One good thing to know about this site that is even if things get a little debate-y or controversial, as long as everypony respects everypony else, we've yet to see a single flame war of even the smallest kind so far. Well the last few days I've been really into playing online multi Marvel vs Capcom 2 and even though I get my ass handed to me on a silver platter it's loads of fun. There are a few close calls though where I almost won.

I've also been replaying Kingdom Hearts: 358/2 Days for DS and playing Bioshock for the first time on PS3. Beyond that I haven't played much of anything.

Which is rare for me, usually I play tons of games at the same time but the fact that I don't have a job and need to look for one weighs down on my soul a bit.

I need to get one soon though so I can have the money for Sonic Generations at launch though. ;-;

I just watched those two videos. What the crap is this? lol

First one was a little better as a cartoon but definitely shows that it's directed at little girls.

The second video...the animations were so off. Please tell me this is the one is the one I heard was made solely for the endorsement of the toys. Cuz if that's actually meant to be a legitimate cartoon that's sad.

I don't think I could ever stand to hear Alucard done by anyone but Crispin Freeman. The dude does the "evil dude" voice better than anyone imo.

lol I make it a point to know most, if not all, of a forums useable features that are relevant to posting.

I've seen this sort of thing before where some fans turn cartoons and such into the most horror/gore-filled videos and pictures they can imagine just to scare people.

But what do you think of them? Do you think they are a disgrace because of what the show is originally like? Do you not care just because it's just another fan thing? Or do you perhaps like them for one reason or another?

Personally, I find myself intrigued by them. Perhaps for the mere contrast they have with the MLP show. I don't like it in a disturbing kind of way but more as an art appreciator kind of way, seeing such a difference from the original is truly intriguing, even if it's just as a means of defacing the name of MLP. You could say I'm more a fan of the contrast it represents rather than the content of the material itself.

To avoid scaring the bejeezus out of anyone I won't post anything and if you do please try to put spoiler tags around it so people don't accidentally look at it and scar themselves.

Because I am the sexiest here I shall forgive all of you for attempting to upstage me.

I've seen other forums do this but not as seamlessly as this one. I find this to be a fantastic choice of forum hosts!

I wish for Blackthorne on SNES to be remade for PS3.

That warm and fuzzy feeling is exactly what I love the show to this day.

Man, now I wanna rewatch the whole series. LOL

I honestly never considered the older generation of My Little Pony based solely on everyone saying it was horrible. After watching this, my opinion doesn't change that much. If I were to watch one of the other generations, it would probably be G1 because it just has that 80's awesomeness to it. If I ever have the time, it would be pretty cool to look at all the older characters to get a general idea of how the G4 ponies were made.

 

This is my line of thinking as well. I wanna watch them, more than anything, to see how the original versions of the characters evolved into what we have now.

Can't say I'm much of a sports person but I did enjoy going to a baseball game this summer. Made me wanna get MLB '10 The Show just to have a baseball game.

I always did like Basketball too though.

Meh, heres my opinion of how a Pokemon game with all the regions should work.

 

First, you could choose which of the 5 regions to start in. Simple, and the game would continue like most Pokemon games. Once you've defeated the elite 4 of that region, you could buy a ticket at the region's port town to another region. Now, when you go to another region, due to international laws, you can't bring Pokemon you had to the new region. Yup, you start from scratch. Now, yo won't lose them, but you won't have access to those Pokemon until you defeat the region's elite 4.

 

So lets say I have a level 76 Blastoise. That thing could easily sweep through Johto. But instead, I leave it behind in Kanto, and get a Totodile instead. But once I beat the Johto elite 4, or return to Kanto, I can easily use my Blastoise.

 

Oh, and if it was to become MMO, it better be an optional feature, and I better be able to do it with friends only if I wanted to. I really don't want to be bugged by 6 year olds when I'm level grinding on a Nuzlocke.

I'm probably the devil's advocate, but playing a Pokemon game works just as fine when you want to be alone, and I personally just don't see making it MMO a good idea. :/

 

If that were the case, what would be the incentive? If you are gonna make players use different pokemon each region there's gotta besomething that'll make doing so worthwhile. Perhaps getting to choose which region you start in and depending on where you start you get different TMs and HMs and get to do certain parts of the region sooner rather than later?

If you had to "restart" in every region, you might as well not have them in one game at all. It'd be better off as separate games anyway.

I've been wanting to go back and watch it. Someone linked me to a comparison review someone made but I still wanna watch oldschool Ponies just to watch it.
