I was upset that I wasn't contributing anything to the website and the brony community in general. So that's when I was like "Hey, you know what people with ears like? Music!" and that's how I decided I would make music for fellow bronies with ears. (Sorry jellyfish bronies).

I will post a thread once I am done with my first piece.

I've done quite a lot since I've joined this forum. More than a lot of people do, yet I still feel like there is more I can do. I feel like I have to help everyone with everything or else I'm not me, I'm not worth it. I don't know how to escape that feeling, I've been like this for a long time.

Anything anyone need help with? I'll do anything I can.

I had a very odd dream last night. It was very detailed and vivid so stay with me for this one. It was quite a sad dream though.

I dreamed that I was in some kind of tavern. I was surrounded by people, and someone approached me. They told me that a nearby town was in danger from some bandit camp, and that I needed to help them kill the bandits. I agreed to do so, and headed off with a group of adventurers.

We walked up to a cave, and there was some wood supports so I assumed this was the bandit camp they were referring to. One of the adventurers handed me a sword, and told me I'd need it. We walked inside, someone I didn't recognize went first. Inside I saw a fire, and several people standing around it.

We approached them, and engaged in combat. However, I was overpowered, and fell down. The bandits were killed, but the cave started to collapse. The others were leaving, and I tried to call for them to help me but I couldn't say anything. Then the cave collapsed around the entrance, leaving me stranded and alone.

I woke up at that point.

(I am vaguely recalling the commercial I saw last night for some kind of anti-aging cream. This is all accurate, I'm not fabricating any of the info, although I do paraphrase, I get the same point across.)

Do you look old and ugly? Worry no more. We have an accredited 'exclusive' doctor from France here to certify his anti-aging cream that's simply proven to work. It only costs $119. Who could resist?

Why does it warrant that price, and how does it work? Well I'll tell you.

The main ingredient in this ointment is the extract of an immortal melon (Not the innuendo, the actual fruit) that stays plump and juicy forever.

By using my cream you can too can be a superior breed of immortal fruit God human. This usually very expensive procedure can be yours if you call now for only 35 DOLLARZ.

Who would not want to be spliced with an immortal French Fruit for about half the price of buying a new video game? I'm sure millions of women worldwide already did and are very happy with the results.

Become a freak of nature by calling this number at night. Alone.

Hello, friends. I'm going to monologue about things. Things minor enough that they don't actually warrant doing anything about, but things I feel are important enough to mention anyway for anybody who cares to read them.

The one I'm talking about today is probably very familiar to a lot of you.

Why can't you block staff members in any way, shape, or form? I can understand the inability to block their PMs and such, but you should be able to block their signatures at the very least. Maybe even block their posts (Posts should show up in Canterlot Castle regardless of whether or not they're blocked). Even is such a feat isn't really possible it's not like they can't click the "read anyway" button when it's something that they have to read.

I know that you shouldn't be able to ignore the things they say as part of their job, but it annoys me that this immunity extends to all of their posts/blogs/etc. It certainly doesn't help the perception of the staff being high and mighty above everybody else.

Because when it comes down to it, there are staff members who don't actually do anything on the site that necessitates reading their posts, but they still have the immunity to blocking. In addition, you don't have to read a moderator's posts for them to do their jobs. If they need to take professional action they can either issue a warning or send a PM. I have never seen a moderator or Admin that says things crucial to the forums often enough that their posts should have to be shown 100% of the time.

The reason I don't bring it up anywhere but this blog is I'm pretty sure fixing the problem ranges somewhere between unlikely and impossible.

Alright, I'm done ranting for now.
  6. Harmonic Revelations
Hello, friends. Today I am reviewing a game that is very old, but a true classic. I'm talking about real-life. A while ago I had reviewed Real-Life but it has come to my attention that perhaps my last review was unfair so I decided to do a follow-up.

    Positives:
First of all, let's talk about the graphics. For a game that is so old that nobody alive today remembers it's release date (Although most of us have heard of the party thrown at the Midnight Release, called "The Big Bang") it has surprisingly impressive graphics. It still holds it's own against AAA titles released in modern times.

The HD skybox is very beautiful and the time cycle is very realistic. It's almost like you could reach out and touch the sky at night.

The audio is also very very good. It supports surround-sound and is very high quality. It also has the most extensive soundtrack I've ever seen in a game. There are some good tracks, and some that aren't so good. It's a mixed bag, and I think it has something for everybody.

The controls are very responsive, and many control combinations are possible. I have never once had unresponsive controls. It also beats any motion-sensing control I've ever seen. It's almost like all you have to do is have the will to move and you will.

The game is very emotional, I swear I cry when something bad happens to my character. It is a very involved game, and has some of the most well-refined roleplay environments I've ever seen. I almost feel like I AM my character. The lack of lag made it very immersive. I am impressed with the integrity of this game's servers compared to some other MMOs. It seems there are near limitless ways to interact with other players.

People have often rumored that eventually the servers are bound to crash or just be shut down due to server-costs, but there has been no evidence of such an event. Many players rumored the servers would close in 2012, but these rumors were either false, or the developers have pushed the shut-down date back. I disbelieve such claims, as players have been saying the servers would shut down since the very beginning.

The lack of micro-transactions and DLC has been a very positive thing, at least in my opinion. I am unsure how a Free-To-Play game manages to still profit with the system Real-Life uses, but whatever it is, I'm grateful for it's existence.

    Disadvantages:
Due to the sheer amount of disadvantages I shall put them into list form.

    Here they are:

    -No respawn
-AI for the "Government" class is very unintelligent
-Not enough class balancing, some players start with too much or too little currency
-Story mode is very unrefined and inconsistent between players
-While it may have been included for realism, crippling injuries are very inconvenient
-At points can be repetitive or boring
    -Morality system is broken
    -No checkpoints
    -No saving
    -Only randomly generated characters
-Can at times have very disturbing themes
-Graphical and audio glitches (Blindness and deafness, respectively), hopefully will be fixed in next patch.
-The Developers don't often contact the community
    -High difficulty curve

    Overall Summary:
The concept is great and the game is definitely a classic, but there are many things that need to be fixed before it is "Perfect". I hope the developers eventually release an update to address many of the issues players have been experiencing.

It's great graphics, audio, and server dependability have lead to this game being a classic enjoyed by every generation of mankind.

I have had a ton of fun playing this game and it's very addicting, I don't think I can stop playing.

Of course, this is just my opinion, leave your own thoughts on this game in the comments below.

    FINAL SCORE: 8.7/10

Here's another list. I know that the first one was short, mainly because I was tired and didn't feel like making it properly useful. As an apology for my laziness, I shall make this one much more in-depth for you fine folks. As you may be able to tell, I am a huge fan of obscure English words and such.

Adoxography - Adoxography means that you have very skillfully and formally written something even though it's nonsense/silly and doesn't deserve such proper treatment. An example of adoxography would be if you rewrote the lyrics to What Is Love to use the kind of language that Renaissance playwrights would use.

    Rustication - A vacation/trip into a rural area/the countryside.

    Zythepsary - A brewery

Hello friends, here are some rare Old English/Rare English words I use a lot that you might find interesting or want to use yourself. Many of these words are not really used anymore.

    Megamalophile - Love of apples.

Melliloquent - Skilled at being manipulative. Literally means "Honey Tongued".

Lethologica - When you forget the word for a specific thing. This term would be used for whenever something is "On the tip of your tongue".

    Raith - A quarter of a year.

Rectiphobia - A fear of being corrected

Recuse - Excusing a judge from their duties.

Roil - Making some muddy/blurred via stirring or shaking it.

Hello, friends, today I'm doing something I feel would be quite useful from my perspective.

As some of you know, my interview series has become part of the Poniverse Monthly News Letter. Well, I've decided to let you guys answer this poll to ultimately decide if there will be changes to how this series is conducted.

Like I said, this is not something that is mandatory on my part but I am legitimately interested in what you feel would be the best way to handle things. Please, answer the survey, and if you feel you wish to, leave a comment and elaborate, I feel that it would be incredibly helpful to get the user's views on this.

    Thank you for your time.

Hello, friends, today, as you can tell, I will be reviewing a free Flash game called Accelerator. It is a very fun game, definitely. When I first found it, my thoughts were "Eww, another avoiding game."

Another ominous black and white hallway. Weee...exciting.

However, all those thoughts were thrown aside as I spent several hours playing this very addicting and unique game with a somewhat simple concept. One of the things that stands out most about accelerator is that it's graphics are unique, it employs sharp contrast and bright colors (Some people who have played it said it bothers their eyes. It didn't bother mine, but please be advised.)

The gist of it is simple, you play as an androgynous white ball who apparently bursts into flames when it touches things.

While playing as this blob, you go through a kind of infinite obstacle course, however, you keep getting faster and faster, making it harder and harder. When it comes to obstacles, it's simple, don't touch anything.

But most important to remember is that anything red is an imminent danger to your well-being.

The game has quite simple controls, with the move moving your view around, and manuevering you, while W, A, S, and D do more sharp movements, I find that there is literally no time in the game when using WASD is actually useful.

You have a little cursor that appears at the center of your vision. I found this useful on the three difficulties where it appears because you know that as long as your cursor is pointing at a open path and not a wall or obstacle, you'll survive.

Another thing you can do is rotate your vision by pressing/holding e or q. Once you're going very fast, just holding spin could probably give you motion sickness. Although, once again, I did not experience these symptoms.

    There are four different difficulties:

Easy-You're just moving straight with basic obstacles.

Medium-Same as easy but with split paths thrown in the mix.

Hard-Same as medium and easy but also has curves thrown in the mix.

Harder-More curves, also, you no longer have a cursor to tell you where you're going.

Anyways, over all, Accelerator is a fun and interesting game I would recommend you check out if you're not epileptic or something. The game really tests your reflexes and requires concentration

Personally, I found myself putting on some Rammstein music, kicking, and spending a good five-six hours just playing this. It's highly addictive and a blast if you're looking for something entertaining to do.

    I would rate this game a 9.8/10.

(Warning: contains high contrast colors and fast moving shapes)

    Play it for yourself.

  11. Harmonic Revelations
So today I'm going to be reviewing the song "Dalai Lama" by Rammstein. Personally, it's one of my favorites, so I might be a bit biased.

Here's the synopsis of the plot of the song:

So here's what I like about this song: It's creepy.

    Here's the creepiest part:

    Komm her, bleib hier
    Wir sind gut zu dir
    Komm her, bleib hier
    Wir sind Brüder dir

Among the absolute most creepy lyrics I've ever heard sung. It's very atmospheric. I also like how it's not too heavy that the vocals are drown out but at the same time it's not as light as say as, Amour, or Ohne Dich.

Like some of Rammstein's other songs (Such as Buck Dich and Du Hast) it has a somewhat repetitive instrumental, but that only adds to the experience for me. I find it to be a very enjoyable song.

If I had to rate this one out of 10, I'd give it a 9.2.

Take a listen for yourself here:

Also, for an accurate English translation, click here.

    Bonus Info:

The song is about an airplane crashing, but it's called Dalai Lama. You may wonder why. The reason is that when this song was released, the Dalai Lama at the time had a phobia of flying.

Also added bonus, this song draws some inspiration from Erlkönig

    ____________

Tell me in the comments what you'd rate the song, what you like, and what you dislike.

(Also on an added note, I'm planning on doing these reviews by artist, so I'm going to a bunch of Rammstein songs, then I'm going to do Daft Punk songs, then Rise Against songs and I'm undecided on what to aftewards)
  12. Harmonic Revelations
Amelia. These past few years have granted me the ability to see things I never would have thought possible, the ability to see in realms other than our own. Yet all I can see is you. I know that the closer I get to understanding this connection, the closer we are to being together forever.

But who will be the one to bring us together? The one thing I am sure of is that I cannot succeed alone, at least, that's what the text has been telling me. I write to you know, as I stare closely at the book. I spend long nights working on this journal, in the hopes that someday you can actually read it.

But the book, the book taunts me. It sits there, I know it holds the secret, the key I need, the last piece of the puzzle, but it will not give up such secrets easily. It was forged by beings beyond our level of comprehension, beyond our level of thinking and understanding. To them, our minds are like wet tissue paper, easily folded and bent to serve their twisted purposes.

These beings, the Darkness as I shall call them, are however my only hope of ever reaching you, but even with their generosity and grace, I still have my doubts.

The book reaffirms me that travel between these dimensions is possible, but, I still need someone to do the task at hand.. I will continue looking for somebody to fulfill this roll for us, my love.

    ____________________________________________

I set the doll aside. I couldn't cut it up. The thought crossed my mind that having such a rage towards an inanimate object was probably not the healthiest thing for me mentally. But I felt as though I was losing my mind, something had changed in the inner workings of my mind but I could not figure out what. As I touched the doll, it simply fell over, just as it would make sense to. The room had stopped glowing, and all the mannequins were in their original positions.

The ax was in my hand, it did not have any marks of use. Was it all in my head? Was this place getting to me? That would make more sense than any assumption that I was attacked by a bunch of wooden mannequins. That's it, it must simply be in my head. I looked at the doll on the chair, and noticed something I had not noticed about it before, it's arms were outstretched, and something was in it's hand.

I got closer to investigate, and noticed that it had a golden ring in it's hand. The ring shined and glistened, it looked as if it had been newly forged, the gold still looked slightly heated, in fact. I reached out and touched it, the ring was unnaturally warm, it felt as though it had been in somebody's hand for a long time, which was clearly not the case if it was with this doll.

I examined the ring closer and noticed the name on it. "Jacob McCoy", that's impossible, that's my name! Out of disbelief, I dropped the ring on the ground. I wasn't married and no such ring had existed prior, this would mean that somebody was following me. The ring fell to the ground, producing a clanking noise. As it hit the ground, the lamps went out again.

"Not this again." I said audibly. I suspected that I was possibly slipping back into some kind of hallucination, but it felt so weird. On the other hand, I had serious doubts that crazy people knew they were crazy. This thought worried me, for my own safety, and for Jessica's.

Suddenly, the lights came back on again. The first thing I noticed was that the walls now looked different, they were in better condition, yet it appeared worse at the same time. In the sense that now it looked newer, yet at the same time, it felt off. Like it shouldn't be. You know that feeling you get of confusion when you look at a simulation of a 4D object? This was exactly that feeling.

In an attempt to dismiss the fear, I approached the wall and touched it. As I did so, a crashing noise came from directly behind me. In fact, it sounded close enough that whatever caused it could easily have almost hit me. I turned around quickly, to see that the mannequins were all directly behind me, pointing at me. They were close enough that I almost hit one's finger when turning around.

The site was incredibly disturbing, and I decided that leaving that room was for the best. So I hastily made my way to the living quarters door. I turned the knob and swung the door open, heading inside and closing it. I breathed a sigh of relief to be away from the mannequins.

This room was normal enough looking. There was a large double bed on the left corner away from the door, and a crib on the close right side. Shelves lined the walls and there was a table with two chairs in the middle of the room. On the table was a book. I picked it up, and opened it.

Inside was a fairy-tale style story. It talked about a man who lived in a cabin up in the woods. He had a gallery of art where he stored one painting, and many empty frames. The painting was of incredible and life-like beauty. The painting was of a woman with soft blonde hair and green eyes, the man fell in love with this painting, he would lock himself in the gallery for hours and talk to the painting.

One day this man was in his living quarters when there was a crashing noise behind him. When he turned around, there was a music box. He picked it up and twisted the handle, a sweet melody played out and he found himself in the gallery, but something was different, it was much larger, it was like the gallery itself had been ripped out and tossed into a ravine, it was now surrounded by pitch-black cave.

A voice called out to the man from the depths of the darkness, The voice told this man that he could be with his love forever, and bring her to life. To bring her into the mortal realm, however, he would need to lure and trap someone in the realm his love was currently trapped in. He agreed, and found himself back in his room, now with a book in his possession.

The book had immense power, it contained divine and demonic secrets both, it was powerful. He spent years alone in the cabin, simply reading the book and following it's instructions. They say that the secrets contained therein drove him mad, and no one ever saw him again.

I was about to put the book down, but a key fell out from between the pages. I picked it up, the key was white, with the name "Jacob" inscribed upon it. As I picked it up, I felt a chill run down my spine, I shrugged it off and turned to leave. Behind me were three mannequins with human mouths. They were in a formation in front of the door. The two on the side were on their knees, in a position that reminded me of mourning. The one in the middle was standing up, in a praying position. I pushed the mannequins out of the way, their skin felt warm, like they were alive.

The door was locked, so I took the ax and swung it right through the door, which collapsed as it struck it. In the room with the doll again, I noticed one major difference. Eyes were drawn all over the walls in what appeared to be pure white chalk, yet they slightly glowed. They were disturbing me greatly, but I pressed forward, I found the eyes to be less disturbing than the mannequins, so the choice to go back of press forward was obvious to me.

I walked into the room and noticed that the pupils of the eyes were following me, this was unnatural.

I felt I knew what I had to do, I turned towards the gallery door and stuck the key in. I turned it, and it clicked.
  13. Harmonic Revelations
I swung wildly at the doll. As the ax made contact with the doll, it fell limp on the ground. A black mist came out of the doll and surrounded me, it felt like it was seeping into my skin. I felt tainted, unclean. Suddenly everything started flashing white several times. I felt dizzy and could not keep my balance.

Then I jerked awake. I was in the basement, ax in my hand. Bookcases and tables untouched. I stood up, I felt good. The icy cold grip of the ax was comforting, the darkness of the murky basement made me feel at home. Honestly, I felt absolutely blissful. But I knew what I wanted to do, and started laughing wildly. I slowly walked up the staircase, with the ax behind my back.

As I walked up, the thoughts filled my head. My family, my friends. They would all have their turns.

I gently yanked the door open, to see Jessica sitting there next to the fire. I held the ax firmly behind my back, I was grinning widely and breathing heavily. I started to approach Jessica.

"Jessica, I want you to play a game with me, the game is simple."

Amelia was beauty in itself. It's purest form. She was beyond the beauty of all others, I spent many days in that workshop. I needed her to see, I needed her to hear, what I had to say. I wouldn't be lonely anymore.

    _____________________________________________________

When I woke up, I had a pounding headache. I sat up, and found myself in the middle of the basement. None of the bookshelves or tables were flipped over, and the ax was firmly in my hand. The handle still felt unnaturally cold, especially considering that the basement itself was quite warm.

However, this did not concern me. Whatever had happened, I would not let it repeat, so I started to head up the stairs. The stairs once more made the sickening creaking noise. It sounded much louder than it should have, that couldn't have just been my imagination.

I finally reached the top of the stairs, and opened the door.

Jessica was nowhere to be found. She must have wandered off, that was the only explanation that made any sense. I would continue looking for her. I looked around the room, and noticed something I had not seen before. An odd glistening in the fire.

I grabbed the chimney shovel from next to the fireplace and pulled out the glistening object. It revealed itself to be a key. I looked closely at it, and could make out the letters "W-R--H-P" Filling in the rest on my own, I turned around and stuck the key into the workshop's lock. I heard a clicking sound as I turned it.

"Jessica, this isn't funny." I called out, half-laughing, but worried on the inside. It was like I was only half-playing off her absence.

I swung the door open, revealing what I assumed to be the workshop. There were assorted tools, workbenches and the like, standard for this kind of room, but what caught my eye was an altar in the middle of the room. On top of it, there was a book.

I grabbed the book, and began to read it. It was apparently the journal of somebody named Joseph Kalin. Most of it appears to be torn out, oddly. Only a small passage remains, some of it is not legible.
"It has been said by many throughout history that the only source of darkness and evil exists in---- of --. I have ----- been one to dis---- this claim, but it has become abundantly clear that our understanding of what is real and not, just isn't accurate. Unseen forces lurk in the shadows. I am both anxious and ambitious that these forces are the only ones who can bring me and Amelia together in the gallery"

I looked at the book in my hand. "Unseen Forces?", "The Gallery?", none of it made any sense at all to me. Just as I was about to put the book back down, something fell out. It make a clinking noise as it hit the ground. I picked it up, it was what appeared to be a pendant of some sort.

As I grabbed it, voices echoed in my head.

"You let her die. She cried for you, but you did not come."

"You left her , YOU killed her."

"How does it feel to know that you'll never see her again? She'll never forgive you, Jacob."

My head began to pound even harder. However, just as it seemed that the pain would render me incapacitated, the pendant glowed in my hand, and the voices stopped. I ran out of the workshop, slamming the door behind me.

I backed away slowly, and hit something that I either hadn't noticed or just hadn't been there before. a ladder leading to the upper floor. I put my hands on it and began to ascend.

Once I had opened the trap door and came into the attic, I noticed a few features that both confused and disturbed me. There were four doors. One labelled "The Gallery", one labelled "Living Area". one labelled "Kitchen/Storeroom" and one that had a label too worn out to read. All along the edges of the room were mannequins that were positioned to appear like they were screaming or in agony, a few even appeared to be crying.

In the middle of the room was a lone chair with a doll with black beady eyes and a piece of paper on it. I examined the paper.

    It read:

"They don't understand Amelia, they want to keep us apart. I won't let them."

I put the paper down, and realized that the doll was gone.

Suddenly, a loud cackling noise surrounded me, and all of the lamps went out at once.

Suddenly, I heard a voice. The voice sounded somewhat like a little girl.

"I want you to play a game with me. The game is simple, if we catch you, you have to stay with us and have fun forever."

A laughing resounded through the room.

Suddenly a dim red light filled the room. The mannequins had mouths with razor-sharp teeth in them. Suddenly, what happened was something I knew to be impossible, they sprang to life and lunged at me. Using the ax I had picked up earlier, I started swinging wildly at the mannequins, their wooden limbs came flying off in all directions.

I could hear maniacal laughing, the walls were glowing different colors in such a way that I was disoriented.

Suddenly a chill went down my spine, as I quickly turned around and saw the doll itself, breathing heavily and grinning widely. The black beady eyes were highly disturbing. However, it did not move or lunge. I figured I had two options, I could chop it up, or simply move it somewhere else.

    Hello, friends.

Many of you have heard that in the recent years, a major environmental issue has been pollution. Don't worry about it, your friend Harmonic is here to set the record straight.

For example, pollution does not "Kill" species, we simply take species clinging to life and simply smidge a little butter on the edge, letting nature take it's course. In addition, the lack of these old species makes room for our new species. Who may or may not have too many/few limbs.

Of course, this is good news for species who have in the past been seen as unattractive and unsightly.

    Am I cool yet guys?

    "No"

So yes while we may lose some unnecessary life along the way, the ends justify the means, do they not? Our magnificent pollution is able to turn the water a varying array of beautiful colors, like brown, green, or orange.

Another good thing about pollution is that it solves our resource problem. Once animals have been fired from life they leave extra resources for humanity to use to build more factories. This is good for several reasons, such as:

    A.) More factories

    B.) More factories

    and

    C.) More factories

If you do not see why this is good you are not industrial enough.

This is the face of progress.

Enjoy the vast amounts of clear land left from the disposal of those tiring trees, bask in the radioactive and intense sunlight. Sure the O-Zone layer is gone but O-Zone only had so many good songs in the first place. Just apply vigorous amounts of sunscreen which can also be conveniently produced in our factories.

    Industry onwards, my friends.

Well, I am getting back into writing, and for this reason, I have been writing and updating stories a lot recently. However, on a related note, my younger cousin lives with me and for this reason, once his school year starts up I have to drive him to and from school, I then have one less free pair of hands, so I then have to do things like maintaining the house, cooking, other stuff I normally make my brother and cousin do because I'm lazy, etc, and my schedule just becomes really hectic, so I'm just going to tell you now that once I start having to do that, which will be starting approximately the end of this month, my updates may come around less often and/or be shorter.

To clear things up, this doesn't mean I'm going to be active for LESS of the day, it just means I'll be active for different parts of it.

To those of you who don't know, Halo 2 Vista was a release of Halo 2 for the PC that like Halo CE, has officially supported modding tools. Unlike Halo CE, the people who ported Halo 2 to the PC failed drastically to make it compatible with a lot of common place modding, like making new tags.

Basically it's that Bungie wanted it to be like Halo CE but the porters failed drastically to format it correctly. So modding it is very hard, but I found a way.
That did not stop yours truly from finding a way to have fun. I was going to post a video but Youtube and FRAPs are apparently co-conspirators against me.

I will post screenshots here on my blog periodically so if this kind of thing interests you just hit the follow button and you'll be informed of all of my messing around.

Like this Rocket Launcher that has unlimited ammo and shoots the same beam as the Scarab Tank.

Or this Scorpion tank that shoots sniper bullets instead of machine gun bullets.

I have the charged plasma pistol shooting out banshees but it was hard to use only screenshots to show it in action.

    More is to come.

The numbers, what do they mean? I can't sleep now, they beckon me. They whisper to me yet incomprehensibly. The more I try to focus on them, the blurrier they become in my mind. Yet they've told me all there is to now, but there is no room to retain it, no, only the numbers remain. They live in the numbers, you know? The ones from beyond. They retain inaudible screams on their charred, forsaken faces.

    I only know one thing:

    Follow the steps to salvation.

But what are the steps to salvation?

    _______________
    (Several pages later)

    Do you see them too?

They inaudibly scoff at my attempts to resist. They are held captive in my mind, and they want out, I have no way to refuse.

They have showed me the signs, the bird, the arch, and the sword. Those are the steps, but I can't decipher them. Whenever I try to think about and decide what they mean, my mind screeches to a halt, I develop a severe pain, and a loud screeching noise is created.

The doctors tell me only I can hear them, but I knew that, the ones from beyond told me.

They say they don't exist, that's where they're wrong.
  19. Harmonic Revelations
Today is a Tuesday, a good day in my book, alas I would not settle for any other day to fall on this point in time. I have thought about my passions, and my worries. Worries are not to be confused with fear, for to fear is to show weakness, I try to destroy weaknesses whenever and wherever I can.

However, the day has pursued my mind and left it in a state of enlightenment, and people have been looking at me as if I was speaking in tongues. Perhaps I should not blame them, they have not seen what I have seen, or heard what I have heard. Their minds were not as malleable as mine, I could withstand harsh psychological challenges.

Maybe I was strong, maybe I was just too insane to realize the pain that I felt inside, but either way, it does not matter. The clock strikes the numerals, counting away the hours, and yet, time does not exist, it is merely a construct of human creation to explain the progression of events. This analogy is useful when describing many social situations wherein no inherent logic exists but it is society's self-imposed standards that lead to the result.

Insanity is one such standard. People do not entirely understand that sometimes, the insane person can be right. They could be the most knowledgeable and wise person in the room, since the word insanity describes the feelings of the people around them and not any condition that they actually hahve.

While some wish to understand the faces in their religious texts, they are fools. They cannot understand such things until they first understand the face in the mirror. The mirror can reveal a lot about a person, the unique thing about your reflection is that it does not react to anything you don't, somehow I find that this is a fitting metaphor for the real world.

Wherein nothing happens unless you react to it. Everybody exists in a different reality, because reality is entirely how you perceive things. Somebody's red could be your yellow, you just don't know, there are no words that can describe it. And since you only ever live through a single person's perspective, you never can understand it. For that reason, humans are isolated creatures.

Many problems people face are self-induced, but that is not the only type of problem that plagues people. A darkness seeps across the land, metaphorically, devouring people in sorrow and bleakness in unfathomable ways. Their entire lives seemingly turning against them.

People ask me how I solve these problems, the simple answer is that I don't. I merely let them coexist with me, and when they interfere with my plans, I snap their neck with the knowledge of their inner workings that I have accrued.

Much like a platypus, life is your greatest enemy. Also like Platypuses, life is an abominable mish-mash of things that seemingly deserve to be as far apart as physically possible.

I will continue in volume 2.

So, I have compiled a list of some Skyrim mods I personally recommend. These are just mods that I have enjoyed and opinion may vary. If you're into mods extensively you have probably seen some or all of these, but they are still worth a look.

I will add more to this list as time goes on.

This list is not in any particular order. Although I will saw that the first one on the list is highly recommended for all those who love heavy armor.

Prerequisite-SKSE (Skyrim Script Extender) the successor to the OBSE for Oblivion. It is recommended as it adds much functionality to the game and most large mods require it.

1.) Heavy Oblivion-Style Plated Imperial Soldiers

I loved this mod because it makes the Legion look much more fearsome and far less ridiculous. Plus, it is fully-closed including the helmet, which I always prefer, personally.

    2.) Stormcloaks with Sleeves

This mod simply replaces the main part of the Stormcloak and guard armor. It does not modify much, it just adds sleeves to add to the realism. The mesh file that it replaces the normal armor with is official and was included but not used by the game by default.

    3.) Build Your Own Home

This allows you to customize your very own home. It looks absolutely amazing and it is worth downloading even if you have the Hearthfire DLC. The locale is beautiful and this is one of my favorite home mods.

    4.) Frostfall (An immersion mod)

This mod adds some elements of survival to the game, while not being too tedious, it was mentioned in PC Gamer Magazine (UK). I like the immersion it adds to the game.
