It just clicked after I saw this picture of what what was presumably a vhs cover of G1 Megan looks So scarily similar to Apple Jack- same hair color, same style, same clothing color pattern and style, right down to the cowboy boots...and considering that Firefly is one of her BFF's, and Rainbow dash- a pony based off of Firefly is one of AJ's closest friends, it would seem to make sense....Megan loved the little ponies so much that she wanted to stay with them forever, and eventually the pony gods decided to reincarnate her as Apple Jack, when her human life came to an end. It would explain why she's so determined to make a living and be useful, despite being an Earth Pony who can only farm. If G4 Applejack is the reincarnation of ANYONE, it's much more likely to be G1 Applejack than Megan. Like most fan theories, just because it cannot technically be 100% disproven does not make it likely or even plausible.
