I recently saw the new movie Battleship. And I think its one of the best movies ever! The alien spacecraft, the battles, the detail is amazingly well done. In fact the movie was made by the same people who created the Transformers movies...No Surprise There! All the scenes are acted perfectly(no over acting or embellishing.) The only less believable parts are when they are on the USS Missouri a.k.a The Mighty Moe. and they drop the anchor and make the battleship do a 180 on a dime. And the last part that isn't very believable is when they find live ordnance on the Mighty Moe, which is 70 years old and was converted into a floating museum. But thats Hollywood for you. So in the end I recommend this movie to everyone who loves they Navy, Warfare, Aliens, Humor, Action, and Destruction!

North Korea does anything stupid it's their untrained army against the entire world. China only supports them with trade. They are quite critical of their antics for the most part. No matter how many personnel they have they are essentially a very large militia that could not in a million years take America.

Whoa! Hold on! North Korea IS allies with China. And even though China's military is not well trained or well supplied, they have massive numbers. And if China and Korea teamed up...WE would be screwed. We can't take on that many troops by ourselves, And thats when our Allies come help...or not. But the possibility of them winning an invasion teamed up like that could be likely. But WE don't only have a US Military...we have the worlds largest guns to person numbers. In the US guns out number citizens 9-1. And armed citizens can be very dangerous. So the possibility of us winning and them winning could easily be 50-50.

I love pokemon! but I prefer to create my own characters. such as making my sister into a pokemon card. i think its funny. what about you.

I have been reading reviews on the new movie Red Dawn. I also had a friend see it recently...Its horrible. The character acting is obviously way over done, its anti-climactic, predictable, and un-believable. I mean come on... North Korea invading the USA, Please! Came you come up with a better idea like China! North Korea does not have the military, numbers, strength, training, weapons, transportation, etc to even come close to invading the USA. And if North Korea did parachute onto the beaches of California, they would probably hit the ground, immediately put their hands up and say "I SURRENDER, Please take me to the nearest McDonalds!" plus the director was a stuntman for 30 years, and its believed he should have stuck with the job. So in essence the movie is not worth seeing. 

I could be true, for when I read the summary, somthing bad is gonna happen to Twilight. I won't spoil it, I'll just leave it at that.

I feel sorry for you bro... You don't deserve to be shot down like that, especially by your parents. My parents know, and they support it with out a second thought. And my friends are like that to. Now, how to watch it. with out going on youtube... try Bronyland. I use that site all the time. It is very well built and easy to use. I you want to join, well go right ahead! In fact you may see my posts. I post for EVERYTHING! But in total I don't know what to say about the situation. I'm sure that Equestria has at some point been at war but it was probably waged with swords and spears (and some magic).

-The cursing makes you appear immature

-The whole behavior runs against established canon (the ponies know that strife creates winter)

-It needs serious spell-checking and looking at sentence structure

 

If you want to write a military-style fic, more power to ya but the whole setting does not fit wth MLP.

 

So? I've read plenty of fan fics like what im typing. and they were very good to. You ever read Griffon the Griffon on Fimfiction.net? Amazing story... And similar to this,and is the best Fan Fic I've ever read. And its called fan FICTION for a reason. You can think of anything you could possibly want, and make a story of it. And the cursing makes me look immature?!?!?! Please...If cursing makes people immature, then all people who have cursed before must be immature, from politicians, parents, ANYONE. But no it doesn't make you look immature, unless you are dropping the F-Bomb over and over again for no apparent reason. And now to spelling and sentence structure and spelling. I put this here because im no good with this kind of stuff. I have GREAT ideas, but don't have a talent of putting them into word form. So thats why im passing my idea onto others who have this talent.

HELP ME! I am thinking of making a Fan-Fic about how Equestria was once at war with a different race from another planet. And that Equestria had a highly established military, similar to that that of the USA. And how during the war there was mining operations going on to find the proper elemental gems to create the elements of harmony to fit into the princesses crowns. Finally when the elements are put together and used, they banish the other race to their home planet forever, establish harmony, eliminate all memory of the war, and rid the world of all weapons accept for the Royal Guards spears and armor. Thus creating the land we know as Equestria.

Here is my start, but I want some one else with Fan Fic experience to make the story. And by the way it does not need to be clean. Curse words! use em, just dont overboard on them. And by the way all creds go to you. just dont forget to mention my name. i did think of it after all!

FIX IT

 

A husband is at home watching a football game when his wife interrupts, "Honey, could you fix the light in the hallway? It's been flickering for weeks now."

 

He looks at her and says angrily, "Fix the light? Now? Does it look like I have a G.E. logo printed on my forehead? I don't think so."

 

"Well then, could you fix the fridge door? It won't close right." To which he replied, "Fix the fridge door? Does it look like I have Westinghouse written on my forehead? I don't think so."

 

"Fine," she says, "Then could you at least fix the steps to the front door? They're about to break."

 

"I'm not a carpenter and I don't want to fix the steps," he says. "Does it look like I have Ace Hardware written on my forehead? I don't think so. I've had enough of you. I'm going to the bar!"

 

So he goes to the bar and drinks for a couple hours. He starts to feel guilty about how he treated his wife, and decides to go home and help out. As he walks into the house, he notices the steps are already fixed. As he enters the house, he sees the hall light is working. As he goes to get a beer, he notices the fridge door is fixed. "Honey, how'd this all get fixed?"

 

She said, "Well, when you left, I sat outside and cried. Just then a nice young man asked me what was wrong, and I told him. He offered to do all the repairs, and all I had to do was either go out with him or bake him a cake."

 

He said, "So, what kind of cake did you bake him?"

 

She replied, "Hellooooo... Do you see Betty Crocker written on my forehead?"

BTW, something I've always wondered about since I don't have a lot of Southern friends...I'm sure you've heard a lot of actors butcher the accent on TV and whatnot, so...how accurate would you say AJ's drawl is?

No thanks. Im not religious. I dont want to be either. I have been to churches of all different types. And I have one thing to say about all of them. They all tell you what god/gods to worship and how to worship them. I believe in heaven, hell, etc... But in my own way.

To me there is no such thing is "Normal" there is what society proclaims to be the norm, but everyone person/pony is unique in their own special way.You will find that those who claim yo uare using your disability as a crutch or that you are "strange" or not "normal" because of your disability, are just ignorant and like most religions who are against Jehovah's Witnesses, they don't know much about them, they are ignorant of what it's all about, and because of that they are scared of it. They hate on you and they discriminate against you.

 

I know. In this world there will be no peace. There will only be war, fear, and hatred. Our place is determined by who we are how strong we are physically and mentally. The effect we can make on the people around us. Kind of like how a countrys worth is determined by how big their military is, how deep their resources go. But I know that people only look down on others through their own arrogance and stupidity. I have realized that people are the most dangerous thing in existance. Because entire nations have been leveled by belief and strive for wealth and power. But we have no choice not to be among those people. And that a true friends worth can only be determined by their loyalty, honesty,kindness, the laughter they share with you, the generosity between you, and then that magical little spark that holds you together. For true friends will never leave you and you would never leave them.

Thanks bro, Yeah, one of the reasons I left Bronies Australia was because one of the mods who claimed to have A.S aswell accused me of using my disability as a crutch, when I mentioned on the forum that I have A.S and I tend not to think things through, which really upset me, as ever since I found out about my A.S, I've been doing my best NOT to use it as a crutch (also that two of my ex's apparenty have it too, and they used it as a crutch for everything, including acting/behaving extremely immature (one was 1 year older than me at the time (21)). I don't use my real name on forums anymore, due to a serious issue that arose a few years back from one or two of my exs (if u wanna know what it is, ask in PM, as I'm not sure it would SFW), and once again, thanks

I agree. I HATE using it as a crutch. In fact i dont. I want to be though of as a normal person to. And I dislike it when people throw it in my face as away of saying your strange or wierd or we just can;t accept you.... WHY im a person to! I just think differntly!

Well hello everypony. My name is Gabriel Galbraith Vixen (obviously not my real name as I only give it out to ponies whom I know and trust). I am a 24 year old father of two, and I live in Melbourne, Australia. I have a certain mental/intellectual/social disability known as Asperger Syndrome, which for those who does know what it is, it is a form of Autism, which means that I often tend to do things on impulse (i.e. say or do something without propperly thinking it through first), which can tend to get me into trouble, so if I do or say something that offends you, or you deem inappropriate, please bear with and forgive me, as it would not have been my intentions at all. Alognside with my Asperger Syndrome, I also suffer from Anxiety and Depression, just thought I'd let you know. I am married to a beautiful woman (who is 41 years old (17 years older than me)) and we are both Jehovah's Witnesses (my wife being a baptized publisher and myself being a student Jehovah's Witness). I love making new friends, but due to my disability, i find it rahter difficult and when I do make them, I also find it even more difficult to keep them. I was a member of the Bronies Australia forum, but left due to the level of immaturity (yes I know I should expect it from a fandom of a show meant for kids), and the level of hypocracy and foul language that was happening on there. My favorite ponies are Twiligh Sparkle and Princess Luna, as I kind of relate to them.

Well, I think that is all I can really say about myself, if you have any questions, please feel free to ask them, but please keep them tasteful. Like I said earlier, I like making new friends, so if you want to add me, please feel free to, but I do prefer if we got to know each other a bit first.... Thanks!

 

You Have Aspergers to!!! So do I!!! And I totally know what you mean when it comes to impulses that you just don't think about or tend to care about until it happens. I've had a lot of crap blown in my face before because of it. Also I have an ex termly hard time making friends, especially after they know im a brony.

Thats interesting... But very cool. In fact I myself dont really like houses with murders or anything along the line of really sorrowful or crappy way to die. Those places just... have a heavy, cold, upsetting atmosphere. But when it comes to movies, such as paranormal activity...well they just hold no appeal or fear factor to me. Because being psychic and seeing the A Hauntings just takes away the fear factor.

Cool! I love paranormal stuff! And to be an honest applejack... Me and my entire family are psychics.

My mom: Can see future events and detect presences in homes

My Dad: Can feel and some times see them

My Sister: Can see them

And Me: I can communicate with them. I found this out when I lived in a house in which the original owner died in. I could sit on my bed and talk to that man. His name was Mr.Wiseberg. He died of a heart attack.

But overall most people think its a load of horse apples until my family proves it.
