If Flash Sentry appeared again, what would you want it to be like?

I agree that like any underdeveloped character, Pony Flash (different from human Flash) could be developed into something good on the show. I don't think it's fair to put all of the hate that human Flash deserves onto pony Flash. The mane 5's human counterparts were equally one dimensional in EQG. There just wasn't enough time to develop their characters or Flash's.

 

One thing about Flash that has backstory potential is the fact that he is a non-crystal pony who not only lives in the Crystal Empire, but is a royal guard there. A pretty important one too, since he is always close to the Princess and announces the arrival of visitors. I would like to know why he was transferred there from Canterlot. I expect he was part of some adventure with Cadence and she decided he was a good enough soldier to make her personal guard.

 

Actually, that might make a good comic issue.

I don't like Flash, but if he was actually loved, I might like him, but thats a BIG maybe. Right now they are forcing him down my throat and doing nothing to lubricate the jab. As it stands, I would be happy if he didn't appear in mlp at all. I didn't like EQG and I won't watch it more than once cause it was a boring and contrived toy ploy(Oh and no panty shots to help me sit through the torture either. that sucks cause i love underwear)!
