    I find it strange that people still call any Kingdom Hearts game that's not 1 and 2 a spinoff. To be a spinoff it needs to not be directly related to the overall story but every single one IS. You can argue HOW relevant or impacting they are but it doesn't change the fact that they are. There are no spinoffs in the KH series yet.

      But yeah, Riku was definitely pretty mopey in the second game but some would say he had good reason for it. DDD is by far my favorite game in the series though. Not only do you play as Riku but the overall gameplay is smoother than ever.
