Took another stab at my OC, this time using a base. I figure, we couple more times and I might be able to be used to this style. I'll work on cleaning up colors.

 

OK changed her body color to Jade Green. I think it works better.

Is a good attempt, Her legs look very fat compared to the rest of her body, especially since this is a mare. 

 

Actually I think the main problem here is the hind legs, they look waaaaaaayyyyy too fat compared to the rest of the body. 

 

They didn't look as fat on paper...maybe photoshop had some creative additions when I tried to sharpen the lines for coloring lol.
