As Misha told his story Zeke noticed that he had pretty much avoided telling very much from when he was younger, which led Zeke to think that Misha had some sort of tragic childhood. That was probably the reason for why he was such a psychopath. Eventually curiosity got the better of him and Zeke asked the question straight up. "Misha, why are you crazy? I am not trying to throw insults at you or anything, but you seem to lack any form of empathy." Zeke said.
-
Zeke listened patiently to Misha's story. Well, it sounds like he had a shitty childhood. Makes sense that he turned out to be a sadist. Zeke thought. "Well, I suppose I will go next. My name is Ezekiel Davis Redsteele, everyone calls me Zeke, though, truth be told... the last name that I go by isn't last name I was given at birth. I had a fairly normal childhood. I grew up in a nice suburban neighborhood. I had two parents, a sister, a dog. Though my life was changed drastically after I saved my sister from getting hit by a car, by jumping in front of it, and stopping it with my bare hands. After that, my parents thought I was an esper, so they sent me to an esper academy where the teachers were scientists. They studied me for months, they found out many things, like the birthmark on my right shoulder is the source of my power. They even gave a name to my ability, they called it Limit Evolution. But ultimately, they came to the conclusion that I wasn't an esper, and they kicked me out of the academy. After that, I returned home to my parents. I eventually found out about the existence of magicians, and had come to find out that the city I lived in was under the rule of a magician saint and her gang. So I found out where the gang was hiding, and I went to the hideout to try to talk to the magician saint. Of course, they didn't want to talk, and ultimately I got the shit kicked out of me. But, the magician saint was curious about my powers and decided to study my birthmark. After she looked at it, she said that it wasn't of magical origins either. When I turned eighteen I got my birthmark tattooed in, so it shown more prominently." Zeke explained most of his story and realized that he was getting to the part of his story that took a tragic turn. "And about two years ago... I came home from my part time job... and-" Zeke stopped himself. It had only been two years ago that his family was destroyed by the level five esper all because he was too weak to stop him. Zeke wasn't ready to reopen those old wounds. "Well, never mind. Maybe someday I will tell you guys why I am trying to get God's Hand. But for now, that will have to be good enough." Zeke said, as he desperately tried to hide his anguish behind the facade of a jubilant expression on his face.

"Yes and no. My powers aren't really over light. It's going to sound pretty crazy... but I don't know what my powers are." Zeke said with a smile. "I am not an esper. I don't even have a personal reality or the wherewithal to do the calculations needed for bending light. In fact... I am not even the one who manipulates the light. It just kind of happens, like an instinct. Sometimes it doesn't even work. I do know that every time I can use my powers my tattoo birthmark lights up. But luminomancy isn't the only thing that I can do. I also have enhanced reflexes, senses, and strength sometimes too." Zeke replied
-
I don't have much money, and my powers won't help in that department Zeke thought "Without directly robbing a bank at laser point, my powers wont help us get money. Not unless I put on a killer light show on the side of the street with a hat at my feet" Zeke chuckled at the thought. "Oh well" Zeke shrugged, "As long as we are a team, I suppose I will be freeloading off of you." Zeke let out a giant chuckle Zeke looked at Misha "Maybe I had you pegged wrong. Here i thought you were a egocentric narcissistic psychopath with a God complex. Looks like, you have a soft side too." Zeke said patting Misha on the shoulder.
-
Oh great, just what I needed. Zeke thought to himself, All I wanted was to find a headquarters for our team so that we could possibly rest while planning what we do next. And all we got is a stupid key, a psycho scientist, and a high level wind esper who is afraid of the person she led us to in the first place. Zeke closed his eyes and sighed, rubbing the back of his head with his left hand. "Welp, I guess I should go after her," Zeke said to the remaining group before jogging up the steps to follow Hikari. Zeke exited the trap door and saw Hikari a bit ahead of him. "Hey." Zeke said as he approached her. "So... I mean... I realize that the scientist guy down there is a bit of a loony case, but do we really have the luxury of choosing where we make our headquarters at? I mean, if we do that is fine and all, but..." Zeke realized he was trailing off, "All I want is to take a shower and go to sleep. That energy drink I had earlier is wearing off and I am starting to not feel good. So if we aren't making this our headquarters, I suggest we all go to a nice hotel or something"
-
Zeke wanted to stop off at a motel because of how tired he was, but instead he stopped off at a gas station and bought a few energy drinks. Wow, science has come a long way, I remember when energy drinks made me feel awkward, and fidgety. Now I just feel as if I have had a great night's sleep. Zeke continued on the highway for three hours until he reached Novarius. The city reminded him of a more organize, more modernized version of Vertlyn. Instead of there being little to no police activity (as with Vertlyn because it was run by an organized crime syndicate), this City was full of security. There were cameras on almost every block. Police cars were easily spotted, every now and then, patrolling the streets. It was a lot like Vertlyn used to be five years ago before the Crux gang took over. Zeke followed the address from his GPS on his phone, which led him to the downtown area, much like the area that the Crux gang had taken for their headquarters in Vertlyn. Zeke followed the streets, careful to obey the traffic laws so as not to be pulled over by the police. Eventually he reached the area and came to a stop. Zeke noticed a few cars were parked at this warehouse, both the cars were very extravagant which could only mean that Misha and Hikari were already here. Zeke pulled up next the cars and put his car in park before turning off the engine and retrieving the keys. Zeke exited the car and popped the trunk pulling out his dufflebag that was full of all the things he had brought with him from his home. Assuming this was the safe house, Zeke thought that he could probably change his clothes (as he was still wearing the mountain gear) and maybe even get a shower here. He also retrieved the alcohol he purchased at Vern's gas station, and placed it in his duffle. Zeke walked to the entrance of the warehouse and attempted to go inside, only to find it locked. Zeke knocked on the door a few times, but no one came to open it. Great, now what? Zeke thought. As he finished his thought his birthmark activated. Using the light from the floodlight that illuminated the front door, Zeke extended his finger using the light as a plasma torch. He cut through the lock on that the card reader connected to the door. Boy... I hope that wasn't expensive Zeke thought. He then pushed his way through the door. It was a bit dark but Zeke held out is hand and sustained a sphere of light that illuminated the surrounding area. The warehouse was full of boxes and shipping containers. At first Zeke had no inclination on where he should go. this is the correct address right? Zeke thought. Of course it was the correct address, as the cars parked outside had to be his team member's cars. But then he saw a weak light coming from a trap door next to a container that appeared to have been moved recently. He opened the trap door to find a metal stairway illuminated by some florescent lighting and followed it down where he spotted Misha and Hikari. "Hey guys, so this is the place, eh? Pretty high tech. Oh... I had to melt down the lock on the outside of the building... I hope no one gets angry." Zeke said.
-
It took Zeke about 15 minutes, but after he departed from the group, he traversed the mountainous terrain and reached the gravel road where he parked his car. He popped his trunk and tossed his pack in the back, only keeping the jug of water. He then entered the driver side of the car and placed the jug of water in his passenger seat. Right as he sat down he received a message on his phone (that was practically dead from the overuse of the led light.) The message was from Hikari that stated that the safe house is located in Novarius. It was only after he received the text message that he realized that he was still in possession of the key. Wow, so this team trusts me so much that they would leave the key that we all just bloodied our hands over for with me? Zeke thought. I could just leave right now and try to do the rest of this on my own... But i got to remember what Vern said, it is dangerous to take up this quest in solitude. And the last thing I want is to have all those mages and espers I just met after me. Zeke smiled. Even though we are a motley bunch, we certainly do make a good team. I just question the methods of some of them, mostly Misha. I get the feeling that that man would massacre an orphanage of cancer patients and laugh maniacally while doing it if he was paid enough. Zeke shuddered. Well, I better start heading out to Novarius, and from what I understand, it is a few hours away from here. Zeke thought Zeke put the key in the ignition of his Ford Taurus and turned it forward, igniting the engine. He then pressed down on the breaks and pulled down on the shifting lever putting it into reverse, backed around, then put into drive, and drove for the highway. The sun was beginning to set, and the clock read 7:00 pm. Oh boy, I am tired after spending all the energy, sure I got some sleep in the cave, but I don't know if I am going to be able to make it all the way to Novarius, I might have to stop and rest.
-
Zeke listened to Misha and thought about it. "For once you are right, Misha. My Ford Taurus is literally the only possession that I inherited from my late family. I can't just leave it behind. If you guys could just explain what city you are going to, I will find my way there soon." Zeke said.
-
"Well, as I said before, we should probably find a place to make as a headquarters for our group if we are still all in this together. Though I should tell you all now, that I was told never to show my face in Vertlyn again, so that city is out of the question for a base of operations-" Zeke paused. "We are still in this together, right guys?" Zeke asked.
-
Zeke held up the key that he had in his left hand, his birthmark going back to inactive. "Yes, I still have it. But what good is a key if we don't have a lock? And also, since we are a team now, we are going to have to come together and venture to whatever this may open as a unit. So now is as good a time as any to decide where we are going to set up our team base. We are going to need to find a place we can all stay, and looking at Sayaa, I say we find that place as fast as possible so we can tend to her. I am just going to go ahead and assume that taking her to a hospital isn't going to do any good. So... I don't know." Zeke scratched his head as he stood there with the group, hoping someone would help him come up with some ideas.
-
Zeke leaped away as the massive suit began swinging in random directions. He then noticed that Lily was up to something, and Zeke had quickly learned that when Lily had a plan, it usually involved explosions of some sort. Zeke backed away quickly so that Lily's plan didn't end up causing collateral damage. Zeke then absorbed the remaining light from his lance, allowing the lance to return into his birthmark.
-
Zeke, still clutching the key in his left hand, used the remaining energy he had from the light he absorbed from Sayaa's spell to make another light lance in his right hand. This time he wielded it in his hand like a sword and leaped at the warrior who was now blasting fire at his comrades. Zeke slashed vertically downwards as he landed, in an attempt to slice the armor in half; as futile as it might be, he thought he would try anyway.
-
Zeke outstretched his right hand and the tendrils of light were eagerly absorbed into his birthmark symbol. Zeke saw the guardian hurl a magic sword at Sayaa, He quickly compounded the light Sayaa gave him into a compressed semi-tangible lance of bright plasma, which formed in his right hand. Zeke didn't need time to take aim, his reflexes did it all for him. He tossed the light lance with his super strength sending the lance flying with the force and speed of 700 pounds behind it. The lance hit the sword dead on, causing it's trajectory to change, vastly. It sent the sword flying into the wall 20 feet to the side of Sayaa. "Are you alright?" Zeke asked, not even glancing at Sayaa, but keeping his focus on the Guardian.
-
Zeke was floating through a yellow ethereal plane for what seemed like days before he came upon a massive pure white bird. The bird in question was about 10 feet tall, curled up in a ball sound asleep. Zeke kept floating until he got into reaching distance of the massive avian. Curious, Zeke touch the bird. The instant he touched it, Zeke's birthmark activated, both in his dream and in real life as he slept. The bird woke up, as it slowly opened it's eyelids. "Ah, yes. Zeke, I have been waiting for you." The voice didn't sound like it was coming from the bird, in fact, it felt like it was coming from all around him at once. A cacophony of sound, almost like the swells of waves from the ocean, colliding with a rocky shore. But for what ever reason, Zeke knew the voice was coming from the bird. "Who are you." Zeke asked the massive bird. "You know who I am, Zeke. You would not be here right now if you didn't. I need not explain my being to you." The bird replied Zeke thought about it, and he felt deep inside of him that he knew exactly who this was. "You're.Limit Evolution. My birthmark." Zeke said "Aye, the sky is also blue and humans breath oxygen. Are we playing a game where we state obvious facts?" The bird replied, as he yawned and stretched out his wings, the span of which were a massive 40 feet. "No... I was just making sure I had my facts straight" Zeke said as he floated backwards a bit to take all of the massive bird in his sight. "Everyone has been calling you Limit Evolution, but I take it that that isn't your actual name." Zeke said "You are correct, Zeke. My name was lost long ago. As soon as I was bound to your soul, my name became Zeke Redsteele. My name is-" The bird stopped mid sentence and switched the subject quickly. "We will have to have this meeting some other time, we are about to be awoken from our rather pleasant slumber. Also, I am authorizing level 3 limit evolution. Try not to die." The bird said. Zeke was about to beseech the bird for it's name, but before he could interject he was instantly woken up by a large metal key that hit him in the forehead and landed in his hands. His birthmark was glowing as intensely as it did in the fight with the hunters. So this is what he called level 3, huh? Zeke thought as he tried to shake the grogginess from his head. Zeke stood up and looked around the room at all of his comrades who were all either looking at him or in the opposite direction of him. Zeke followed their gaze to some sort of golem, or giant. The beast was at least twice his size, and was greatly armored and armed. Zeke looked down at the key in his hand, and back to the giant, and back down to the key and back to the giant. "I uh... don't suppose he just wants to talk, does he?" Zeke asked rhetorically.
-
The goal of sitting on the ground next to the cave wall was simply to take a small brake, but Zeke's body had other ideas. Instead of simply resting, Zeke soon found himself completely asleep, passed out. Zeke wasn't aware that he had used up that much energy, but the new early warning detection ability he just recently developed in these caves to make sure he didn't get blown to smithereens, absorbed way too much energy. Zeke's head cast downward as he slipped off to dreamland, completely missing the demon summoning and pact making. During the brief stint of sleep he slipped into a dream. Zeke was floating in a bright yellow abyss, there was nothing other than bright yellow all around him. He continued to float around in the abyss, waiting for something to happen.
-
"Well, you got me. Since my birthmark isn't glowing I can't use my powers. So I can't absorb the light that thing gives off. Not that that would have worked any how. Or use my speed to jump in and jump out. Might as well try your wind." Zeke said, thinking out loud. Zeke was very exhausted and decided to take a seat on the ground near the cave wall, using the wall as lumbar support. Zeke took out his jug of water out of his pack and drank a bit of it. Zeke sighed once more. I could really use a cigarette right now. But I gave that bad habit up the day my family was destroyed. I vowed to keep myself in the best possible physical condition, and never fall into depression. My sister didn't like to see me cry, that's what she told me before she died. And while I cry from time to time, I think what she meant was that she didn't want me to fall into deep despair, especially over their death. As long as I have hope that I can see them again, I will push on. Zeke took a deep breath of oxygen before chugging a bit more of the water. He then capped the jug and placed it back into his pack as he waited for the group to come to some sort of consensus.
-
"You guys all got it wrong. The way her power worked is kinda a mystery, but I did learn that light could touch her. If that is the case, then she sees everything like we see it when she uses her power. She would be floating through tons of limestone before she would find what she was looking for. I am assuming that she didn't want to waste any time floating around through the solid limestone trying to find a nook." Zeke said. "But then again. Thinking back, they had an arsenal. Which means they expected to fight all along. Her power might consume too much of her energy and she just wanted to save it in case people like us showed up. Imagine if she had been using it before hand and was exhausted. They all would have been dead a long time ago." Zeke sighed, as the recent events had stressed him out a bit. He was feeling a bit exhaust from using his powers, and he noticed that his birthmark was no longer glowing. Zeke followed the group as Misha opened the door, and he stood back, wondering what was inside.
-
Zeke ran for the opening, jumping through just before the bearing engulfed the entire room. The ball bearing shrank back to its normal size only ten seconds after crushing the one whose energy was being used to expand it. Zeke cast his gaze back through the opening momentarily, buts that moment was all that was needed for Zeke's eyes to behold the single most gruesome scene since his sister being murdered right before his eyes. Through the opening he saw the crater created by the ball bearing. In the middle of the crater was a red, fleshy, flat, unidentifiable mass; complimented by a pool of blood. Zeke quickly returned his gaze back to the group, his expression fixed in concern. " Well, I don't know about you guys, but I am going to be searching for the clue far away from this room." Zeke said in a nauseous tone.

The wind blades sliced through Monty's skin and flesh but didn't sever any limbs, and though it would have normally been difficult for any esper under these circumstances to concentrate and utilize their personal realities, he managed to concentrate with no problems. The metal ball bearing in the palm of Monty's hand began to levitate, hovering only a few inches above his palm as he concentrated his energy into it. Zeke looked over at Lily who was prepared to drop an explosive over the girls. Perhaps it would be a service to them, Zeke could feel that the blonde girl had just lost someone very important to her. And what if they came back for revenge later? All of this ran through Zeke's head. "Why me? Why should it be up to me to decide?" Zeke said out loud with a perplexed undertone. He then shook his head and said. "If you are leaving it up to me... then I say you let them go. we have won this already. So I don't believe we need to obliterate them." Zeke then turned his gaze back to the ex-military man. The bearing that he pulled out of his pocket was now hovering above the palm of his hand. The cave was a bit dark, but Zeke squinted to adjust his eyes. His power, sensing what he was doing, adjusted his sight for night vision. He noticed the ball wasn't just hovering above his hand, but also spinning. And... was it pulsating as well? Just then he felt the warning ping that his birthmark had given him earlier when the grenade almost blew him up. Like every cell in his body was telling him to run. "Guys we need to get out of here. NOW!" Zeke yelled. Just as the words left his mouth the bearing increased in size to over one thousand times the size it was before, now taking up the vast majority of the room they were in, but not quite as big as the room. It was still pulsating a bit. About to increase in size once more to squish them all. Even though they were all close to the entrance to the room they were in, the entrance was sealed off by a block of limestone from that rune. "I hope someone has a plan" Zeke said, panicked.

October saw what happened to Nay and reacted quickly. Instead of conceding to the girl who planted the bomb on Nay, October ramped up her ability. She changed her movement speed within the plane of existence she was in so that in the real world she was going mach 10. Her body was still in the different plane of existence so she wasn't effected by the oxygen of earth which meant that even though she was going mach 10 she was not breaking the sound barrier to make a sonic boom. In an instant she was at Nay and she picked Nay up making everything but her body intangible. Not only did the bomb remain tangible and stay on the ground where she was, but also her clothes remained tangible too. October wasn't taking any chances, October's equation for making Nay intangible only involved Nay herself, everything else that was foreign was left behind.. October hovered there with her naked sister in her arms planning on what to do next. Nay felt her body being toyed with, at first she felt something being placed on her, but then she felt someone pick her up. Nay opened her eyes and saw her sister's face as they hovered there in the ethereal plain. Nay's head pounded as she remembered she had taken the brunt of an explosion. Where is Jon? Nay wondered with delight as she looked down to survey the battlefield. She saw a lot of things that didn't make sense, like a girl controlling wind, and an ice spirit, and a man with light flowing into him. She then cast her gaze at the direction of Jon just in time to see her worst nightmare come to fruition. Jon didn't quite understand what happened. One moment he was rushing to his brother's side, and the next he was wet, completely drenched actually. He tried to laugh but his voice wasn't working. Why wasn't it working? Jon thought. The man in gold must have sprayed me with warm water. I am completely soaked. but that doesn't make sense as to why I can't talk. Jon started to feel faint as he collapsed to his knees and dropped his sword. He wiped his hands on his chest that was completely soaked and looked at his now wet hands. His eyes met his hands with a gaze of confusion. What he was staring at didn't make sense. The scarlet, sticky substance that met his gaze could only be one thing, blood. But who's? Jon then touched his neck, and felt the river of blood that cascaded down his lacerated throat. No, this doesn't make sense. I can't be in this position. Nay and I were supposed to get married. We were supposed to find God's Hand and make it to where everybody was happy and free to love whoever they wanted. Nay. Jon cast his dying gaze over to Nay who was being held by October. He saw her tears streaming down her face. He could tell she was screaming but he couldn't hear it. he couldn't hear anything. Everything was fading away, his strength, his vision, his hearing, his coherent thought. All he could think was, At least Nay is safe, before breathing his last breath and falling face-down dead. Nay struggled from October's grip and she fell to the ground. Nay clutched her chest her gaze cast downward. Her long blonde hair obscuring her, no doubt, jilted expression. She felt as if someone and reached into her chest and ripped out her most important organ. And then after they took her organ, the decided to throw her off a never ending cliff. She felt as though she was falling forever, into a pit of darkness. "JON! MY LOVE! NO!" She yelled through her uncontrollable sobbing Nay's screams of pain and anguish filled the cave. The screams and sobs were of such intensity that without any context, it would have appeared as though it was Nay who took the boot blade to the neck. It was so bad that it was almost making Zeke lose his concentration as he began to feel pity for the girl who just lost the one she loved. A tear began to well in Zeke's eyes but he clenched his teeth and the feeling of pity subsided. As unbelievable sad as this may be... I have a goal, and I will reach it, by any means necessary. I WILL BRING BACK MY FAMILY! Zeke thought as he absorbed the last of the light. The light from the flash that Sayaa made sped his absorption rate up significantly and he was ready. Zeke used his left had to cover up his birthmark on his right side as he concentrated. This pose also made it easier to steady his aim of his right arm. His lift arm across to his right sholder and his right arm extended out. His palm with his fingers curled inwards aimed directly at October's center mass. "LIMIT BURST!" Zeke yelled. A beam of pure white light, with the circumference of 3 feet around blast forth from the palm of his hand. Zeke must have been a little bit hesitant, because his aim was off just a bit. Only about 2 inches of the beam hit October's side, taking a 2 inch chunk of flesh off the esper, instantly cauterizing the wound. As soon as the beam hit, October dropped from the air and hit the ground. It was hard for October to keep track of all that had happened. One moment her sister was in danger, the next moment Jon was dead, and Nay was crying, and the next after that she felt a sharp pain as if a burning arrow had been shot through her side. She dropped from the sky and hit the ground. If it was not for the fact that Jon had just died, she probably would have passed out as well. But she knew, with these hunters, there was no time for unconsciousness. If she let her guard down for an instant they would all be dead. How did she get hit anyway? October looked over at the man who had a glowing birthmark. His hand was extended outwards aimed at the airspace that October had just been occupying. His hand was smoking with heat and burned ozone. So... he figured out that light from this plane can still reach my ethereal plane. Just what exactly is he? October thought as she dragged herself to her knees. Monty suppressed his rage as he watched his older brother die in front of him. On his special operation missions he had watched many of his friends die. This wasn't anything new, and Monty knew the dangers of hunting going into this. "October, I know you are hurt... but can you still use your ability?" Monty asked October thought about it. She was hurt and it was a bit hard to concentrate enough for her to obtain personal reality at the moment, but she felt that if she summed up the collective energy in her body she could do it. "Yes," October replied "Then take Nay, and get out of here. I will stay here and hold them back" Monty said October realized what he had said. She wanted to object, but she knew Monty was going through his plan with or without them in the cave "Fine." October said as she walked over to Nay and embraced her, reactivating her powers. Nay tried to struggle as she reached out towards Jon. But October just continued to hold on to Nay tightly as she floated up through the limestone and out to the open plains. And she continued to float until they were long gone and she was out of energy. "I am not going to stand here and give a speech about how you guys are evil. Or try to give a eulogy on my brother's behalf. You lot are clearly the victors here. We gambled at high stakes, and we lost. Jon was always foolish and emotional, which is why he is dead right now. I have no pity for him. I, too, have accepted that I shall die today. As long as those girls continue to live, I am fine with dying. However, I will not be dying without putting up a decent fight. I hope you are all ready." Monty said, his gruff voice filling the room. He pulled out a steel sphere about the size of gumball from his pockets, and placed it in the palm of his right hand.

So light in is way, like an aberration he had me crying out, "FUCK ME! IT'S GOTTA BE THE DEADHEAD CHEMISTRY! BLOTTER GOT RIGHT ON TOP OF ME! GOT ME SINGIN' E-MOTHERFUCKIN'-T"

Monty knew, even though he couldn't see it, that something was coming towards him. Monty quickly reached into his jacket and procured what looked to be a small riot shield for an action figure. He then used his power to restore it to it's original size and density, and soon he was holding a metal riot shield and he braced it in front of him as he felt the impact of a magic spell. He shook the blinding effects away from his head. He then grabbed the edges of the riot shield and spun around, winding up to bludgeon the man in gold across the head with the right shield. October could clearly see that the girl was trying to bait her away from the esper who controlled wind. Even if it was true that she was the one who knocked Nay unconscious, the wind esper is the one who was suffocation them, almost killing her sister. But be that as it may, she felt she still needed to try to make a point. October made her mouth tangible for a moment to say "How about I give you a couple of grenades instead?" She said as she turned her mouth intangible again and dropped a grenade down at the other girl. Jon saw that an elderly woman appeared after the ice spirit melted. "Too easy" Jon scoffed. and he turned his attention toward Monty who was fighting the man in gold He's next Jon thought as he started to walk towards Monty. Zeke's thought process started to go into overdrive as if his birthmark was trying to tell him something. Even though the girl is intangible we can still see her. So that must mean that light still effects her. Otherwise it would pass right through her and we wouldn't be able to see her Zeke thought. Zeke noticed Hikari had gotten injured by some shrapnel he rushed over to her. "I hope you are okay... Because I have a plan, and I need you and Lily to buy me some time" Zeke said to Hikari. He turned his LED flashlight from his phone on, and placed the phone upside down on the ground. The light illuminated Zeke's body. His birthmark then began to absorb the light in wispy tendrils. This should only take a minute or so to absorb enough juice, but if I am right, we can end this fight.
-
"FAIRY BLINK" Jon yelled Once again he used the spell to teleport his body a short distance. This time he used it to jump to a position about 5 feet behind the ice spirit. "I see," Jon said, "You are just a spirit. You are not using your own energy to continue your existence, you are using someone else's. Which means me killing you would be pointless, because as long as the person who summoned you has the energy to to do so, you will continue to be summoned into existence. Which means, I need to kill your master. But oddly enough, I do not see them here. So I guess I am just going to have to kill you enough times until your master runs out of energy to summon you again." Jon raised his sword shouting "ARTHUR PENDRAGON'S RAGE!" Instantly his blade caught fire as if a huge inferno consumed it. He then slashed outwards towards the ice spirit sending a slash wave of flames out. Monty saw the slap coming but it was too quick for him to duck it. The explosion knocked him 5 feet backwards as he tumbled to his knees. A normal person would be knocked out at this point or perhaps even dead, but Monty's years of military training made him resilient. He was back on his feet within three seconds. He had a singed cheek and a bruised ego, but he was okay. He spit out some blood and unholstered his pistol, shooting a few rounds at the man who slapped him. October allowed her fist and her entire body to pass through the had that grabbed her fist. She then flew up above the white haired girl and dropped a live grenade on the ground in front of her. Zeke saw the grenade drop and he ran for cover.

Devil Homura was right in what she did. Out of the love she had for Madoka, she sacrificed her existence as a normal entity so that she could rewrite the laws of the universe to make it so Madoka did not sacrifice herself to rid the universe of witches. Some people in the animu community think what she did was evil and that it disrespected Madoka's wishes. I think it was valiant and noble.

I agree with all that, but many people who say "Homura did nothing wrong" were usually being sarcastic. It's become a bit of a meme.
But, like, you're a Homu fan. This means you're on my good list. <3
