"well I won't tell anypony that you are a changeling, my lips are sealed." She said before pretending to zip her mouth closed and smiling. She then looked forward and said "and I can't believe somepony would do that..." Then an Idea popped into her head "I have a question about changelings, are you only able to change into ponies that are real or can you change into ponies in pictures... like fictional characters?"

"Thanks....it would kind of suck to have to leave ponyville for good. I already got forced put of Manehatten and Canterlot, which makes me helping out the princesses kind of difficult. But transforming into fictional character...I've honestly never tried. But know I kind of want to", he said smiling.

"There is one fictional book in my collection... maybe we can test it..." She said before using her magic to bring a book to her. On the cover was a Stallion with a light gray coat, green eyes, and a black and white mane and tail. The Stallion on the cover was a pegasus, the title was in braille but it was clearly an adventure novel. "Its the only book in my library that was never published in Equestrian, all the copies are in braille, so if you are able to transform into the stallion on the cover, then you could act like yourself because really nopony who can see knows who he is." She said with a smile.

He scanned the picture to capture any minor details of the stallion. He used his magic to begin the transformation attempt as he turned into a Pegasus pony. "Well that's a start", he said dryly. His green eyes he just let be as his mane and tail became black and white. Lastly his coat became a light gray and he matched the picture perfectly.

"d-did it work?" She asked before touching Hivemind's cheek, She felt the coat of a pony and lowered her hoof "It worked!" She said before smiling. "To tell you the truth, I wasn't completely sure that would work..." She said before chuckling. "Now you can act like yourself instead of Storm Strafe..." She said.

"Yeah....I guess so...that's a huge wieght off of my shoulders then. I figured it would fail horribly and blow up in my face for sure...I'm just glad it didn't", he said laughing. "Im pretty sure he's pretty tired of me stealing his look anyway, so its good for both him and I", he said looking in a mirror to see that his fangs were no longer visable.

She smiled before hearing some beating on the window. She walked up to it and moved the curtains slightly. She put her hoof on the window, it was cold and they was slight vibrations ever half second. It was raining "Hmm I guess they started the storm early..." She said. "And the rain isn't suppose to end until early tomorrow..." She said to herself.

Hivemind heard and saw the rain falling when she moved the curtain. "I should probably be going right about now. I have to get back home to my cave before the rain gets too bad or else ill end up stuck in the storm getting drenched so thanks for the lesson, Shadow", he said heading to the door.

"No, you can stay in the guest room, I wouldn't be able to live with myself if I just let you go out in the rain and get a cold... guessing Changelings can get colds..." She said before closing the curtains and walking to Hivemind. She smiled at him. "And if not, at least let me give you an umbrella"

"Sure. If you really don't mind I guess I'd like to stay in your guest for the night, thank you. I just figured you would have wanted me out of your hair by now is all", he said the hiss gone as he was not in a changeling form. "And yeah, we can catch cold just as easily as you ponies can".

"To tell you the truth, your one of the best house guests I have ever had." She said before chuckling. "Well let me show you to the guest room" She said before walking to the stairs. She began to walk up the steps, slowly. She was trying not to skip a step and fall. She probably wouldn't be able to stop herself in time.

"Seriously? A changeling who lied to you about whoand what he was, and I'm your best house guest...you poor pony", he said following her to the stairs. He silently noted how slowly she was walking up them one at a time, which actually made sense with her blindness. She couldn't see so it was easy to miss a step and fall.

Once Shadow made it to the top, she gave out a relieved sigh, she has fallen while climbing the steps and broke her leg before. She led him to the guest room and opened the door. It was a moderately large room, a queen sized bed, a dresser and everything else that a bedroom needs.

"Thanks...I don't even need all of these furnishings. I'm happy as long as I'm not being drenched. If you had wanted I would have slept on a floor no problem", he said walking into thevroom and sitting on the bed. "Comfiness confirmed", he said jokingly. "Good night if there is nothing else", he said in his politecway of saying he needed to get some sleep.

"hmm I guess its later than I thought... " She said before thinking "What time is it exactly? One of the ponies in the weather team told me it was only 1 pm about 3 hours ago. " She began to think that, time had either gone by fast or the pony earlier lied to her, or it really is 4 pm.

"No..you are correct

It is only four but I'm just really tired. I haven't been myself lately...no changeling pun intended..the princesseschave had me running back and forth across Equestria all week. I know I'm being a rude house guest trying to go to sleep at four...sorry. I'll just stay up, no problem", he says yawning throughout his reply.

"oh, I understand, you rest." She said before smiling. She then began to walk down stairs, trying not to trip. When she was down stairs she cleaned up and then headed back upstairs to her library. She began searching for a book to read, to pass the time. She found one and used her magic to carry it to a table.

He curled up in the bed after another deep yawn. He hated to be this rude to her when she was letting him spend the night at her house butcher was admittedly exhausted and couldn't help it. He fell asleep nearly instantly and slept through the night without a single dream.

Shadow had fallen asleep in her library, using the book like a pillow. When she opened her eyes, she lifted her head and yawned. She got out of the chair she was sitting on and put the book away. She scratched her head, she felt like she was forgetting something...

Hivemind slowly slithered out of the bed and walked down the stairs tl stretch his legs and saw Shadow in her library. "Good morning, Shadow. Did you sleep well", he asked still in the form she had shown him from her adventure book. He yawned quietly looking at her book collection.

She looked at him "Yes I did sleep well... I really need to stop falling asleep in here, I have only slept in my bed twice this week." She said before tilting her head to the side, causing a large popping sound in her neck. "ow..." She said as she quickly raised her head and put her hoof on the side of her neck. "How did you sleep?" Shadow said as she rubbed her neck.

"Well.....since I normally sleep in a cave, I guess you could say that was probablyy best night sleep I've ever had. Why don't you sleep in your bedroom instead of your library", he asked as she popped her neck. "You all right", he asked her before using his hooves to put pressure on the popped joint in such a way that it was soothing(Acupressure).

"Sometimes I get so caught up in reading that I fall asleep, You have no Idea how many nights I have woken up in here, I really need to start reading in my room instead of my library at night." "alright" She said before smiling and remembering what she had forgotten. "I have somethings to do today, so hopefully I will be able to do it before you stop by..." She said. Today she needed to translate some books to Cherilee, She has a blind foal in her class now and she needs some books.
