I find court shows entertaining primarily because it's hilarious to watch stupid people argue against stupid people. This includes the likes of Judge Judy, Judge Joe Brown, Judge Alex, etc.

Judge Judy is by far the best television judge out there. Her no b.s court rooms are quite entertaining.

I am pretty much neutral on the show myself, but my mom however, she friggin' loves the show. She watches courtroom and investigation shows a lot. So I have many memories of just randomly watching those shows with her back in the day.
