private Sonic and Dash (Action/Adventure)

Sonic looked at Princess Celestia. "With all due respect, Princess, But Dr. Eggman builds machines. I would imagine these 'elements of harmony' you speak of would be useless against machines, since, well, Rainbow told me that they work for defeating big villains you get here in Equestria." Sonic continued. "Besides, Dr. Eggman is originally from my world, and like it or not, he can't be locked in Tartarus forever because, how would you feel if you were trapped in a world where you didn't come from?" He asked.

"Anyway, if Dr. Eggman succeeds in turning Rainbow Dash evil, then there is only one solution..." He said. "We have to find all the Chaos Emeralds, and use them to neutralize the source of the mind control."

"Then our task is clear, we need to retrieve all of these chaos emeralds before Robotnik gets to them first." Celestia decided, "Though if saving Rainbow Dash before she gets turned evil is an option I suggest we take it"

 

"I cant believe this is happening, at least it cant get any worse.....right?" Rarity said, causing all eyes to fall on her.

The alarms still raged aboard the Egg Carrier, Dash held her ears and prayed for it to stop. All of a sudden they did, causing her to stand up and look around in confusion. a sharp static noise cut in, "Ahem, Im sure your wondering whats going on" Robotniks voice echoed all around

 

"Show yourself, stop hiding from me and fight!" Rainbow was not in the mood for talk

 

"Well Im just rigging the emerald up to a device that will rip apart the fabric of reality and bring my planet into orbit around yours. Thats just in terms you can understand" 

 

"Why are you telling me this?"

 

"Because once there I'll take you to my lab on my battle station, the Death Egg. Once there you'll be my first test subject on a process in which I plan to run on the entire population of your planet. I just want to make you comfortable before your inevitable demise, that is all." He laughed wickedly before his voice cut out again, leaving Rainbow Dash more scared than she was before.

Sonic interjected. "But we can't get on the Egg Carrier without being on it when it takes off."
He gulped.
"Besides, while we have ponies who can fly, do you really think any of them are going to want to fly near something that massive that has machine guns and laser guns all over it?"

Sonic turned around.
"I'll go get all the Chaos Emeralds, I'll have them in a jiffy. Okay?"
After hearing their response, he ran off at lightning speed.

"Ready, aim, fire!" Robotnik ordered from the bridge, a large blue beam shot out from the front of the Egg Carrier toward Equus' moon. Upon impact a shock wave shook the whole planet as the moon split in half and out from a rift in the middle came another planet. Within minutes the larger planet Mobius loomed down over Equus, replacing what used to be Lunas moon.

 

"What is this!" the black mare cried from her tower in Canterlot, "Somepony has destroyed our precious moon and brought this new planet here in its place, for this they shall pay!" Luna seethed

Sonic had collected 6 out of the seven Chaos Emeralds, when he heard an explosion that seemed to have come from behind him. He turned around.

"T-T-thats! Thats Mobius!! But why!? Why would Mobius be here!?"
Little did Sonic now that Rainbow Dash was already undergoing the mind control that was very close to taking her.
"I need to get the last emerald!"

"Let me go Robotnik!" Dash cried, she tried pulling against her restraints but nothing worked. 

 

"I told you the last dozen times you asked me that, no" Robotnik answered flatly from the tool bench not to far away, "As you have resisted common methods of mind control I have to take more.....drastic measures" he came back over with a chip in his hand, "Im going to insert this into your brain making the process irreversible. Afterward I will graft you with several robotic parts to make you into a formidable weapon against your friends." 

 

"No, I wont let you" Rainbow struggled again, giving every last ounce of energy to try and escape.

 

"Im afraid your not in the position to resist" the doctor reminded her, picking up a large needle, "Lets begin shall we." he came over to her

 

"AH!" Dash let out a frightened screech before all went black

Sonic gathered up the last Chaos Emerald, while seemingly the rest of them, Twilight, Rarity, Fluttershy, Pinkie Pie, Applejack, and Celestia seemingly waiting for his return, when they saw a blue streak in the distance.

"I'm back, and I got all the emeralds." He looked at all the other ponies.

"Okay, I'm going to need you all to gather around for this."

"That was fast" Twilight noted as they gathered around

 

"I expect that this will somehow aid in stopping Robotnik" Celestia remarked

 

"STOP!" a booming voice shouted down to them, Luna landed just outside the group, "Sister the moon has been destroyed, I heard you were going to Ponyville to solve a problem so if you plan to find who has done this we would like to help"

 

"Im not sure thats necessary Luna"

"Whoever's going come on, gather around! We don't have all day." All the other ponies who were going had gathered around him.

"Chaos... Control!" He said, before they all teleported and appeared on the Egg Carrier, which was surprising to Twilight, because even with her level of magic, she couldn't teleport that far.

The ponies looked around at their surroundings, they appeared in a large open room with a lot of doors. "This place needs some fine velvet curtains" Rarity couldnt help but say aloud.

 

"How are we going do find Rainbow now?" Fluttershy asked quietly, the surroundings scaring her

"Ergo, we find Eggman" Sonic said.

 

"Well you won't have to look very far, my admirable adversary" a voice came from behind them.

 

"Eggman!" Sonic turned to face him.

 

"Yes, yes it's me. But this time I am not alone" he said. "Get them!" He sent out the mind controlled Rainbow Dash

Out from behind the doctor stepped Rainbow Dash, robotic parts were plastered on different parts of her body. Her face wore a blank expression and her ruby eyes were glassed over. All the ponies gasped,

"Rainbow snap out of it" Twilight attempted to snap out of it.

 

     Without responding Dash sprinted forward at astounding speed and punched her across the face, causing her to fall do stumble back in shock from the impact. Applejack came up from behind but Rainbow was ready for her, bucking her far across the room. 

 

"You blew up the moon!" Luna yelled at Robotnik, "Prepare to parish!"

Sonic looked over to Luna, hoping it wouldn't come down to him having to take on Rainbow.

"Dear Celestia I hope your sister knows what she's doing." Sonic said while just standing there watching Princess Luna. But he was prepared just incase something was to happen.

"Good luck with that" Robotnik said casually

 

"How dare you mock my po-" Luna was interrupted by a blue hoof to the face. Luna let out a growl and her horn lit up and hit Dash in the chest with a magic blot causing her to fly across the room.

 

"Luna dont do that!" Celestia warned as her sister recovered to charge Robotnik again.

 

"Are you ok Rainbow Dash" Fluttershy hovered over the limp pegasus only to get punched. Rainbow stood back up, still showing no compassion for hurting her friends

Sonic was in pain seeing the scene unravel before him.
"Oh, poor Fluttershy... She didn't deserve that." 
It was only a while, surprisingly, before he was fed up with seeing his new pony friends getting thrown around like ragdolls.

"Get back!" He shouted, and then confronted Rainbow Dash.

"I'm not going to fight you, Rainbow, you need to snap out of it!"

"That wont work Sonic" Robotnik laughed, "She cannot be broken out of it, Ive made sure of it" Dash kept her eyes locked on Sonic, her head cocked to the side slightly

 

Luna charged Robotnik again who only stared at her as she ran right into a force field, getting electrocuted. 

"Luna!" Celestia ran over to her sister, Robotnik just laughed

Sonic didn't want to fight Rainbow out of fear that he might accidently hurt her, or worse. So he just stared at her for the longest time before she made the first move, and surprisingly caught Sonic of guard with it.

"A-ack!: Sonic flinched which left him open for another strike.

Rainbow mercilessly hit Sonic again, Robotnik chortled hardily. "Oh thats rich, do it again!" he commanded. Dash was just about to plant her hoof into Sonics neck before Rarity tackled her.

 

"You wont lay a hoof on him, hit me!" she cowered in front of her friend as she got up again, waiting for a blow

"Rainbow..." Sonic got up from the impact. "You leave me no choice. But... first lets get everyone into a safer place!" Everyone was now back out of the Egg Carrier, because, if they had stayed in there, what Sonic was going to do would probably destroy it, risking the lives of all of them.

While Rainbow was wailing on Rarity, neither of them noticed the Chaos Emeralds forming in a circle around Sonic, something that also surprised Eggman.

Just then. Sonic went white and a flashing beam of light that went high into the sky caused everypony to cover their face with their left hoof.

"GRYAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" Sonic screamed with immense power. As the white light faded. All remnants of the blue hedgehog were missing. Small electric sparks of energy flickered around Sonic.

Dash looked up from the battered and bloodied Rarity to look at the now golden hedgehog, "No, this isn't fair. I haven't even put my plan into motion!" Robotnik got his pod fired up to escape

 

Seeing Sonic as a threat Dash now targeted him, fully unaware of the power he now possessed. All the other ponies, dispite their injuries, looked on to what was about to happen

Sonic let Rainbow get off a couple attacks on him, just to see how she'd react to it.

"Rainbow Dash, I promise I will save you!" He said to her. Preparing for the Battle that was about to commence. He knew it was going to be tough to save Rainbow Dash without severerly damaging her.

"Distract him slave" Robotnik shouted as he flew away, "I'll be back with more next time"

 

Rainbow was undetuted that her attacks did nothing, she was only doing as she was told. "Don't.....hurt her Sonic" Twilight choked out

 

The blue pegasus crouched, about to attack

Super Sonic looked around, avoiding Rainbow's attacks whenever he could. "I need to get her off guard so I can do my neutralization trick..." He thought to himself.

"It's the only way I can save her without killing her. The only problem is... I have to weaken her..." Sonic looked at Twilight. "I'm sorry about this, Twilight." He then blocked one of Rainbow's attacks. And countered it with a slide technique of his own. 
He appeared behind Rainbow Dash, and held her up against the wall. 
"Here goes nothing." He transferred some of the power of the Chaos Emeralds inside him into Rainbow Dash, hoping it would permanently neutralize the mind control.

However, from his little semi-attack. A moderate amount of blood dripped down Rainbow's muzzle.

Rainbows eyes seemed to return to normal for a moment, "So-onic, I'm so sor-ry" she whispered before her eyes clouded over again. Blood matted her mane, the red trail across her face got larger with every passing second.

"Try a little harder Sonic, you can do it!" Celestia encouraged him

He surged more of his power into Rainbow Dash, straining her more, and more blood was starting to leak out of the blue pegasus mare.
"Just hold on a little longer, Rainbow!" Sonic was getting psychically exhausted from transferring his super strength to Rainbow Dash, but he had to do it, not only for her, but for Twilight, Celestia, and everyone else.
