Woah! I never expected so many responses for such a simple question! But yes, You all make interesting, true statements. I am so there when it comes to a cup-o-coffee, hunting, rain on the roof, sleep, hot showers, etc. So many things we take for granted... But, if we don't notice these things... How do we know we enjoy them? The mind works in mysterious ways... 

I really enjoy a fresh, warm cup of coffee while I'm eating breakfast, and during classes at school.

Also, sitting in front of a fireplace, just watching or sitting around a campfire with my friends after a day of either fishing or hunting.

As I said to one of the other members who commented... Coffee is amazing! Its really good at 6 am when  I have to be on the bus in 30 minutes. And hunting is great too! since squirrel is the only thing open right now... I wen't hunting for them! Got 6 with my 12 gauge! 

There's a lot of little things that I do enjoy, but my thing would be coffee. Nothing suites a beautiful morning like the fragrance and taste of a fresh cup of coffee.

YES! A Coffee lover! WOOHOO. Personally I don't like Starbucks, but I do enjoy a home made brew! I find it complements the best at 6 am when I need to get ready to go to school...  

That which is most easily enjoyed is that which is most easily overlooked.

 

Personally, nothing makes me feel smaller than space. Yes, I know...space isn't little, but how small we are compared to the rest of the universe is something we all take for granted. We never think about big it actually is. Mostly because if we were ever really able to comprehend the sheer size of it all, our brains would implode. So I love that humbling feeling of tininess when I stargaze or watch the sunrise. Nothing reminds me of how small I am when I see such a sight. And if I'm that small then how small are my problems compared to the vast expanse of space? 

 

WARNING: REALLY BIG NUMBERS AHEAD! If math isn't your thing, I suggest skipping the following paragraph.

 

I mean, I think a friend of mine lives far away from me because she lives in Germany. Give or take, that's 5,000 miles from me. And then we think that our cars have traveled a long way when they hit 100,000 miles. But those are nothing when you get to astronomical units (93 million miles) and lightyears (5.879 trillion miles)...and then when you think our Milky Way galaxy is roughly 110,000 lightyears across (146.7 quadrillion miles)...and then you consider that certain objects like the Tadpole Galaxy are 400 million lightyears from us. That's about 2,351,600,000,000,000,000,000 (that is 2.3516 sextillion) miles from Earth...Personally, I can't even fathom 1 million of something, let alone 2 sextillion of it. That's like 2,351,600 million billion. 

 

Anyway, I'm just throwing out all these numbers partly because space always makes me feel small and, for some reason, I love that. Also because I love numbers. But when I think about the unfathomable vastness of space, those big problems I have to deal with suddenly become insignificant

Im surprised I kept up with that! Because normally I hate math and do no good at it... But I have found that applying math to some thing you find interesting usually helps you grab hold of it. And yes... Space is a very good "little thing". one more thing... Try to wrap your head around the fact that  the Universe is ENDLESS... I can't

I am so there! The Admiral loves his beauty sleep! I often find myself sleeping whenever I get a chance...Home, Night, Math Class, and a couple other times I should not fall asleep. 

Have you ever noticed its the little things that you love most? Like how when you pull warm clothes out of the dryer... You just have to put that shirt on and savor the warmth? Or When you make cookies you must take just a little bit of raw cookie dough. Maybe its completely different than what I just said.... What little things do you enjoy the most?

Every mare and gentlecolt here are telling the truth about Hasbro. They care about our money, because that is what puts food on the table and helps each writer in My Little Pony get their weekly paycheck needed to survive in this world. Lauren Faust made a difference on making/helping Hasbro make this show into a worldwide fandom phenomenon. We make all of the art, music, games, everything that makes this fandom stronger every day. Making a change won't matter, unless you have support. Not like we can boycott MLP, but if we stop buying their merchandise and everything that Hasbro produces the change will finish Step 1.

Each of these fine Mares and Gentlecolts make a very good point. A company is not interested in what they create or what their creation creates, such as the Brony Culture. What a company truly cares about is profit, investments, and sales. But Lauren Faust did go against Hasbro for a certain period of time. She was more into the fan data base than most people know. She actually named the background ponys from ideas on forums. She saw on a forum that people started calling that funny eyed pony Derpy... So she named the character Derpy. She also did the same with DJ PoN 3 and Octavia. But as you have noticed.. Since Mrs.Faust stepped down, Hasbro saw an opening to start cracking down on the culture. Because much money can be made out of winning a lawsuit. And more money can be made by halting the production of stuff like PonyKart and Fighting is Magic, because Hasbro can turn around and start making their own versions of these games if they want to. And then they would charge money. Its all about corporate greed Lieutenant OneStepUp. You should change your name to Lt OneStepUp... We could do this rank thing together!

There are very many reasons why MLP has such an impression on me. My Little Pony is probably one of the greatest things to have happened to me, and I owe it to several elements of it, that tie in with several elements of my own person.

 

Being born in 1996, I always felt ever so slightly envious of those [particularly in picturesque-commercial US] who were born before the 1990's - because they were old enough to allow more appreciation for coming technologies and the like. They had a lot of great-quality TV shows and games to enjoy at an age that allowed them to do so effectively, and I always see these older people loving their nostalgia for different shows - Kenan and Kel was one of them, Hey Arnold (and most of Cartoon Network) was another. Now, I never lived that sort of green-lawn sunny-skies cool-cartoon sort of life, I was born quite a bit later and I've always wanted to have been born earlier and in the US so I could be part of that collective. My Little Pony is thus extremely appealing to me because it pretty much embodies it, and for the first time ever I can enjoy it as it comes along with everyone else - and I've thoroughly loved doing so.

 

Now, for the second reason you'll have to excuse a very sugar-coated story:

 

I used to have stupidly severe depression. Couldn't leave the house, go to school, couldn't talk to anyone because I felt as if growing up with Asperger's had set me up to have a screwed up life. Yeah, I'm past that now. My point is that I used to feel stuck in a pit without any hope. So initially, this show worked as a way to get my mind off things (but so did a lot of other things) and as above a strong resemblance to one of my ideals. And while I thought it was a great show, I don't think my full appreciation was there until I watched Party Of One. Remember at the point of watching it I was still feeling like shit - and when I watched Pinkie Pie in the depths of despair as she was in that episode, before very swiftly and easily becoming happy again, it made a real impression. And considering it was a little kid's show that I had loved just as a show, I thought "Am I missing something?" So I went back and re-watched every scene that had Pinkie Pie in it - and at that moment, something clicked in me. That something... it was the combination of that previous ideal, the realisation of how long I'd spent away from cartoons and how amazing they were, the realisation that you can harvest real life experiences from the most unexpected of places. And all at once, taking up that something and combining it with the applied lesson in Party Of One (to never give up hope), my life really did take a turn for the better. My former depression? Dissolved, and I owe all of it to this show, and to that one character in it.

 

 

Well, that's why this show has special meaning to me. I'll never be able to thank MLP enough for what it's done to make my life head in a better direction. The day I stop being a fan of this show is the day I stop being my true self.

In someways I know how you feel. I am growing up with ASD too. And because of the fact I have it... I always felt different. But I braved through the worst of it... and MLP helps.  

A very good reason too. Im only Fourteen. And I hate Spongeboob, Farily Odd Parents, etc... Do to the absolute stupidity of the shows. Why can't everything be more like MLP... Wait... i answered that in my own rant up above...

Me... An artist! Hardly! I actually worked on these with my friend... Whom gave me drawing advice. But overall im happy with the out come! Share your opinion! Also.. If you have already read this... I am a thinking person by nature, I am not known for keeping my mouth shut when a problem arises, you will not silence what is right and what is spoken for. For in this world, problems grow like a wildfire with an endless fueling source...Because that source is endless. The human race has fueled a fire that has burned and blazed since the beginning of time. In this world that we now live, problems can be seen, heard, and felt, yet no one does anything about it. Also the fact that we will look for a reason to fight, instead of standing up for the people in trouble. Why? Why do we fight? In the end one is victorious and the other is put down to the lowest level possible or even dead. Why do we kill and fight? Why do we pick fights instead of standing up for the persons in the fight? These things no one can answer. In this world there will be no peace. There will only be war, fear, and hatred. Our place is determined by who we are how strong we are physically and mentally. The effect we can make on the people around us. Kind of like how a countrys worth is determined by how big their military is, how deep their resources go. But I know that people only look down on others through their own arrogance and stupidity. I have realized that people are the most dangerous thing in existance. Because entire nations have been leveled by belief and strive for wealth and power. But we have no choice not to be among those people. And that a true friends worth can only be determined by their loyalty, honesty,kindness, the laughter they share with you, the generosity between you, and then that magical little spark that holds you together. For true friends will never leave you and you would never leave them. That is why I love the show and wish I could be whisked off to Equestria. Because in that fair land arguments and altercations never become fights, they become resolved situations. Also when some pony is in trouble no one stands around and goes "I see the problem, but I don't wan't to help. For its just giving me more work." No! They help each other and pull one another out of these bad situations. But not here sadly... Here men and woman have the nerve and the care-less attitude to drive a fire of hatred that has festered and broiled. And after reading this... I wan't you to look at yourself and wonder "have I been true to myself and others. Was I there for that person in their time of need?" If not... Find a way to help them now... And as you can see this show holds more than entertainment value to me. It means much more. It gives me a clear slate in which I may point out the problems in our world. It gives me ideas on how to act and respond towards our worlds so called "Pandemic of Hatred" that has forever flowed through history. The show provides time in which I may slip away and dis-appear in plain sight, to ponder the wonders of what a whole and united world may be. It gives me time to even escape my own problems and find their solutions. And on top of that seeing characters that I find I can relate to, by seeing my qualitys and values in many a characters, helps me see how to solve problems by looking at how they solve their problems as not just the Mane 6... But as in-separable friends whom care and love each other until the sweet end. This is why the show has meaning to me...

WOOHOO! That was a good movie! The guns, the gasoline fires, the AA-12! That rocked! The movie is about a group of for-hire mercenaries that go all around the world to do the Gov'ts dirty work. They work together in a 6 man team usually. In the first movie they are sent to a island called Villania to remove a dictator. But the dictator is not the real target... A rouge CIA agent is. This agent is profiting off the dictators drug smuggling operation... And the dictator cannot get rid of the agent. The US Gov't realizes out of morality and reputation, that they can't send in the SEALs to remove one of their own. So they hire... The Expendables! Now go watch the movie! And stop reading this... You probably hurt your eyes by now!

Very good. I enjoyed that! It would have been awesome if it was a full sized fan-fic though. But over all the spelling, grammar, etc was better than some of the stuff I have read. Good Job! I APPROVE THIS FAN FIC WITH THE ROYAL CANTERLOCK!

If anyone touches a scale on his little head I will destroy you! Wait... Oops, wrong situation. let me reword this...Ahem! If anyone butchers the show or changes it, I will nuke hasbro! (A saying of one of my good friends "When in doubt... NUKE!" and Murphy's laws of combat "When in doubt, call in an air strike!") I think this fits! Heck I would spray paint the cutie marks of the characters on the plane before I bombed them! hehehe dangerous thoughts... I like...

I recently watched Quarantine 2, Terminal. And I have to say... Damn! i should not have watched it at 2:00am... But overall, it is a very well put to together Zombie movie. The graphics are spot on, it has realistic action and zombies. The plot line is, A man pretending to be a normal passenger on an airline, but he is actually a Bio-Terrorist who created a virus that turns people into zombies. The way the virus spreads is by animals and infected persons(they have to be bitten to become a zomb...) The phony teacher brings infected lab rats on the plane and a really fat guy gets bit. Later on the flight he loses sanity and starts beating people, But he is restrained to a seat and knocked out. But later on a flight attendant falls on fat man during bad turbulence... And he wakes up full zombie, and bites half the attendant's face off. The rest of the passengers pin fat man in the restroom while the pilots do an emergency landing and park un-authorized at a boarding terminal. All the passengers get off the plane with a baggage driver who is now stuck with the group of people that landed. During this time the airport locks down the entire terminal, No one in and no one out... they are trapped. And from then on fatty manages to bite and infect 5 other people. And from here on out its all about fighting for life. If you want the rest of the story... you ain't gonna find it  here! go watch it! But over all. This movie is amazing if your into horrors with zombies. The acting is spot on, the infections seem perfectly real, the gun shots, etc. So if your into it... look into it, its worth your time!

Yes! I'm the new President of the My Little Pony fan club at school! I came up with the idea, submitted a form and found a teacher sponsor! Now once it gets approved I will run my own club! I was told by my sponsor teacher that she also runs FBLA(Future Business Leaders of America) So she won't be able to help out now and then... So I would be 100% in-charge of the club! WOOHOO! Also... I wan't your opinion MLP Forums members! I need help setting up presentations for the club and good sites to visit (The school filters block this forum though) But give me the name of some of the sites that you think would be awesome to help support my new club.
