Tempest sighed as he watched the other riders and their dragon, along with Hydran, and sighed. "I guess the others can handle things from here." He said. "What do you say? Up for a quick flight before the storm hits?"

 

Gale smirked and flew out towards the ocean. She had missed spending time with Tempest and felt free for the first time in weeks.

"Hmm well it looks like a storm is coming but maybe we can uh umm have a race? before the storm hits?" she said with a smile.

 

"So... anyways how have you been Orion" Tenebra said trying to change the topic from her outburst with Hydran. She didn't exactly like it when others talk about it (yea this is just becoming filler messages lol).

Hydran noticed the approaching storm and thought it best to stay on land for the time being. Being in the water when there was lightning around did not sound too appealing, especially when he couldn't dive deep enough to escape a surge. "If it's all the same to you guys, i'm gonna stay here for now. Being in shallow water with that big of a storm coming doesn't sound too fun for me."

Clayton nodded slightly and smiled. "I don't see why not." He said. "So, first one to the edge of the north beach and back wins?" There was a hint of hesitation due to the fact that Clayton didn't want to do anything without Ruby's opinion first.

 

Orion glanced at Tenebra and smirked. "Good, but nothing really happens around here." He said. "I guess that could be a good thing. Anyway, how's Gale been doing?" The dragon then turned his attention to Hydran. "I don't see why not."

"Sounds good well at least before the storm hits once it starts raining the race's over deal?" Ruby said.

 

Tenebra glanced at Orion and smirked "looks like were gonna have a race" she said as she flew next to him. "Oh and gales been doing fine still sort of the same dragon before we defeated the red death".

While the others were preoccupied with each other, Hydran decided to investigate the village like he originally planned. Even on four legs, he towered over the many houses and halls that made up the village. The humans there eyed him warily, but otherwise made no move against him. 'They'e so small.' he thought. Sure, normal sized dragons were about the same size, but at least they had natural defenses, 'It doesn't look like they could put up much of a fight.' He began to circle the village, still observing. "Maybe i'll have just one. Surely just one human wouldn't be missed...no, no. I promised I wouldn't eat them." he thought aloud,although all the people could hear was a mix of growls. "I'll just watch for now. I don't have much better to do till the storm passes anyway."

Clayton nodded slightly. "Sounds good to me. I doubt the dragons would want to fly in a storm anyway." He said.

 

"That's good to hear." Orion said, before sighing slightly. "I kinda view her as a daughter, seeing as how I had to make sure Jourmador didn't eat her." With that, the dragon flew forward and headed for the north beach so that Tenebra didn't see the invisible blush on his face. "Anyway, see you at the finish line."

Tenebra grinned and flew after Orion as fast she could "naw see you at the finish line instead" she said.

 

Ruby grinnned "man its been a long time since i last had a race with someone"

Tempest sighed as he laid on Gale's back as the dragoness flew over the clouds. "I missed feeling free like this." He said, before spreading his arms and felt the wind blow against his body. He then scratched Gale behind the ear as the distant rumble of thunder breached the air.

 

Gale smiled slightly and flew slightly faster. She knew Tempest missed this as much as her, and she didn't want this to end.

Orion smirked and flew as fast as he could. He was just barely keeping up with Tenbra. "I don't think so." He said. One could tell that his competitive side had grown, but he didn't let it hinder him.

 

Clayton smiled as he held onto Orion's saddle. "I guess the chicken I've been feeding Prion is paying off." He thought to himself. The teen then laughed and glanced over at Ruby. One could tell he had a crush on the girl, but he didn't know how to tell her.

"Heh we'll see Orion we'll see" Tenebra said as she tries to pick up speed at this rate she can't really make hard turns without going a bit off course or flinging Ruby off her back but it was worth a try.

 

Ruby then held onto Tenebra's saddle then glanced over at Clayton she laughed a bit "man good to have a race with you Clayton".

Orion glanced back at Tenebra and smirked slyly. He then flew into the air above dragoness and flipped so his belly faced the air.

 

"What are you doing?" Clayton yelped as he lost his hold. He then fell out of his saddle and landed behind Ruby. He then quickly wrapped his arms around her chest, so that he wouldn't fall off without giving a thought as to how this looked.

 

Orion righted himself and was again flying by Tenebra. The dragon couldn't help but laugh at the two Vikings.. "About time those two got together." He said.

Ruby blushed a bit "well this got a bit awkward " she said quietly then chuckled.

 

Tenebra glanced at Orion and laughed "nice one " she said as she looked at the clouds "heh better wrap this race up before we all get soggy from the rain". She said trying to fly ahead of Orion.

Hydran stopped walking around the village, bored with it. 'I think I better continue on before the storm hits. I don't really like this pace anyway.' he thought as he looked at the storm approaching. He then turned around and walked away, soon fading from sight.

Zen(link below) was currently trying to outrun the approaching storm, but was quickly running out of steam. 'I don't think i'm gonna make it.' he thought as a bolt of lightning nearly took him out. He needed to land, fast. As soon as he began his decent, a bolt of lightning hit his wing. He let out a pain filled roar as he looked as his now badly damaged wing. Zen's body glowed yellow, a sign of his fear. His decent became more and more rapid until he crashed not far from the village, blacking out on impact.

"Personally, I blame the dragon, not that I don't like this." He said, his face as red as a beet from blushing.

 

Orion rolled his eyes and flew as fast as he possibly could. He knew he wasn't fast enough to out speed Tenebra, but he was pretty close. "You have no idea how much that kid dreams about Ruby." He said, before noticing a flash of yellow. He thought it was lightning and simply continued to fly.

As Gale flew, a dark thought crossed Tempest's mind. They could leave and be free to do whatever they wanted. He then shook his head to clear his thoughts and sighed. "I think we had better start heading back." He said. "We won't be able to land in the storm."

 

The dragoness nodded slightly and turned around, before flying back towards Equestria. As he passed over the storm, she could've sworn she saw a black figure within the clouds, but didn't stop to investigate.

Ruby also blushed "i really do think we should land now the sky is getting pretty dark and i don't want to get struck by lighting or get wet or both and landing in the rain isn't exactly easy " Ruby said a bit concerned.

 

 

Tenebra chuckled then looked down she was flying pretty fast but she could see something yellow "is it me or that glowing yellow thing looks a bit like a dragon? should we go investigate it?"

Clayton nodded slightly. "We might as well." He said. "I think Tenebra basically won anyway."

 

Orion glanced down at the flash of yellow and noticed that it was still there. "We might as well. They could need help, especially if it was caught within the storm.' He said. The dragon then landed a few feet away from the new dragon.

"It was really fun to race with you Clayton" Ruby said.

 

Tenebra landed next to Orian she eyed the crystal curiously then approached it cautiously.

 

Ruby then got off Tenebra and looked at the new dragon curiously "oh my gosh is that a crystal dragon? those things are as rare as nightfury's " she said exitedly.

Zen was roused from unconsciousness by a few unfamiliar voices. He warily opened is eyes to see humans and dragons together of all things. While the sight was odd to say the least, he remembered that he was still injured. He tried to stand but when he put pressure on he right foreleg, he fell back down to the ground in pain. Soon, he stood up, favoring his other legs, and noticed just how bad his wing damage was. He wouldn't be flying for a bit. He started backing away, with a limp, from the ones that found him, not knowing if they meant harm or not.

Clayton smiled at the sight of the crystal dragon. "This is amazing." He said, as he got off of Tenebra. The Viking then remembered the circumstances of where they were and glanced at Ruby. "He may be hurt, but we should at least try to get him out of the storm."

 

Orion didn't take his attention off of Zen. "We aren't going to hurt you." He said.

Ruby nodded at Clayton and then started slowly approaching Zen "don't worry we'll help you" she said softly.

 

"Don't worry we'll help you a storm is also headed this way we really don't want you to get injured more by falling tree's and strong winds" Tenebra said reassuringly.

Zen looked at the one approaching him. she seemed to make efforts to make herself less threatening, and the other dragon did say the humans wanted to help. Zen's yellow color faded slowly and he nodded, letting them help him. He didn't have many options otherwise.

Gale landed in front of Tempest's home and the two quickly ran inside. "I hope the others are ok." She said, as Tempest got ready for bed.

 

The teen smiled slightly and laid in his bed. "I know." He said. Tempest then sighed as he turned to face Gale. "I hope we can fly more soon."

 

The dragoness nodded and laid on the stone slab that constituted her bed. "I know. It feels like we don't get any more time to ourselves." Gale then closed her eyes and fell asleep.

 

Tempest smiled slightly and went to sleep. He couldn't help but wonder why he and Gale hadn't left. They wouldn't have to worry about the others, not that they couldn't handle things.

 

(The RP time may as well be 8-9)

"Well he definitely wont be flying for a few days or even weeks and i think his right forleeg is sprained " Ruby said exanaming him "Tenebra and Orion maybe you two can help get to the village its getting quite late and a storm is coming " she said a bit concerned.
