If you only have a small thing to say in the rp thread put your message in brackets or parentheses. And you get 200 characters by typing a paragraph. If you need something to write think of writing a character's thoughts or write about their surroundings.

I forgot about the character limit so I'll be posting Fizzy Sparks and her cameraman's reactions to the fights every time I post the point deductions.

@@Colt, @, Five points deducted, Paradox Shift now has 45 health points remaining. Fizzy Sparks had managed to get into the arena and was sitting in one of the stands with her cameraman. "Are you getting this?" She demanded, waving her hoof in the direction of the fighters. "Please tell me you're getting this!" She screeched and the cameraman huffed in annoyance. "Yess, Miss Sparks. I. Am. Getting. It." He ground out.

There will be educational games, healthy snacks and melodious lullaby filled nap-times. So bring your child to Darling Foal Daycare and don't worry about a thing." You immediately rejoice as you had been looking for a foal sitter for your foals! The next day you take your foals to the daycare and then go to work. Your mind is at ease because you know they will be taken care of. Meanwhile at the Daycare, the two unicorn owners 'Poof and 'Twinkle' are dealing with a crisis and a hard decision. There parents are sick and they need to go to Canterlot to take care of them! But, they have no one to take care of the fillies and colts, save for their son 'Pazazz'! But their son isn't responsible enough and they don't have anyone else to fill in. So finally with after writing down specific instructions and forcing their son to promise them multiple times that he wouldn't let anything go wrong, they take the train to Canterlot. A few hours pass with nothing happening aside from a little argument between two foals, and Pazazz is bored out of his pony mind! But then his friends come in and convince him to go with them to the edge of the everfree forest to play. Pazazz agrees to go, thinking he'll be back in time, and that nothing would happen since the foals were all asleep anyway, but he was wrong. As soon as Pazazz leaves, the foals split into two groups. The two foals from before have some unfinished business and plan to end it now. Soon the daycare is split into two parts and the middle is a war zone. Rules: - No godmodding. - Spelling and Grammar counts. - Every character is a foal. So make sure you're character acts like a foal not a full grown pony or 'just really mature for his/her age'. - Third person, past tense. Paragraph format, at least five sentences per post. - This rp is rated PG. No serious violence, no romance save for puppy love. - If you want to be one of the two foals that started the argument, pm me. (No one person can be both.) - This is a lighthearted rp, keep it that way. - If you break any rules, you're out. - Only unicorns, earth ponies and pegasi. - The reason that foals started arguing will be voted on (see below). - No canon characters, no one has a cutie mark yet. - Unicorns have random burst of magic but aren't extremely strong. Fighters please enter your respective tunnels and enter the arena." Fizzy Sparks let's out a dismayed groan as the two fighters were called. She had wanted to interview them more! Scuffing the ground with her foot, Fizzy trots over to the other fighters, the cameraman walking along behind her.

OOC Thread: http://mlpforums.com/topic/77405-topside/ Everything used to be normal. Everypony would get up and go about their daily business while cheerfully interacting with one another. The fillies and colts would romp and play with each other, their wide eyes shining with joy and curiosity. Everything was perfect. Until everything changed. Suddenly and without warning, the ground began to shake, heaving and crumbling bit by bit. The ponies froze in their tacks unsure of what to do. They should have ran. The earth gave one final shudder before the ground began to crumble beneath the feet of a group of ponies who had been playing around in the town square. Before anypony could come to their aid, the group fell into the newly created abyss and before the unicorns could try and use their magic to retrieve them, the earth collapsed on top of the group. A funeral was held that day. And everypony mourned for the death of the group. But little did they know, that the fallen ponies had survived but were trapped below the surface. The group must now band together, navigate the plethora of tunnels underground, and try to return topside, before they perish. Missy Splash woke up to darkness. She couldn't even see her hooves in front of her face! She stood up, slowly her legs shaking and knocking together. She closed her eyes and pushed through the pain of her headache to create a small spark of light and released a gasp. She had--She had been hoping that everything that happened was a dream. Some type of nightmare! Bu there she was with nothing but dirt above and around her. She glanced to the side noticing several bodies beside her. She drew in a sharp intake of breath and approached one of the ponies carefully. She let out a sigh of relief when she saw that they were breathing. "Guys! Guys wake up!" She hissed, not sure if she should be loud at the time.

And with that she cantered towards the closest fighter. "I'm going to interview them before they go in!" She said as she skid to a stop in front of one of the fighters. "Hello there fighter! Can you introduce yourself and tell me what you're going to do with the prize money if you win?"

@,@@Colt,@, You guys know that the fights are between one of your characters and somebody else's characters right? That mock fight we just did with the made up opponent was just to show you guys what to do. Or would you all prefer fighting against random monsters individually?

@, Yes, I will list the pairings for the fights and I will monitor the damage. You don't fight together though, it'll be like you guys are in separate arenas.

Say something then, instead of going 'eh.' every time you post. Anyway I have some issues to deal with so I'm going to have to drop out, not that it matters;

1. Yes it does. ^^ 2. If I attack you and I say 2 points deducted, you now have 48 points. You can respond with 'Colt dodged the blow' or something along those lines and that will render the point deduction invalid. 3. The whole arena is basically a Colosseum, except the fighting ring is surrounded by thick metal bards. around the ring are tunnels where the fighters enter and leave through. After a fight starts, the fighters cannot return to the tunnels until the referee says that the fight is over.

@, @@Colt,@, Alright the mock fight is over and here are my suggestion/critiques. Number 1: Three sentences per post, third person past tense. Paragraph format. Number 2: Sometimes I had no clue what you guys were talking about. Number 3: (This is for Colt) I suppose I should have added this, but you can't leave the ring until the fight is deemed over by the referee. Number 4: (And Natalie the Mage this is only for you really) When you say that you are going to use one character. Only rp with that one character. And at least make a note of the opponent, and the other people. If this were an actually animation, your character would have just appeared out of thin air and started throwing punches. Now are there any questions about the rp, and are there any things that you were confused about? Also I edited the main post to make each fight one round instead of three. When everyone's clear on the rules we will start and I'd like to ask if someone can make up some random character so the fights will be even.
