Here is a starter for the rp.

 

Leo climbs up the stairs leading to the school he was attending, Brandi close on his heels. It was the first day of school and they were feeling sort of nervous about meeting other ponies who have the same problems as they do. Leo, realizing they had arrived 30 minutes early stood outside and waited for other ponies to show up. Brandi however trotted back and forth, regretting her decision to come here.

Outside the school a truck dropped of a large crate next to two ponies that had arrived to school early and left, inside the crate you could hear whirring, like if you were loading up a computer.

 

Next there was a couple of hard knocks on the wood.

 

"Hello is anyone out there, this mobile platform requires assistance"

Lee walked towards the school. He looked like a normal unicorn. He didn't know whether that was a good thing or bad. He supposed he could turn in to his changeling self, but then his wings, or lack there of, would be exposed. No, he decided. He'd keep his unicorn form until commanded to do otherwise. He slowly walks up the steps. Seeing two other ponies he tries to smile at them. "Hi" He says, an unsure grin on his face. As he smiles you can see fangs poking out of the sides of his mouth.

 

 

Paladin groaned. He didn't want to get up yet. It was midmorning, way to early to be going to school. Finally, he opens on slitted eye to look outside his cave. He decides it would be best not to be late, so he gets up and and with a *whoosh* flares open his bat wings. He shoots out of his mountain home and soars over the trees that surround his home. Finally the school comes in to view and with a majestic twist he lands neatly in front of the school. He starts towards the stairs of the school. Suddenly he hears a voice. 

"Hello is anyone out there, this mobile platform requires assistance" 

Paladin takes a detour and walks over to the box. "Hello? Who's in there?"

Brandi jumped at the voice coming from the box and hid behind Leo, shaking. Leo, however, went up to the crate and sniffed at it. He was trying to find a way to open it and as he circled the crate looking for that way, but upon not finding a way to open it he looked to Brandi for help. "Brandi can you help me out?" he asked. Brandi looked up, but upon seeing the another pony trot up she whimpered and shook her head. Leo rolled his eyes at his shy friend and then looked at the pony who just trotted up. "Hello!" He replied a wide toothy smile now plastered to his face, but then he turned back towards the crate, and using those sharp teeth of his he tried to pry open it open.

Rocket flew high above in the air with his rocket wings on 50% thrust. He then switched them to landing mode and landed next to another pony. His scanners identified it to be a mare. He then turned to the right and saw a package. His scanners detected there was a robot pony in it.

Shuffling noises could be heard from inside the box and then a very mechanical voice came from the box.

 

"Hello..."

 

'Scanning for Input. Subject is a Bat Pony + others... Scanning device detected... Activate firewalls... Threat level... 12% threat level... Minimal. Proceed with communication'

 

"...Bat Pony, we thank you for your time, this mobile platform goes by Legion, you may call us such, or what every you prefer, could you open this crate so we may leave, for we are running late for school"

"...Bat Pony, we thank you for your time, this mobile platform goes by Legion, you may call us such, or what every you prefer, could you open this crate so we may leave, for we are running late for school"

Paladin nods, "Sure." Pulling a knife out he quickly starts to pry the box open. After the box is completely opened, he sheathes the knife and extends his hoof towards the robot pony. "The name's Paladin. Pleasure to meet you Legion."

Lee walks carefully up to the shy pony. "Hey...er, Brandi was it? My name's Lee." He says in a calming voice.

Legion climbed from the crate and stood in front of the bat pony, who had his hoof extended.

 

'Name: Paladin... Store data for later use... Hoof extended... Engage greeting protocol 17-B'

 

Legion extends his own hoof out and shakes the ponies hoof.

 

"Nice to meet you, May I be of any assistance citizen?"

Rocket turned and saw the newly emerged Robot pony. "Hmmm...it appears that...Legion...is like...me. Perhaps I should engage a conversation..." Rocket thought to himself. He cleared his throat. "Excuse me? Legion? My name is Rocket." He said as he waited for legion to respond and folded away his rocket wings.

Brandi whimpered slightly and her deer ears flatten at the side of her head. Then she nods confirming that he name is Brandi "P-pleased to m-m-meet you s-sir..." she says in a whimpering kind of voice.

 

Leo looked at the bat pony who had just opened the crate and the robot pony who just came from inside that crate and automaticly trotted up to introduce himself.

"Nice to meet you, May I be of any assistance citizen?"

Paladin smiled. "I'm ok. Thanks. Go on and get to school. My classes are all a little later today. I'm just memorizing the campus now so I don't get lost." He turns when he hears a voice behind him and sees another robot pony heading their way, as well as a furry maned pony. Turning to Legion he says"I think I'll be on my way so you two can...I don't know, exchange cookies or something. Nice meeting you!" With that he turns around and heads over to Leo. "Hey, my name's Paladin."

 

(((Sorry! I didn't see your post! I'll edit mine.))) 

 

Lee nods back and looks away thinking 'how would I talk to Fluttershy...Oh!' He turns back to Brandi and, sitting down hoping to appear less menacing, and asks "So Brandi, what do you like to do? When you're not in school I mean." 'hopefully this works' he thinks to himself 'Flutters always love to talk about animals.'

"Hello fellow synthetic, pleased to meet you, I see you have got the rocket wings upgrade, you must be a very good peace keeper bot, what factory did you come from, I don't recognise your markings with anything in the database"

Brandi wondered why he sat down, but then quickly answered his question "Magic and planting flowers..." She muttered half to herself. Being suddenly talked to was sort of not her thing, but she is starting to warm up to him.

 

Leo smiled his toothy grin again "My names Leo! Pleased to meet ya Paladin!" he says in his cheery tone.

"I actually...started out as a normal pegasus..." Rocket started. The story was full in his memory. "You see, I had a fatal heart condition that would only keep me living for only a week. My mother...found this scientist, who was working with robot ponies. He then used his knowledge and converted me to a full living cyborg robot pony. Since I was a pegasus, he gave me these rocket wings..." Rocket explained.

Lee nodded. At this. He too was in to magic...not so much flowers, though he had dabbled in alchemy a bit. "What kinds of magic do you do? Anything in particular?"

 

"Pleased to make your acquaintance as well." he says happily. "So, what is it you do? Er...what classes are you in right now?" Paladin asks, conversationally.

As you two are conversing, a huge shadow looms over both of you. If you look up, you would see a large unicorn horn rounded from the use of dark magic. Four more horns coming off the beings head. The being is covered from head to toe in scales and has no mane or tail. He has large powerful dragon wings coming off his back. His face is what gets your attention though. His eyes glow green with purple light coming off of them, another indication of black magic. He opens his mouth revealing row after row of sharp, and pointy teeth. His voice is deep and commanding. You hear issuing forth from his mouth " I am DARIUS! Who are you?" He asks, a friendly grin appearing on his face. "OH! Robot ponies? You are so cool! I wish I was a robot! Then I could have, like lasers and fire, well I already have fire, but like jets and stuff like that!"

Brandi lifted her head slightly and mumbled "I can turn other ponies into animals, and many other spells...I took classes in the everfree forested before I was sent here..." Brandis ears then lifted off her head "What type of magic do you do?

Lee's mouth dropped open. "Turn other ponies in to...wow! That's pretty impressive! I mostly just work on mastering harder level spells. So far, I can teleport, but only a little ways, and transform small inanimate objects into different things like a rock into an apple. I'm not good enough to make the changes permanent yet though, so if you see me making apples, I wouldn't eat them. Good chance they'll turn back into rocks later." He finishes with a laugh, hoping to make Brandi at least smile. 

 

Paladin nods. "That is quite the job description, and it looks like you fit the bill as well. I'm actually part of Luna's Nightguard. I'm here to take some of the basic courses as well as Advanced Equestrian History. I'm trying to learn more about the day walke-oh excuse me, uh, non-bat ponies. I find history intriguing. And, those who don't follow history are doomed to repeat it, yes?"

Legion looked to the side and spotted the dark pony.

 

Threat level: 63% threat level: severe... Proceed with self defence protocol 25-X...

 

Legion turned and aimed his hoof at darius's face.

 

"State your purpose organic, or face capital punishment"

"State your purpose organic, or face capital punishment"

Darius's smile faded. "What? I just asked what your name was. Why is everypony so weird around me?" He sat down with a boom, his lower lip sticking out and tears started to well up in his eyes. "All I wanted was a friend! Even a robot friend! Robots are cool!" tears started trickling down his face.

"Hm...I guess he may still be some sort of prototype..." Rocket thought to himself as he saw the other pony appear.

He then saw the other pony about to cry. He walked up to him. "Wh...what's wrong? Did something upset you?" Rocket asked as he sat down in front of the pony.

Finally Darius calmed down. "No, ok, I'm fine now." Turning to legion he says "Hmmm...maybe I could use help on my math homework after this, I'm bad at math..." Then he straightens up, realising both of their attention was turned towards him. "Hey, you both are really cool! Can you both fly? And can you use magic? Or are you just super fast?" As hes asking this, he's eyeing the jets attached to Rocket's sides. 

 

(((OOC: Darius is...different. He was stuck in a long lasting sleep for over a millennia which damaged his brain. Good news: He's no longer a psycho killing bad ass (usually). Bad news: he's not the most mature pony around. He has the maturity of somewhere between a 12-16 year old.)))

Rocket unfolded his rocket wings and powered up. He then took to the air and stayed hovered. "This is how my wings work. I don't think I could do magic...unless I find a source and then convert it somehow..." Rocket said landing back down on the ground and folding his rocket wings.

Brandi smiled lightly "Its not that big of a deal...I can't keep them in that form for a while either, they would probably turn back into their normal pony form after about a hour..." She then giggled lightly at that last statement Lee said. "Id make a note of that.." She said her voice slightly risen.

Leo was surprised the pony was a Nightguard, but then again, he did look like one... "Advanced Equestrian history huh? Interesting class, I heard about that class as well...I just didn't really get all that much into it ya know, I traveled from city to city, so I basically learned the basics of equestrian history from them..and as for that last statement, I don't really believe in little says like that. I learned from experience that some of them aren't really true...sorry"

Sunset approached the academy saying the words "these people are just as weird as you are" Sunset didn't think it was the best thing he could be saying to himself but it was the best he could think of .Sunset started to climb the steps and starting to see some of the students that were flying, he was impressed "maybe they are a little weirder than me" he said to himself, at a closer look he noticed that the people were not people, he started to look closely at Rocket and he still couldn't understand what it was, Sunset started to take a few more steps to see more people they seemed a little more normal, Sunset stood there for a moment after he was at the top of the stairs wondering what or who he could talk to .Sunset noticed Rocket landing so he decided to try and introduce himself, he was now very interested in what he actually was, Sunset approached Rocket "hey, did you just do that awesome flying?"Sunset asked trying to make the best introduction he could, he felt like he was exaggerating a little.
