Blaze was astonished to hear some one (other than his aunt who raised him for most of his life) speak to him in a calm and collected manor. "Yes" Blaze said "Let us begin" Blaze joined Carrick on his walk up to the tree, that once was the private domicile of Twilight sparkle.

" I have met a lot of nobles, my first special some pony was a noble. She found out about my dad and ended it. Say what you want about my father but he knew a lot of powerful flame magic, and taught most of it to me." Blaze replied.

" Very interesting" Blaze said reflectively "My dad died when I was young. He was a bad pony, very infamous in fact I would bet you heard of him. I grew up with my aunt from my moms side, she is pretty close to the nobles and always wanted me to marry into a noble family."

"Ah, so do I, growing up in Canterlot means you have to be highly educated. And it also means you have to enjoy menial tasks such as tea parties, and *shudders* ballroom dancing" Blaze said with a look of horror on his face.

"Hay Ivy is it? What are you reading there" Blaze said . It was currently about one in the morning and waiting for dawn to arrive made Blaze extremely impatient.

After checking out his dorm room, Blaze decided to go outside and get some fresh air to clear his head, maybe go flying. He was approaching the exit/entrance when he saw Dusty Dewdrop and heard her introduce herself. When he looked at her, he could tell her life has probably been a rough one. For one, she wasn't as tall as the average hight for an adult alicorn, and for two her main and tail were crazily unkempt. He decided to introduce himself, "Hey Dusty, my name is Blaze... Blaze.." He decided not to give his last name. His father was a famous pirate and many died under his hoof. His dad was infamous and so was his last name so he decided to only give his first name.

Blaze arrived at his room in the dormitory, it was a small but quaint room, he dropped his saddle bag off on his bed and took out his schedule. He was not sure about his major, his dad always told him how gifted he was with magic, and flying. How he looked like a phoenix when in flight. "Majoring in magic... I just don't know, I am so confused." Blaze said.

"Hmm... ok seems simple enough. Let us wait till morning to tell all the ponies who gather here what to do. I have a plan and I need every pony who is in the rebellions cooperation." Blaze said.

"Just for any other pony that wants to join the Rebellion" He entered the tree library " I suppose this is it, for now, I told the towns ponies to join us here in the morning." Blaze said as he closed the door and sealed up the wards.

Blaze headed to the tree library, with a heat spell he changed the air currents to make a mirage around the tree house. Blaze also put a ward spell on the surrounding premises if any royal guards decided to poke around. "Every pony inside! Now." Blaze stood outside ushering in every pony that was willing to join the rebellion.

" EVERY PONY LISTEN UP" Blaze said. He wasn't aware of it, but he was using the royal canterlot voice, "TWILIGHT IS RIGHT, ANY PONY THAT WANTS TO JOIN THE REBELLION MEET UP AT THE BASE OF OPERATIONS IN THE MORNING" The crowd was literally stunned because the royal canterlot voice is rare, and very scary.

"Remember what I said every pony don't worry about me. I will be with my friends soon" Twilight said, The onlooking crows was enraged but said nothing. Blaze shot up with his wings and flew at Cloud, Blaze's hoof was on fire, Blaze punched at Cloud. " I won't let you take her"

" Yes, ponies. We need every last bit of help we can get. When I am captured which I am sure I will be, you have permission to use my Tree Library as a base of operations." Twilight said.

It is a very dark night, the nights have seemed only to get darker, maybe because the one who regulated night is no longer living. It has been a year since Ven came into power and ponyville has taken the brunt of it all. Ponyville has become little more than a dilapidated hoover town. Shops have fallen into disrepair, and houses have crumbled so that their support beams are showing. The Darkhart Royal Guard has an outpost based on the outskirts of ponyville but most of the Guards are unconscious from a night of hard partying. On a trial that leads straight to Ponyville, is Twilight Sparkle. Looking more battered and bruised than ever, she has a dead stair. All of her conviction is focused into one thought, and Twilight knew she had to tell all of Ponyville. But how? Twilight made it to the town square and walked up to the mayoral podium. The square was as empty and barren as ever, not even mice dare scurry around this late an hour. Twilight closes her eyes, and her horn begins to glow, the glow becomes brighter and brighter until the entire square is illuminated. Using her magic Twilight manages to telecomunicate with all of ponyville, "Everypony, I have urgent news, please get up and meet me at the town square. It is of utmost importance that you meet me here as soon as possible" One by one, the citizens of ponyville unlock their doors and shuffle out into the town square, even the once Mayor Mare is in the audience. It only takes about 15 minuets before the town square is completely full. Twilight begins to speak "As most of you may know, us bearers of the elements of harmony decided to storm Darkhart castle." Twilights eyes grew darker " We had a plan, Rainbow dash, Applejack and Pinkie Pie would storm the gates head first to cause a distraction" Twilight looked down at her hooves " Me, Rarity and Fluttershy were supposed to infiltrate the castle unnoticed. I used my magic to teleport us inside its walls." She looked at the astonished audience. "The plan did not go as we hoped, while Rainbow Dash's team did manage to distract the main Royal Guard force, they managed to get captured in the process." "Me and the entirety of my team managed to infiltrate the walls of the castle. But the room that we teleported into..." Twilight's expression was now of vehement rage "CELESTIA AND LUNA ARE STILL ALIVE!" gasps from the audience filled the town square, whispers were being exchanged. "When we entered the castle, the room we teleported into was the room that held Celestia and Luna. They were strapped to a machine, a very technologically advanced machine. From what I could ascertain from studying the machine, it was draining their power. The machines made it impossible for Celestia and Luna to escape because the magic barrier they were in negates all magic from being used, and it syphons all the magic from the ones inside it."Twilight took a deep breath and continued "I do not know for sure what Ven is using their magic for, but the amount of magic he has collected from them in the past year is enough to destroy an entire continent" Every pony starts to panic, and it is clear that a riot was about to be incited " CALM DOWN EVERYPONY!" Instantly the crowd grew quiet "When we were in the syphon room, we managed to trip an alarm system. Guards had surrounded us before we could even sneeze. We tried to fight them, as you can see I am pretty beat up, but it was no use. They captured Fluttershy and Rarity, and they would have captured me if I had not used my magic to teleport and escape. " I feel horrible for leaving my best friends back there. But I had to come here and tell you what I saw. And now you ponies have a choice, rise up and defeat Ven and rescue our princesses, or sit on your flanks and watch as our precious equestria is razed to rubble." Some of the audience instantly went back home "Oh come on everypony, are you really going to do nothing. I don't have much time left, the Dark Royal Guard should be here any minute. Decide right now, what you want the future of Equestria to be" There was a long silence in the audience, but some pony spoke up. It was a bright red alicorn with fiery orange hair. (All alicorns that once lived in Canterlot were banished when it turned to Darkhart Capitol) " I Blaze Pheonixtear, will join your rebellion Twilight" Twilight began to smile "Good now who else? A war can not be won with one pony."... Meanwhile at the Dark Royal Guard outpost in Ponyville Winds and Cloud Dreamer were awake doing paperwork, while the Royal Guards lay unconscious from their late night of partying. When suddenly a letter dropped on their desk via magic mail. They read it and it stated To all Royal Guards in the Ponyville outpost, We have it on good authority that a one Twilight Sparkle is in Ponyville at this very instant. Any guard who captures her and brings her to me Ven Darkhart, will be promoted to a member of Darkhart Clan and serve as my personal protection. Your pay raise will be exponential and your magic training will be top notch. At all costs capture Twilight Sparkle alive. Your Evil and oh so handsome Emperor, Lord Ven Darkhart.

Blaze was flying through the air, It was early in the morning, so early in fact that most ponies were still in bed. Bed Blaze thought Ha. Blaze scoffed at the idea of bed. It had been nearly a whole week since he volunteered to help find the bearers of the elements of Harmony, and had not gotten on shred of sleep. Nor did he try to. Blaze had been searching non stop and had not found even an iota of evidence to suggest where the Element Bearers were. He was tasked with this mission from princess Celestia herself, and the fact that she asked him for anything was a miracle in itself. Blaze had always been a black-sheep when it came to the Royal Canterlot subject. His father was a infamous pirate who had died when he was fairly young, so he grew up with his aunt (his mom's sister) in Canterlot. Even though his father passed away when he was younger, his father had left him with some fairly powerful flame magic. Blaze could still remember all those long mornings when he was younger. His father would wake him up, and they would go down to there secret spot by a creak, and they would practice fire magic. They practiced and practiced until Blaze would nearly pass out from exhaustion. Things changed after his father died, Blaze became more entangled with the Royal side of Canterlot. He still remembers all the disapproving glances from the nobles, and the occasional mumbles under their breath that would say things like "delinquent" and " his father was a murderer, he might be one too". So Blaze still couldn't wrap his head around the fact that Celestia asked him personally to help look for the missing six ponies who wield the elements of harmony. Blaze had been flying from town to town, he started in Canterlot, and was making his way to Ponyville. He was flying above the outskirts of ponyville, when he saw some early morning farmers from down below, staring at him as he flew above ponyville. Blaze remembered his father tell him that he always looked like a Pheonix when he flew. Because whenever he picked up speed he left a trail of flame behind him. Even the Canterlot Nobles had to respect the fact that he was one of the most beautiful Alicorns when flying. Blaze was now almost above twilight sparkles residence, Celestia had told him he could meet someone here who could help with the investigation. As Blaze descended he say a brown earth pony who fit the description Celestia gave him. He landed on the path right right next to the brown earth pony. "I was told a brown earth pony such as yourself would be helping with the investigation, I am the Alicorn sent from Canterlot to help with the investigation. My name is Blaze."

I drew this OC for a role-play I am just starting. I rushed through it, really really fast. So I am not expecting a whole bunch of positive feedback. Haha, yeah I guess it is. I wish I wasn't so damn impatient, but that is not the way I am built. Thanks I know the horn is off. I will change it eventually. I haven't had any formal training when it comes to photoshop so I don't know all the tips and tricks when it comes to making a piece of art look more... I don't know, computer generated. So most of my art ends up looking like I drew it with a pen and paper. I am a bit proud of this piece though.

I was playing diablo III and got the nightmarish staff of herding. I went to whimsy shire and there I encountered a pony with the name of Nightmarity, she had a snip it under her name that said "generosity in death". And I thought "Oh, blizzard, you have the best easter eggs." SO I got to thinking, maybe someone should actually draw a nightmarity fan art with what she would look like on the show. Since her name is based off of rarity, maybe she looks kind of like her. So I decided to take the initiative and draw the pony myself. Without further ado here is what my imagination thought up when I visualized a mlp version of nightmarity (generosity in death). And as you can see, I did not add much detail to the background. I get impatient when using photoshop I would greatly enjoy any feedback you can give.
