the whole fact of "you are dead, now you have to wait an hour to play again or let us have more money, also finding shit in this game is impossible, so use our store to give us more money and have better items" just sickens me, the game is focused on PVP as well as PVE, which means, people are going to die and those dead people cant play the game they payed for unless they payed more to play again. plus pay-to-win on a zombie game is friggin' suicidal idiotic

I kinda agree, but there's a point where satire can become worse than what it's satirizing. I like making them, but they pull attention from other blog entries, especially because they bump other blog entries off the "Recent Blog Entries" thing.

Maybe I'll keep making them, but post them in the less active hours. That seems like a good balance. Or maybe just make them less frequently.

Honestly I'm not very much a fan of the NES either. Almost all the games considered "classics" in its library have aged like crap and terrible compared to today's design standards. The only NES games I really like are the Classic Mega Man games and Mario 3 and I have found much more enjoyment out of my modern consoles than any "retro" system. And for the record, graphics aren't the only reason. I simply find more recent games more engaging and lively than 8-bit games.

 

I know you're trying to satirize the dudebro gamers of today but you're blowing it so out of proportion and making it so stupid immature and stupid its really unrealistic. I really loathe people who make fun of people who prefer modern gaming to the point where they're acting as low as the thing they're demonizing.

I personally enjoy both retro and modern games, and I actually considered making him one of the annoying RETRO IS BETTER THAN ALL MODERN GAMES people, but that was kinda ruled out when I realized that those tend to be literate, while the PONESLAYR character isn't. The CALL OF DUTY > ALL OTHER GAMES people stereotypically type like a monkey flinging poo at a keyboard, so it works.)
