  1. I have:

    PS1 (Broken)

    PS2

    PS3 (Substitute PS1 as well)

    DS (Substitute GBA)

    Gamecube (Don't really use it)

Wii (I play all my GC games on here)

NES (Not actually mine but I have it to use)

I used to have an N64 but it got crayons jammed in it and we ended up throwing it away cuz we couldn't get them out.

Also, you can count any downloadable games and their original systems in there too, like SNES and N64 for the Wii.

I mostly play my PS2 and PS3 but my DS has been getting a lot of work lately. lol

I'm gonna end up having to cut back on my game time when I go to college though, that much I'm sure of.

  2. Well, of course. Anime is pretty big on the internet. One of the main things people talk about next to video games, movies and sports.

There's a forum for everything. And even within those forums there's something else to talk about.

  3. Well they made a Dragon Quest MMO, a series that quite honestly never had any business being an MMO, so it's always possible for Pokemon to have one. Digimon has had one or two and it's not even close to as popular as Pokemon (Though still quite popular)

  4. What they attempt and what they actually do are two totally different things. lol

A lot of the US' biggest music industry is rap and hip-hop and stuff so I'm sure they changed it to try to be more popular. Doesn't necessarily mean they succeeded though.

  5. i would play that. But how would levels work? by the time you got to sinnoh or unova every pokemon would be level 90-100

As for the WiiU, I'm probably gonna wait a couple of months to get it. They way things went with the 3DS this year is making me not want to get the WiiU when it first comes out.

It would be simple enough to extend the level cap. There are other RPGs out there with level caps upwards to 200-250 I'm sure if they made a game like that they could extend it.

Or they could make the difference in levels much bigger, more experience to get to another level or getting less experience from a battle you would normally get 100 Exp for.

Personally, I'd love a DMC-like Pokemon game. Not in the sense that it's bloody and demonic but the gameplay type would be amazing imo.

  6. I love most kinds of music, there's a few I don't like as much though.

My preferred genres are metal (of any kind), techno/dance/rave or classical. Sometimes some uppity jazz gets me goin' too though.

I particularly like classical when it's super epic or super sad. Pirates of the Caribbean is a great epic piece and a great sad piece is Tartini's The Devil's Trill.

As for metal, or rock in some cases, I love it a lot of the time. Don't care if I can understand lyrics so much so screaming is either something I don't care if it's there or I like it. Skeletonwitch is has my favorite type of screaming but their guitar and drums are godly.

Favorite bands are Disturbed, Skeletonwitch, All That Remains, Scar Symmetry and Nightwish.

  7. I've been reading the OP manga though, sometimes it's better just to go the ol' paper route!

Also, just to have it said: Top 3-5 anime/manga, anyone?

3-5 because I know that some people can't choose between just three, some can't even do five. I do that a lot of the time and it constantly changes.

Also, specify if your experience is with the anime or the manga, sometimes they are different. If it's both, then list both!

This is in no particular order but they are definitely my top 5.

    Negima (Manga)

    Jing: King of Bandits (Manga)

Chibi Vampire/Karin (Anime and Manga+Novels based on manga)

    Louie The Rune Soldier (Anime)

    History's Strongest Disciple Kenichi (Manga)

I thought that opening was horribly annoying long before I even knew that it wasn't the real One Piece opening 1 and that the show had been butchered.

As for the BGM they replaced music like this:

    http-~~-//www.youtube.com/watch?v=fY7WNpP6sL0

    With their generic synthesized music.

I guess orchestral music was not acceptable for kids?

    That's actually really pretty.

I'd say it's not so much about being acceptable as it's about being hip. As we all know, some companies try to be hip and fail at it.

  8. This isn't directly linked with Nintendo but lately I've been playing Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days for the third time. I love this game and I will forever be a fan of the series thanks to the DS KH games. I love KHI and KHII but Days and Coded have far better gameplay imo. Their story ain't nothin' to sneeze at either.

Still haven't played BBS though, no PSP.

  9. I didn't watch a whole lot of OP but what I did watch I had little problem with. I agree with Sanji's VA.

Also, I don't remember the BGM of OP much but the one thing I'll always love is the OP rap for the opening. I'll never get tired of that. LOL

  10. I love watching anime the last one I just finished was Darker than Black that one was really good

I absolutely love Darker Than Black. The fact that season 2 is getting a dub is awesome news, though I don't know anything about the bridging episodes. I don't particularly care if the second season isn't about Hei and his team, I just hope it's still good. Doesn't have to match up to the first season totally, just somewhat imo.

Since we're on the issue of dubbed anime, take a look at this picture and see if you recognize the character on the far right...

Yep, that's Near from Death Note. For those of you who don't know, the english dub version uses none other than Cathy Weseluck as the voice talent. She also did the voice for Spike. So there ya have it! Spike is Near! Now try getting that one out of your head. :D

I've yet to watch Death Note but I know someone who has the whole thing so I'll probably get to watch it. The range of voices she's done though...it's pretty cool. Spike, from MLP, then Near...from a dark anime like Death Note? lol

  11. I had absolutely no problem with the VAs of 4Kids One Piece. The problems I had with it were the unnecessary editing put into it to make it more kid friendly. Sanji with a lollipop rather than a cigarette, guns using corks rather than bullets, etc.

I honestly couldn't imagine any other voice for Luffy than the one 4Kids gave him.

  12. This could cause a huge ****storm around here but...subbed or dubbed? Which side are you on?

I know most anime fans are on the side of subbed but I wonder how many are into dubbed too?

I will always prefer dub to sub any day. I have no issue with most voices and the few that I do (Karin from Karin/Chibi Vampire, for example) I just deal with.

There are some cases where the dub will always sound infinitely better to me. Darker Than Black's main character's VA in Japanese just doesn't fit him but the English VA is perfect. Oh and then there's Goku in Dragon Ball Z. His Japanese voice is horribly unfitting.

I only watch subbed if there is no dub or I can't find the dub anywhere.

  13. I don't know about what other people think, but I love almost all cartoons, always have. Any time I'm just flipping through the channels on the TV and I come across some sort of animated show I've never seen before, there's about a 95% I'll watch the entire thing. I don't know why, but I've always found animated shows and movies fasinating. Disney, Pixar, Dreamworks, Cartoon Network, anime, Looneytoons, Nickelodeon, and many others. I just love animated shows and I love Friendship is magic because the show is utterly brilliant! The characters, the story, the beautiful simplicity of the animation, what's not to love? It's generated this awesome fanbase of exceedingly awesome people that's growing by the thousands. Plus the show is just wholesome. It's not too often, especially nowadays, when you come across something so pure and original. Making someone laugh in a cartoon is easy, but making them smile when you're not trying to be funny is very difficult, and Friendship is Magic pulls it off well.

I definitely know what you mean! When I see a new live action show I'm like...meh. If it's a reality show I'm a little more interested, but when it cartoons...I love them. Though I don't like grime humor a lot of the time I still will give any show half a chance if I can.

I absolutely love cartoons, since I was a kid I've always preferred cartoons of all kinds over live action shows.

  14. Guys, I'm very sorry but I won't be here for a while. I just signed up today but now I have to go! :( :( :(

Basically, I really need to find a job and I'm being "grounded" from my mom's computer (Which I've had to use since mine broke down) so that I go out looking for a job more.

So until I can get a job and get my own computer again, I'm gonna be gone. But fear not! Discordian will return. It won't be more than a month or two for sure.

If I'm lucky I could be back in a couple weeks! Wish me lucky, bronies!

Just wanted to say farewell and give a toast!

*Raises Chocolate Milk of Glass* Here here!

  15. I've been playing more Wii lately than I usually do. Stick to PS2 and PS3 most of the time but been wanting to replay some games while continuing a couple others for Wii.

Baroque, for example, is a game that I've been playing more of lately.

  16. Yup, I love anime. Though there are times I don't watch any at all except the few I have on DVD and play more games and vice versa.

I have an opened Blassreiter Complete Series that I'm gonna start watching soon. I hope it's as good as it looks.

  17. http://www.mane6.com/

This is a freeware indie game that is being made by the developer mane6. They say that even though it will be freeware they are doing anything and everything possible to make it a great game and not half-ass it.

From the info given they really seem to be trying to make a fantastic game.

Anyone else gonna check it out?

It seems it'll have both local and online matches. :D
