for it.
  19. @@Ampharos, @, "Light Eye," the similarly named pony replied. "Nice to meet you. It's quite nice having this entire day just to get to know each other and find our way around campus. I plan to head to he library eventually. What are your plans? You have to do something to fill up your first day."
  20. @@Ampharos, "Well, alright, but I'm certainly going to point out that keeping highly flammable object on your person at all times is not helpful to you overcoming a tendency to be obsessed with lighting objects on fire," Light Eye joke. "After all, you don't see me carrying out something that could spark a cutie-mark-based obsession, do you?
  21. @@Ampharos, "Well, as long as it's not actively hurting, you, I suppose there's no harm in you having it. It certainly matches your obsession quite well. Am I correct in assuming, then, that your special talent is either pyrotechnics or somehow otherwise based in the field of fire?
  22. @@Ampharos, Light studied it for a second. In a completely level voice she said: "Have you seen a nurse about that? It could be some point of infection or something. Anyway, you should probably talk to them about your pyromania urges, anyway. It could cause some pretty significant problems if you aren't careful."
  23. @@Ampharos, "Maybe. But I don't know if a delinquent such as your self can be restrained by sure willpower alone," Light Eye took a step closer to him. "I might have to keep a close eye on you." Another step. "A very close eye, indeed." She gave a grin somewhere between lustful and manic.
  24. @@Ampharos, Light Eye looked at him. "Why where you trying to refrace light using a water bottle? I can thin of at least four other easily accessible objects that would have burned it better. Not that you should have, that was stupid and unsafe, thoughtless, could have hurt people, but if you're going to do bad, do bad right."
  25. @@Ampharos, "Oh, Inks? I'm gonna miss him... I guess. He was only here for a little bit, but he seemed like a pretty nice pony. Anyway, you got kicked out of your previous school? What kind of radical misbehavior did you indulge in for the hierarchy to finally have enough of your sorry flank?" Light Eye was very light with these comments: they held almost no meaning at all.
