open Stranded on an Island (RP)

The ship crashed into the sandbar with a loud thunk, blowing a hole in the front. The ship was slowly sinking. Everypony needed to get out, fast.

 

Skyla reached the surface of the water and gasped, finally getting some air after being underwater. She was tredding the surface, her wings stretched to support herself.

 

She looked out in the distance, looking for someplace dry to swim to. A couple feet away, she saw an island. She quickly swam toward it, propelling herself with her wings.

 

She landed on the hot, dry sand and lay there for a minute. She got up, the sand sticking to her body, and looked out in the direction of the boat crash. She hoped everypony was okay.

Dazed and confused from the wreck Back Slash finds himself a few feet from the ship. 

 

" What Happened?" He sees Skyla swimming toward an island. He swam after her scanning the water for anypony else. 

 

" Are you ok?" He asked Skyla as he clambered onto the sand and looked out over the water, searching for somepony....anypony.

"I'm okay, are you okay?" Skyla asked while looking out towards the boat wreck. It's been a few seconds since the boat crashed and yet, nopony besides Back Slash has come up from the wreck.

 

She hoped they didn't drown, or get caught in the boat.

 

That would be awful! she thought to herself.

Anala got up with a facefull of sand. She shook it off her face and out of her mane, which was hard to do because her mane was done up in braids.

 

She looked back at the crashed ship, and the surroundings that now housed her. She looked at the other guests.

 

"Oh, Celestia, no..."

Blaze finally opened his eye and got up before cursing. "Stuck on an island...wonderful well m- OW" Blaze tried to open his wing but instantly closed them after heeling a really bad pain. "Damn how unlucky can a pony get...Unable to open wings meaning I can't fly to see how far help is...stuck on a island" Blaze said before turning around and seeing three other ponies. "Glad I am not the only on here"

Skyla looked at all the ponies that were stranded with her.

 

"Is everypony here? I think we're missing somepony..," she said, hoping that nopony was missing. She realized that one was actually missing.

 

"Start searching the shore, there were a total of five of us."

 

She started trotting around the beach, trying the find the fifth pony.

"SWEET CELESTIA YOU SCARED THE MANURE OUT OF ME!!!!" Back Slash exclaimed. Turning to see the dark red pony. "Hey are you ok?" Attempting to walk towards them Back Slash felt suddenly very dizzy. "ohhh.....ohhhh my head......." Was the last thing he said before passing out on the sand.

Blaze was about to answered before seeing the pony about to fall. "Hold on" Blaze said moving to catch the pony. "Damn...one is passed out, one is leaving, one still hasn't moved yet...I'm unable to fly to see how far is rescue or to check the island...and we don't know if there is another pony" Blaze sighed. "I wonder if I broke my wing or something"

"ughhh......what happened? where am i?" Back Slash thought to himself. Slowly opening his eyes, through the blur and swirls of color, he could make out a figure, "Who are you?" Backslash asked "and why do i feel like i was run over by a stampede?" Slowly trying to regain his footing. Failing at that he sat down to recover his thoughts. Thinking aloud, "Oh Celestia where are we?"

"We are on an island....stranded...welcome to hell" Blaze sighed as he looked at the stallion. "Name's Blaze Wing what is yours if you don't mind me asking" Blaze said before trying to open his wings but quckly closed them. "son of a-" Blaze stopped as he sighed again

"And how in Tartarus do you expect me to know?" said Anala, getting up to stand on all four hooves and shake the sand free from her light grey coat. "We were riding on the ship one minute, and then bam, we're on this island! This sorta reminds me of that TV show..."

Blaze sighed. "Who are you exactly?" Blaze asked looking at the mare who decided to speak finally. "Also he wasn't just asking you he was asking everypony in the vicinity..." Blaze said. "Stay calm Blaze don't piss anypony off and don't get too angry" Blaze thought to himself

Skyla trots back to them quickly.

 

"I couldn't find anypony else. I'm pretty sure there was a fifth pony..." she said.

 

If there was a fifth, I hope he's okay, she thought to herself.

 

 

"Well, we might be stuck here for a while. Should we start building a shelter?"

 

She walks over to the tree line, grabs a few palm leaves and some sticks, and starts trying to craft a hut.

We also need to make a fire...first is shelter though." Blaze said getting  up. "Though we will need more then just sticks...wish my damn wings weren't damaged badly" Blaze said before going into the forest. "Anypony coming with?" Blaze asked as he looked back at all the other ponies

"I'm Anala," replied the archer mare, dusting herself off just a little more.

 

@@Midnight Starfall,

 

She turned to the purple Pegasus mare. "Yeah, good idea. C'mon, everypony, let's get to work on a shelter. Unless you wanna get your flanks shredded apart by whatever monsters could be lurking around here..."

 

She went to join Blaze in his search.

"Name?" Still dazed, "Oh my name, its Back Slash, but you can call me Slash if you want." Then hearing the white pony's question replied with, "heh heh, Sorry I dont know why im confused, may be due to this lump on my head."  Back Slash got up, shaking sand from his body. "I think im ok now." 

 

 

"Shelter huh?" Said Back Slash, "Hmmmm......" He thought.

"Pretty sure we can h-never mind bronken wings mean I can't use my fire...which also means I'm almost usless in a fight for now" Blaze Wing said. "It's nice to meet you also Anala" Blaze said as he looked around the jungle for any fallen logs or anything to use to make a shelter

Skyla went back to the treeline and picked up some small stones, twigs, and dry grass. She walked back to where they landed and built a small fire circle on the sand. She didn't light it though, she was going to light it in the evening.

 

She waited for the group to come back with some materials to build a shelter.

 

Wait, what are we going to do about food? she thought to herself. She decided to ask the two ponies when they get back.

Anala raised an eyebrow. "'Use your fire'?" she restated. "Do you have some sort of magical ability involving fire?"

 

'Why would he have magical powers despite not being a unicorn? Furthermore, why would he need his wings to activate said magical powers?' she thought.

"Yes fire I am part Pheonix but I don't have those amazing rebirth abilities but I can control fire only...I can only do so with my wings which are broken" Blaze said. "I'm able to only use fire if my wings are not broken sadly they are so I am a bit defenseless and can't do much other then carry wood since I can't fly either" Blaze said

Back Slash walks over to Skyla. "Need some help?" Asked Back Slash, "I will do whatever i can." 

 

Back Slashes stomach Starts Growling loudly, "Well that answers that, I guess im going swimming again." 

 

Back Slash starts heading toward the ocean hoping to find food for everypony.

"I... see?" replied Anala. She had no idea how a pony had ended up being part-Phoenix, but she would definitely inquire some more about the topic later.

 

A spider dropped down from the trees and landed on Anala. She was startled at first, but then allowed the spider to crawl around her. "I like bugs," she explained.

Skyla watched him walk away as she heard his stomach growl.

 

That solves our food problem, she thought to herself.

 

She looked at the fire circle and realized it was too close to the ocean. She picked up the sticks and stones and rebuilt the fire circle a couple feet away from the tree line. She decided the shelter would also be there. She didn't want the shelter washed away by a wave while they were sleeping.

"Spiders are interesting...they way they make their web in which their prey gets trapped as they wrapped their victim and eat them by draining the fluid from their food" Blaze said smiling. "I also like Anacondas for how they crush their victims before eating them" Blaze said

Anala nodded, and as she picked up some pieces of wood, she looked at the bow and arrows in the sheath fastened around her waist. "I might be able to hunt us some food. We haven't exactly gotten that figured out yet," she said. She was reluctant about killing creatures, but if the alternative was starving to death... well...
