  1. @@Hederik, @@Colenso Rivers, @@Once In A Blue Moon, Despite Midnight's menacing countenance, Silver sat down next to him. Her gaze wandered over to Reverie and then up to the unicorn on stage. Something seemed weird about her. Silver leaned forward and squinted her eyes at the mare. Her head was...odd, it was too big, even without the eerily long horn. Looking at the mare was like looking at some shape shifting creature that was masquerading as a pony. Her features were, admittedly, attractive but that just made the mare all the more unsettling to Silver. Silver closed her eyes and quietly sighed. When she opened them again she looked over at Midnight and leaned towards him. "Did you talk to him?" She asked as quietly as she could.
  2. @@Hederik, @@Once In A Blue Moon, @@Colenso Rivers, ((OOC: Short post before bed to keep things moving.)) Silver used a foreleg to brush off the excess water and tears from her coat. It really only made the fur on her foreleg wet. Despite the fact that the nightmare still loomed over her head, Silver's mood was considerably brighter than earlier, physical contact with another pony, outside combat practice of course, was...pleasant to say the least. Too bad it had only lasted for a few minutes. Having finished futilely wiping at her coat, Silver looked over at Cirrus and offered her the warmest smile she could muster. Oddly, she felt some disappointment that the moment was already over. Her smile faltered a little but Silver was able to keep smiling at her, "You aren't either of those, Cirrus," Silver reached a hood out and placed it on her shoulder, "and you did nothing wrong. Nearly everypony was visibly affected by that dream...you just weren't able to see it." By now Silver's face had returned to a more neutral and guarded expression, "If it helps, I woke up crying too." Silver offered with a weak smile while she stood up and gave Cirrus a little space so she could stand up.
  3. @@Hederik, What was that? Silver thought as she stared, slack-jawed at the collapsed and crying mare. Part of her wanted to chase after Reverie and see what was wrong with him, but she knew that Cirrus needed someone to be there for her. She glanced over to Midnight who seemed just as taken aback and confused by Reverie's behavior as she was. Had Reverie ever acted like that before? While she wasn't exactly best friends with Reverie, she had known him for quite a few years and she had never seen him purposefully antagonize a pony that was clearly hurting. It didn't seem right. Still, between the two of them Cirrus clearly needed support more than Reverie. She could always confront Reverie about this later. Silver walked over to the poor mare and sat down on the floor next to her. She looked back up to Midnight and mouthed that she would help Cirrus. Whether or not he stayed was up to him though. The medic pony looked back down at Cirrus and gently brushed her mane, mostly so she wouldn't scare her. She slowly wrapped her hooves around the other mare and pulled her back up into a sitting position so that Cirrus was leaning against her. This time she didn't really offer any words of comfort, Silver felt it would be healthier for Cirrus to cry herself dry..
  4. @@Once In A Blue Moon, @@Colenso Rivers, @@Hederik, Beneath her covers, Silver wiped away the tears on her cheeks. Thatwas easily the most vivid and horrible dream she had had in years...possibly her entire life. She remained under the covers for the better part of a minute, long enough that she could regain some of her normal compsure. Just to be safe she wiped her eyes once again. "I hate this place...." Silver muttered to herself as she crawled out from under her covers and rolled off of her bed. Her body swayed slightly while she tried to shake off the last vestiges of their communal nightmare. The young medic took the time to blink several times for her vision to clear up enough so she could navigate the room without the risk of running into a bed or another pony. She shuffled forward towards the bowl of water so she could wash her face. Cirrus' sob stopped her in her tracks. Silver turned back around and walked over to Cirrus' bed. She fell back on her haunches and leaned against the bed. She reached out and placed her hoof on, what she thought, was one of Cirrus' forelegs. She gently caressed the other mare's foreleg in as comforting a manner as possible. "I-it's okay.... "Silver said, her voice sounded weaker than she intended, "It was just a nightmare. It's over now." That was a lie of course. And a poor one at that. The fact that they had all shared it was testament to that.
  5. @@Golbez, @@Mentis Soliloquy, Hey guys, it would be great if you two could respond soon.
  6. Silver Heart @@Once In A Blue Moon, @@Colenso Rivers, @@Hederik, "Thanks!" Silver said with a smile, her voice as equally cheerful, as she followed Cat. Her smile fell as she looked back to Colenso, she opened her mouth to speak and hesitated, she quickly muttered, "Don't worry about it, it's fine." as she walked past him. Silver followed the other two ponies as they made their way through the corridors, outside, and then up the hill. The underbrush was thick enough that the short trek was irritating, especially since she couldn't use her magic to light their way. The thousands of hours of constant training seemed to have had some benefits, excluding how inconvenient the hike was, it wasn't particularly difficult. Before she had been drafted, walking up an untamed hill with nothing but moonlight to guide her would have sounded like a bad idea. Honestly, it was still a terrible idea, or at least the trip back down would be. One misstep or fall could lead to an injury that would end their careers before they even began. The spot at the top of the hill held quite the view, to put it lightly. Silver made sure to stay several steps away from the edge of the cliff, close enough that she was part of the conversation but far enough away that she wouldn't have to look over the edge. She took a glance through the binoculars that were handed to her before passing them back. Cat's enthusiasm for cartography made an otherwise dull subject fairly interesting. Cat's singing was, in Silver's opinion, very pleasing to listen to. Easily the best part of her night so far. She waited until Cat was finished before clapping lightly with her forehooves while she listened to both Cat and Colenso speak about how the world was larger than they were taught. She waited until both were finished speaking before voicing her thoughts on the matter. "What if their's nothing out there? If there were other ponies, wouldn't we have had contact with them by now? Even if there are other ponies, out there somewhere, the distance between us is too far?" She fell silent for a moment before ontinuing, "Worse than nothing, what if we attract the attention of something hostile? Any exploration beyond our home would need to be very carefully planned out." she said as she stood up, ready to follow the others back down to their dorms.
  7. It will be at least 16 hours before I can post. Unless I do another small post during my break at work, I've got to get sleep, go to work than attend a seminar before I'll have a chance to get home in front of my computer.
  8. I plan on writing a post but if I'm too slow I'm all for you continuing the RP. It's been three years since I've been in a RP that was actually active and had people posting more than once a week in it. Also I'm all for an OOC PM. It makes things easier in regards to updates.
  9. ((OOC: I'm sending this over my phone during a break. So I can't mention people since I can't remember the code for it. Sorry for the inconvenience. So this will be a bit short. I should be able to start writing better posts soon. I just haven't had any time I devote to RPing lately.)) Silver wasn't entirely sure if Cat's invitation was directed at just Colenso or anyone within ear shot. While her body was sore and tired, she was up for a little bit of socializing before bed. She waited for Colenso to leave before she approaches Cat. "Would you mind if I came along? It's been awhile since I've spent any time relaxing outside." She asked the other mare.
  10. Earlier you said we could opt out of this scene. Or to at least tell you if we don't have much to say. At the moment in too tired to make a post and I probably can't think of enough to say for a post right now. I don't want o hold the RP up so I'll just have Silver be....reclusive for this scene. Great question. I'm curious what the answer is.
  11. @@Once In A Blue Moon, @@Colenso Rivers, @@Hederik, So I wanted to get my post out to keep this ball rolling but I''m pretty much spent energy wise and wanting to go to bed. I'm going to pump out a post and apologize if it isn't that great. I have no idea how old anyone is in this RP. I just assumed he was talking about ponies his own age at the part.
  12. Silver Heart @@Once In A Blue Moon, @@Colenso Rivers, @@Hederik, Silver sat in her chair slumped against the desk. Her muscles and bones ached from the three trips down the mountain and back. For now she could be happy that it was over, at least until tomorrow came. And then it would be more grueling exercises and lessons with an all too brief respite at the end. She quietly groaned as she forced herself to sit back up and look around the room at the other Cadets gathered there to see if anyone had been missing. A quick glance about the room confirmed that everyone, except their teacher, was present and accounted for. She had a veritable buffet of ponies to talk to. Now, if only her muscles weren't protesting even the thought of getting up to talk to someone. She'd have to settle for somepony near her. Silver glanced between Reverie and Cirrus. Both were relatively close to her and neither looked particularly interested in speaking. Between the two, Cirrus looked less preoccupied than Reverie did. Silver opened her mouth to speak but before she could voice a syllable Cat called her attention. "No, I left early to..." she paused, it took some effort to actually remember what exercise she had done that morning. After the first year it all started to blend together for her. "...help treat the injuries of Cadets that got hurt during some combat exam. I think." she responded sounding a little uncertain if she had actual done that.

  14. @@Hederik, Better late than never I suppose. Name: Silver Heart Race: Unicorn Gender: Mare Gear: Light body armor. Medical Supplies A metal weight attached by a chain to a smaller weight. (A telekinetic weapon that is used much like a flail. The smaller weight is gripped in a Unicorns telekinesis which allows them to swing the heavier weight with more force than they would otherwise produce. Bio: Silver Heart grew up in an orphanage. She spent her early years hoping that a family would adopt her. Eventually, like many other orphans, that hope died with age. To keep herself sane, Silver started finding ways to keep herself busy. This usually consisted of caring for the sick and injured children. In her teenage years, Silver spent her spare time acting like a sister figure to the younger ponies in the orphanage, thus she fulfilled her desire to feel loved and needed. As she grew older Silver started to study medicine and healing magic, something that she found quite fun. When she wasn't helping to take care of the other orphans or studying medicine she would walk around the Valley exploring every where she was allowed to go. News of her hobbies eventually reached the recruiters for the Academy and Silver was drafted to be trained as a combat medic. Personality: Silver tries to come off as a cheerful and friendly pony though sometimes the realities of life get her down. She suffers from some anger and abandonment issues. At a relatively young age she was told by some of the older orphans that many of the foals left at the orphanage were unwanted by their parents. While she tried to ignore it, the thought that she had been abandoned by her parents never really left her subconscious. Combat style: Silver prefers to keep a distance between herself and her foes. She supports her allies with her magic while she takes advantage of the range if her weapon. Appearance: Silver Heart is a mare of average height. She's slightly underweight for a Cadet. Her coat is a nearly white grey and her mane is a deep purple. Her mane is shoulder length and wavy. Cutie mark: A green Caduceus in the shape of a tree over a red heart.

  16. @@Mentis Soliloquy, @@FortyTwo42, @@The Elusive Cinder, @@Hederik, @@Golbez, Tragedy/Harmony The young mare closed her eyes and quietly breathed out as she listened to Summer. "I think you are taking things little too personally. After all, it was a very awkward occasion, almost no one talked to each other the entire din-" Several screams erupted from just inside the door. Her ears perked up when a mare called for someone to get a medic. Immediately she turned around and walked back in through the door to see what was going on. There was a mare walking around grasping her throat and screaming, a stallion was on the table with blood coming out of his mouth, and everypony else was either in a state of shock or panic. She immediately ran to her sister's side and shielded her eyes from the body with one of her wings. Mirror Image Mirror stared, her eyes wide and mouth hanging slightly open, at Cursive's body as he lay collapsed on the table. What had happened? She glanced to the bottle of wine that had spilled onto the table. And then over to the chalice that both Cherry and herself had been drinking from. She had only had a little bit but Cherry had had at least one full glass. The implications of what had happened slowly churned in her mind. Her stomach hurt but she wasn't sure if that was the poisoned wine or the stress of the situation. She didn't even notice that Cherry had been clinging to her until she felt her let go. "Ch-Cherry?" she gasped as she turned away from the table and watched Cherry wander aimlessly around the room grasping at her throat. Cherry's pleas for help fell on deaf ears as Mirror sat helplessly in her seat barely comprehending the horror that was happening in front of her. Once Cherry strangled herself into unconsciousness, Mirror slowly lowered herself off of her chair and sat next to Cherry's unconscious form. Harmony and Tragedy Emerald's question caught her off guard, "Close! I'm actually Harmony." she said smiling at the mare. Her smile quickly faded as Cursive Initial collapsed on the table. She wasn't sure what was going on but there was blood coming from his mouth and he wasn't moving. Without even realizing it she had stood up from her chair and taken several steps back from the stallion's corpse. Death and blood were things that she had never been able to handle well. Before she knew it she had back up against the wall. It wasn't until her sister had covered her eyes that she was able to look away from his body. "Are you okay?" Tragedy whispered to her sister and Harmony nodded back. She sighed in relief, "Good. We need to go check on our moms, they both drank a lot of wine too." Once again Harmony nodded back. Still shielding her sister from looking at Cursive's prone form, Tragedy announced that they needed to check on their parents and that they would get Red Cask to come help. Without waiting for a response she led her sister out of the room. And with that all of the guests were alone.

Miraculously, Cherry managed to stay silent, except for a single dramatic gasp as the Prince entered the room. Cherry raised herself from her chair after the Prince's outburst so that she was standing on her hind legs.
