How do fanfics affect your veiw of equestria?

I think fan fics are wonderful, but I dont like it if they try to press their views into being canon. In my opinion, Derpy wouldn't be a mother at her age keeping in tune with the show canonly. I don't know why people are trying to push that Dinky, is her daughter.. its really kinda blah and ruins the image of Derpy for me. Fans gonna do what fans gonna do.. -
Its pretty easy I think, someone just starts a group and says "Hey everyone, join in my group!" We can set up RP times here on the forum as well as keep track of stuff. I played a little last night on SL, had a blast and made some friends pretty quick in Bronyville. Though I think some of the series characters are taken for official RP in Bronyville and Canterlot. I became friends with the official Rarity and Fluttershy last night, both great ppl! It was pretty populated and the streaming fan made pony music isn't bad ether. I was able to go shoot Zombie Commies at the Canterlot Arcade, do some light shopping, and watch Friendship is magic cartoons at the movie theater. I even physically got caught in a cage when I was in the Everfree Forest. I made myself just like my avatar here, except with wings. I can help anypony get started, but most everyone there is helpful. So, who wants to get this thing started? It'll take a real leader with hooves of steel and a heart as golden as a summer apple! Update: I just became the official Derpy of Bronytown (SL's ponyville) the staff are really nice and helpful as well. Stop by and rp with us! -
LOL well I don't care really, half the ponys in second life are furries, if not more. I rather someone be both than an extremely wing. Saying that, I've met furries who hate ponies and ponys that want nothing to do with furries. I used to be a furry years ago. I didn't care for the new age community. Brony community seems a bit more together.

Yeah I was goofing around with color and contrast. I been trying to draw with the iPad lately, even bought a stylist for it. However the iPad stylists have these fat stubby tips like eraser ends.

LoL those are nice, and also loud and proud. Do you use simple iron ons from large printer? I've made my own shirts in the past but they typically don't last long

Not much to tell really. My little filly loves MLP:FIM! We often play together with her ponys and watch the show together. I'm also a returning college student trying to get a PHD in Geology. However I do love plants and my house is pretty full of them. I just don't want to study them.. I been to Hawaii three times in my life (with my parents) and the memories are fond ones, I love the island tropics so this character's name is Palm Tree. She's a tropical botanist. I'm a single parent who needs a break from the flow of homework, real world troubles, and sometimes my kids, but I do love them dearly. I'm 31, and I don't believe I'm that old, but probably older than most in this community. I was in the military for six years and proud of my service. If I could live anywhere, it be never never land with ponys :3 Edit: I love the mane 6 equally but I just chose Applejack for kicks. I also do a little drawing on the side, nothing spectacular though. Egad not even one view yet? Fiiiiiine something is needed to spice up this thread. Here's a little photo cropping of my toon.

I did this on my iPad this morning, just goofing around. Not very good yet with the iPad drawing thing but meh.. its random and colorful. Probably make someone's eyes bleed with the contrasts.

I saw that episode from another website thats MLP related. Gawd those kids are dumb except for the girl in the hat and the cheerful guy. They only showed the intro too from what I could see, and that doesn't even really explain the show's meat and potatos ANyways welcome!

Is there an official Second Life offshoot where people use a 3D pony avatar to talk or RP thats associated with this site or unassociated? I haven't used Second Life in years but I'm just curious.
