Titans are among the stupidest things on the planet. Only abherrants show any sort of intelligence and even then, it's not anything special. I'd be willing to bet a rat is smarter than a Titan. 

 

And even if they were that smart, they can't. Helicopters are a lot faster than they look and can just fly out of range of any swats and Titans are so light(this is outright said) they can't crush tanks, they aren't heavy enough. Most Titans aren't even that big.

 

Also, tell me where their reproduction is talked about

 

The colossal Titan is literally too weak to go up against swords, he's too slow to fight. The Armored Titan won't stand up to armor piercing round that will tear his limbs off

least thats what the wiki says...plus it makes sense...and we dont know how many people are part of said organization

never know until season 2 rolls around sometime in 2015...its one of those animes that the creators didnt expect to be this popular...

 

on another note, yes your average titan is dumber than a doornail...

It seems that Titans would be deadly in the universe they were created in where they go up against primitive technology. People would have an easier time to destroy them in this one. Their infinite regenerative capabilities would not be enough although if they appeared in the millions, they could kill many by taking humanity by surprise especially in the cities.

The Titans wouldn't be a threat as we have loads of powerful weaponry that would wreck them such as railguns http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Railgun

If we imply that we would have common materials that wouldn't melt because of the heat and enough energy to make it a worthwhile weapon than yeah it would be useful, but if we did not the military wouldn't consider using it

Well..........after watching a scene from Attack on Titan, where one of the characters is eaten..................for the love of god.......all they had to do is pull the pin and toss a grenade there.  Give them the "Skywalker's Bomb".
