"Well... that makes sense. Must be pretty convenient, but isn't it a bit troublesome to carry around such a thing. I mean a lot of greedy ponies might be after such a valuable item," I replied, looking in awe at the card, then back at Dusty. "I guess it's a good to have fellow travellers around in case of such incident were to happen."

My eyes glint a bit at the suggestion, though with my smile it's hard to tell whether it's in anger or glee. "I wouldn't worry too much about that. I've been given assurance that the card will be kept track of by a contact in Canterlot at all times. It's a dangerous toy to leave unsupervised, right?" A spark of magic creeps up my horn. "Plus, while I'm far from a combat expert, I think I could hold off the average ragamuffin thief."

I tipped my head downwards at what I had said. "Oh, my mistake. Forgive me for any disrespect, for I don't know what I'm saying sometimes. But let's change the subject. May I have a look at your works and writings?" I replied, with a smile. I was afraid I may have started a bad first impression.

My smile brightens at the request. "Well sure as sugar you can!" I pull out scroll after scroll, all wrapped in different colors of ribbon. "I have tales of love, tales of travel and adventure, of action and stunts, of the beauty of nature, of the folly of the ponies of days gone by, and yes, even of vengeance." By the time I'm done talking, several dozen scrolls are organized in piles based on ribbon color. The lavender one is still in the bag.

"Ooh vengeance. I love drama!" I exclaimed, picking up one of the scrolls and reading it almost immediately. His use of diction... is impeccable... I thought as I scanned it, reading every detail. Though it would take a while to read all of it. Suddenly a thought came into my mind. Going on an adventure with a group of nice ponies seemed so promising, but too convenient. "Hey, Dusty... What if you discover all that there is or ever was and write all about it... until there was nothing left, what would you write about? or do?" I asked.

I gape for a minute. "Write.. About everything? Every possible story?" My eyes widen a bit and I move a bit closer to Oreo, looking him in the eye. "If I ever came that far, I'd have become the greatest writer in history, by leagues and miles. But," I say with a laugh, "that won't happen. It simply can't. There are millions of ponies spread all over the world, and each of them is living a story worth telling. I am only one pony. I'd never be able to write about everything, not if I had the rest of time itself. And that's the beauty of my calling," I explain, eyes flashing with passion, "I will never be finished. I'll never run out of stories to tell. My task is infinite, like the myriad stars in my benefactor's night sky."

What he said was true. I smiled and let out a chuckle. "Well that's the best darn answer I've ever heard," I said laying back on the tree. "Where do you plan to go as your next target of interest?" I asked, letting out a smile and lowering my cap to my face. I coughed a little due to the cold, but regained my composure soon afterwards. I began to feel a little tired, so I let myself relax on the tree, even whistling a little.

I too relax quite a bit, slumping a bit on my stump-stool. "Right now," I say, pushing the navy blue mane out of my face, "my goal is to find some interesting ponies with whom to travel. Ponies that'll make the trip always worth writing about. And yeah, I think it's fair to say I'm on the lookout for true love out here too. I'm a writer, a poet. I'm almost required to believe there's somepony out there for me and all my crazy."

"Good luck with that," I replied, laughing a bit.

"So, when shall we start our little journey then? I feel that everypony here is in agreement to traveling with you. And I'm eager to get this show on the road," I continued, packing all my belongings back into my saddlebags. "Not much else to do out here, other then get eaten by bears. So how about it y'all?"

"So does that mean you intend to sleep during the day tomorrow then? If you want us to leave now?" I say to Oreo. "Because i'm happy with that." I pick up the coffin and strap it back onto my back, and then taking another sip from the flask inside my pocket. "When should we go?"

I raise a brow at the coffin-toting pony. "You prefer to travel at night and sleep in the day? Huh. By the way, I don't think I ever caught your name. What was it?l" I ask, once more packing my scrolls up. "Personally I think it would be an affront to Spacer's efforts that went into setting this place up if we didn't use it." I gesture to the large tent behind me.

"Yes. But I don't mind, i'll just have to readjust my sleeping times. And you can call me Alex. Or Doctor Alex." I watch Dusty begin packing up his scrolls yet again. "I guess. We can leave in the morning. Maybe we should do a group vote." I look at everyone else at the camp, around the fire.

I look at dusty and Alex with a couple marshmallows in my mouth and take a big swallow "I would say let's leave in the morning. It looks like most of us look sleepy anyway. However, I do only have one tent so I hope whoever uses it don't mind cuddling up" I said with a wink and tossed the stick I used for cook marshmallows into the fire.

"Okay. And that wont be a problem for me." I say, while patting my coffin. "You can all have the tent if you want to share it. I'm happy with my coffin." I watch Spacer throw her stick into the fire, and everyone else around begin to yawn. "Probably good idea if we all go to bed now I guess." I say out loud to everyone.

I smirk a bit at the suggestion of sharing the tent, turning just barely red. "Uh, fine by me, haha," I say, finally removing my saddlebags and placing them just outside the tent's flaps. "It's fairly spacious in here though," I remark as I move inside, looking for a comfortable spot on which to curl up.

I get up off the log I sat upon and stretch out my front hooves along with extending my wings fully before retracting them. "I think I am going to hit the hay too. You all are welcome to finish off the snacks" I said with a smile before trotting over into the tent dusty already had entered.

I come from behind dusty. "Its not much but it keeps the bugs out" I shiver at the thought of a bug landing on my face but find a corner of the tent and nestle down onto my belly. "I hope every pony else will join along tomorrow" I say faintly.

I smile faintly at Spacer. "No need to worry. If they come, that's good. If not, that's fine too. Everything can be made good. Even things that don't seem fun or nice at first can be a chance to grow and change. I think I know that as well as anypony. They'll make their call, and we at least will be on our way." I pick a spot near the same corner and lie sideways on the floor, stretching briefly. I manage a "G'night" before almost immediately losing consciousness.

I tossed my bags at the tree and yawned. Well, maybe I should rest after all of that hiking. he thought, right as he laid his head on the bags. He covered himself up using the jacket as a blanket and then started drifting away from thought. Well, at least I'll be able to see where I'm going during the day...

A few minutes after falling asleep, I start to vaguely mumble. Those close enough occasionally catch something like "It's fine, there's plenty of toast for you all" or "If that isn't the biggest Star Spider I've ever seen... Want some toast?" occasionally dotted with a gesture of a hoof.

My dream of floating through out equestria was stopped as I opened my eyes slightly to hear dusty mumble things. My ears twitched to try to understand his words. Something about toast? I couldn't year it all but I definitely heard the word spider which made my eyes open up more.

I scooted over beside dusty out of curiosity and poked his side. "Dusty? You okay?" I asked not sure if he was going to lash out from a night terror. It seemed like he was okay.

I couldn't help but snicker at the sudden hug along with the random choice of words. I whispered to dusty quietly as to not wake the others while holding back a laugh.

"Dusty?" I aim my words for his ears. "What are you talking about? Its me Spacer. Not vinyl." Even though I wish I was vinyl I let him hug me still. He must have still been sleeping but I still returned a hug his way.

(OOC: So sorry for the absence)

Chelsea decided to sleep outside since the tents were crowded. She didn't mind. But an idea popped up. She then gathered some water energy and made a tent for herself appear. She then went in it and rested. She coud hear Dusty and Spacer talking to each other.

For a few minutes I get comfy in my new pony-pillow, but after a bit I slowly wake up. I blink a few times, then realize what I must have done. My face immediately crimson, I reel back, apologizing in a furious whisper, "SORRYSORRYSORRY" and roll around on the floor a bit in shame. Out of the corner of my eye, I notice Chelsea's new tent, but elect not to question it at the moment

I was asleep in Dusty's hooves before I jumped a bit when my ears picked up his constant whispers of sorry. I wanted to say it was okay, that I have been in the same situation before but I did not want to give myself bad looks from him or anypony else. I did honestly liked the warmth of another pony next to me.

I was about to put a hoof on Dusty's shoulder but stopped and also seen the tent conjure up. I looked to Dusty who seemed certain on not looking back towards me so I slowly got up and stepped outside to the now barely lit fire. I sit on a log and stare into the embers. Why didn't I just do something instead of walking away. I argued in my head as I spread my wings taking one in my hoofs and covering my belly with it picking out some blades of grass.
