Dakota grips the steering wheel of his black, 2004 Dodge SRT4 ACR. He could remember the day he got it: It was a warm summer day and Dakota had just received his license. He was excited at the time and remembered flying through the car lots, looking at each car. Dakota had only a little money to spend on his car since the rest went for house payments and luxuries. The best he could get was a Dodge SRT4 ACR, which to him was basically a Neon. Being the impatient pegasi that he was, Dakota bought the car and soon felt buyers remorse. It didnt have enough horsepower, the thing was a magic hog, no mare would be caught dead in his dinky little car. Despite all this, Dakota stuck with it for he knew that everyponies first car was special and he wasnt about to let the first car he ever owned go.

Dakota pulls up to the racetrack and gets out of his car.
"Hmm....I think" He looks around, "I think I should visit the mechanic first. You need a quick check up, and after that street race we got in, I think your flywheel might have gotten a crack in it." Dakota says to his car, as if it were a pony.

Draco on the other hand was currently busy working on an old steam car for a customer. Steam cars were tricky to fix up. The wood would rot away it would warp. The metal rusted from the water being inside the pipes. Plenty of work for this pegasus. Now working on the cars of lemons. Now that was his bread and butter. Parts imported to replace old ones. Ah that was a good one.

Dakota gets back into his car and starts it up. He looks at the signs and spots the sign that read 'garage'. He revs his engine a few times and follows the arrows. Dakota was a little nervous to go to the mechanics. Sure the mechanic might be skilled and worked on every engine type from crank to v16, but the thought of somepony other than him touching his baby made him anxious. Dakota didnt have much of a choice in the matter. As per the rules, all cars were to be brought into the garage for an inspection. Probably to see if ponies put in a highly illegal modification like Nitrous or magic boosters.

As he pulled into the garage, Dakota immediately the rarest sights of all time: a steam powered automobile. He had only seen a few in museums, others Dakota saw in magazines. The tall grey pegasus got out of his car and gazed at the wonder.

He checked under the car now. he was quick and efficient with his work getting rid of things the car didn't need but also adding parts the car needed to be a quick racer.

Draco chuckled "IT's free," Draco said as he went back to work on the steam car. He smiled slightly. "Well the starter pack is free," Draco said as he stretched slightly. "ALright the steam car is done," Draco said as he looked at the finished product. "And it is beautiful,"

Dakota stands back and looks at the steam powered car and smiles, enjoying the subtle beauty of it. He looks back over at his car and smiles even wider, his wings shooting out. 

"Thanks! I better get to the first event...don't wanna get disqualified before I can even try."

Draco chuckled slightly as he saw the wings. "No need to get aroused by the car," Draco said jokingly as he pulled out a magazine to wait for the pony to retrieve the steam car. He was humming a song to himself as he kicked up his hooves onto his desk. "You better get going less you want to get disqualified,"
