  1. For me, I don't force ponies down peoples' throats but I'll be damned if I'm gonna NOT share things with people just because people are gonna hate me for it. I will fight til my dying breath for things I believe in, that includes being able to say what I want, when I want rather than having to deliberately hide it from people I know are gonna hate on it.

  2. My biggest thing about the whole deal isn't so much about whether he watches it, likes or hates it or whatever.

It's the ridicule he puts on me and the fans of the show. it's ridiculous.

Because it wasn't socially normal to like ponies when he was a kid, it's not normal now.

Society changes and he seems to think that all of society should stay the same and people like him are the only things keeping society from falling apart.

I'm very tired of that alpha male attitude towards everything about me and things I like and the people who happen to agree with me.

  3. So apparently he has watched it some. And he says it's retarded. I don't think he watched more than half an episode though and because his daughter became disinterested in it that means it's a bad show.

    This person is impossible. -_-

Half an episode isn't nearly enough to judge an entire series.

  4. I find 0.0001% chance that this person will ever become a brony but the least I can do is at least stop him from talking ignorantly about it.

I'm not the type to force conformity or force my opinions and views on others but this guy, though a friend, really reaches to the limits with things he says about it.

  5. I picked out two episodes for him to watch that aren't even the pilot. I don't care if you are a 40 year old, ex-military, alpha male who thinks that there are certain social standings that should never be messed with like boys watching ponies or playing with dolls when they are young, I refuse to let you talk shit about something you don't really know that much about except that the people you know don't watch it and say that the fact that it has such a huge fanbase is because of bandwagoning or all the fans are just weirdos and not normal people.

I gave him Applebuck Season to show off the comedy of the series and Party of One to show the extremities that show up in the series that you literally can't limit to "just a girl's show"

  6. Trying to get someone to watch the show who just looks at it as a show for little girls and the only people older than that who like it are weirdos and furry lovers is a real pain in the ass.

He hates when people talk shit about video games without having played them so I refuse to listen to any of his crap unless he watches it for himself. I'm not saying he has to like it but unless he does I won't take anything he says seriously.

He literally told me that if he had a son who liked the show he would forcibly make sure his son never watched it because it's not normal for a boy to like a show with rainbow colored ponies.

  7. Well Spike's flame still burns things, the only thing that his flame does differently is send things to Princess Celestia, which we don't even have any confirmation that other dragons can't do the same.

Though it's rare to find a purple dragon in anything and the Legend of Spyro suggests that purple dragons are special in some way, that they have the ability to do things that other dragons cannot or can wield power of all other types of dragons given the opportunity to learn it.

  8. Played Bioshock today, I'm in Hephaestus just kinda exploring. Whenever I go to a new place I always go in everywhere but where I'm supposed to go just to explore.

I know I'm a little late to the party but now that I have Bioshock and love it I'll be getting 2 as well and then Infinite when it comes out.

  9. I'm not really a frequent movie watcher, but anything Pixar is on my list. Bruce Almighty is also one that I've really liked.

Yeah, I don't watch movies much at all. Been watching more lately thanks to my friend who watches movies moving in with me though. Only reason I ever saw movies like The Ugly Truth were because of her. lol

Oh and Gummy, I don't know what that movie is. Don't hate me. :(

  10. I thought about the group idea actually with the Diamond Dogs but I didn't even think of CMC.

Would you want them in a Captain Commando type of thing where it's one main one (like Applebloom) and the others just come in for attacks, Pokemon Trainer where you switch out between the three by pressing a certain combo or all three of them on-screen the whole time pulling off moves together?

Also, I know I reference Marvel vs Capcom a lot, I've been playing it quite a bit lately. LOL

  11. Just discuss movies in general!

I saw Despicable Me for the first time the other day. I loved it. I still can't get over this guy's face:

When Gru asked him if he had a sense of humor and it showed his face I was like "Dude, he just serious'd all over your fun"

  12. There is one 3DS game that I want actually that would possibly make me get the 3DS sooner rather than later but it's...not certain it'll even come to the US.

Beyond the Labyrinth. A Tri-Ace made game. It looks amazing graphically, though I don't know much else beyond that.

Ehhh... I really wouldn't get a PSP or a 360 now. The Vita is almost here, and we're basically gonna be in the next generation of gaming by... 2013, if all goes well. I mean, it would suck to buy a home console as the next one i about to get in stores, its like people who bought the DSiXL, only to learn of the 3DS.

But yeah, computers are always in. I'd personally get a PC, and then a 3DS.

Well I have my reasons for getting those. There's some 360 exclusive games that aren't on PC that I want like Blue Dragon and Lost Odyssey, plus fighting games on a 360 controller > fighting games on a PS3 controller because of the joystick placement.

And as for PSP, unless the Vita has been confirmed to be BC for the PSP I have games on there that are also exclusive that I want.

I don't mind having to start in the new generation late as long as I get the games I want, I have a Wii, DS and PS3 but there's games on the others I don't have and want and can't be obtained on PC or the others I have.

  13. I don't have a 3DS yet but it's not high on my list of consoles to get. 360 and PSP and a new computer are first. The only games I'm particularly interested in are Star Fox 3D and Kingdom Hearts Dream Drop Distance.

Not that I have looked at many of the games on the shelves at Wal Mart to know what all's out there. lol

  14. Just restarted Fallout 3 for the third time.

At first I figured I was gonna try to plat it with this run but then I thought...eh I'm just gonna play like I did the first time I played it with a good character using the responses I'd usually put in that type of situation.

Saved right when I got to the Nineteen Year part where you have to escape Vault 101.

I'm at least gonna try to do all of the quests I haven't done yet, probably need to figure out how to use the invention system too. I never figured out how to do it in my previous playthroughs.

I've always had trouble getting caps though, which is funny cuz in Oblivion I had absolutely no problem getting money, didn't even particularly need it though because of healing spells. Not so lucky in Fallout 3, except perhaps a perk that will recover my health.
