*Blue waved back, and walked off to work, ready to get absolutely pummeled in work. As he walked in, he got a clipboard shoved into his chest, and a pat on the head and a 'Have fun!' from his manager. Sighing, he went and got to work on his extra stuff to do, on top of his normal work.*

Storm walked over and took Triton from Glitch after hugging him. While she was hugging Glitch, Echo came in and started cracking up seeing Storm hugging him. "Oh no, Glitch you must he dying. Know how I know? Cuase Storm is hugging you of all ponies. Don't forget to thank the make a wish foundation before ya croak", he teased Glitch who simply smiled at Echo. "You know what, buddy...Storm and I are gonna go to breakfast...feel free to stop by after for practice", he called as Echo walked out and into the game store.

*Blue put the box down he was carrying and slammed his head into the wall multiple times.* "Damn. You. Work. Making. Me." *He paused to think.* "Work." *He finished with a final slam into the wall.* "Ow." *He said holding his hoof up to his head.* "You dumbass, what were you thinking?" *He patronized himself, and got back to work.*

Glitch and Storm would up taking the train to Canterlot for their breakfast which had Storm.confused. "Wait...where are we going", she asked when her curiosity finally got the better of her. "You'll see", was all Glitch said back before turning his headphones off and putting his music player away, nearly making Storm fall off her seat in shock. Echo had wandered into Dungeon's store grumbling about Glitch and Storm.

*As He was stacking and racking some card packs and boxes, he heard the bell over the door ring, signaling there was someone coming into the store. He stopped what he was doing and turned to help the customer.* "Welcome to 'DM's Game and Hobby Shop', anything I can help you with?" *He asked.*

"Probably. I need something to kill time. I'm bored of most of my games so I figured I'd pick up something new to kill my boredom", he said repeatedly opening and closing the door to activate the bell. "Those two better hurry up though", he quietly griped to himself.

*Blue looked at him confused, seeing him repeatedly opening and closing the door talking to himself about something.* "Well, is there anything you have in particular you'd like? Card Game, table top RPG, video games?" *He asked making sure he had covered the variety of games they had.*

(Fair warning. Echo defines odd ball).

 

He hopped around the store looking at everything and poking and prodding nearly as much. "Video games", he yelled into a microphone he had pulled out nowhere, literally. He bounced around a bit more before grabbing every video game in the store with his magic.

*Blue couldn't do anything but sit there and stare, jaw wide open. He shook his head to pull him out of his trance and to see if his hearing still worked* "Uhh, well alright then, are you going to be able to pay for all of those?" *He asked, hoping he could.* "I swear this town and it's ponies surprise me constantly." *Blue thought.*

He pulled out a single bit and placed it on the counter. When it hit the counter, it began to multiply in neat stacks of bits. "How much", he asked casually as if none of his antics were in play and the poor pony behind the register didn't have to put up with them.

*He couldn't believe what he saw, but realizing he was a unicorn, it made some sort of sense.* "Uh, half of that should be fine." *He said. He went behind the counter and made the transaction, wondering who this unicorn was.* "Here you go." *He said, handing him his purchase.*

"Thanks....okie dokie artichokie coins, you can stop multiplying now...", he said to the coins. "This is the last time I take bits from Storm...she totally screwed me over...wait..I'm rich now. Oh hey...I don't know and that won't do at all. Hits, I'm Echo..echo..echo, dis you catch the Echo", he introduced himself to blue.

"Uh, Echo." *He said, just completely confused with the pony.* "I'm Blue." *He introduced himself. He then realized what Echo had said before.* "Wait, Storm?" *He said.* "As in Storm Strafe?" *He put two and two together.* "You wouldn't happen to be in the band she is in, would you?"

"Shattered Harmony? Yeah. I'm the lead vocalust...she and Glitch are in Canterlot getting something to eat and I ticked them off so they left me here, not that I mind. More video game time", he said before realizing he was now confused. "Wait...how do you know Storm Strafe"?

"Well, I'm kind of dating her." *He said, rubbing the back of his neck.* "Wait, did you say she and GLITCH were in CANTERLOT getting breakfast!?" *He half asked, half shouted. He then realized what was happening and his eyes widened.* "Oh shit." *Was all he could say, and he facehoofed.*

"You and the Thunderbird huh? If you know her then you'll get what I mean by that. Zappity zap zap. Yeah though we were all gonna go get breakfast but I teased him a bit too much, I guess and he only took her. Guess he was mad at me", he said completely oblivious to what Glitch might be planning. "Why? What's wrong", he asked trying hard to not childish for once since it seems serious.

"Yes I get it." *He chuckled, then became serious and put his hoof to the bridge of his muzzle.* "The idiot followed Storm to a Café yesterday, where Storm and I had lunch together and sat there staring st us, even though Storm called him out on it, then we talked about his obvious crush for her and stuff. Then Storm and I had a bit of a fight, but we got over it later and forgave each other." *He also mentally added 'I hope.'* "So, I guess he saw it all and saw it as an opportunity to go and comfort her and some how get Storm to go out with him." *He sighed.* "Seriously, some stallions. Jealousy is a bitch." *His paranoia started to kick in.* "Shit shit shit, what happens if it works!?" *He panicked. He looked over at Echo.* "Echo, dude, you gotta help me!" *He said.*

"Storm go out with Glitch...you're even more insane than I am. And I have a second pony chilling in my head", he said before holding his hoofs up in a look of surrender. !All right, ill help you...but I've never seen Glitch actually make a move on her so you really shouldn't worry", he said walking to door. Glitch and Storm were walking through the streets of Canterlot, slightly lost. "I don't know where the place we were gonna go is but I do know one other place....best place I could think of since its just us now", Glitch explained and something in his voice seemed a bit bolder tthan usual. They walked a bit and found a fancy restaurant with an orchestra playing slow songs which had brought couples to an ornate dance floor by the musicians. "I figure you always do everything so hastily and almost feral. Might be nice to give slow and elegant a chance", he said as they were seated and had their orders taken. Storm was a bit annoyed to be at a fancy restaurant but it wasn't like she was there on a date or anything. But as soon as the thought passed her mind, she began to wonder if it was a date and Glitch's plan to admit his crush which she thought was a cute gesture but he knew she didn't like fancy things so she relaxed not knowing anything about what he had planned.

"Well, I think we should go to Canterlot to start out and see if we can find anything there." *He said, thinking of a plan, and thinking about how he is going to have to work the weekend now that he was missing more work. He made a leeway to the train station and then paused.* "But I would like to know two things: How good are you with your magic and how heavy are you?" *He asked.*

"My magic...I'm pretty bad. I even do basic levitation or teleportation. All I'm good for magic wise is illusions and duplication", he said creating a perfect duplicate of him self that patted Blue's head before dispelling the duplicate. "And weight I'm pretty average unicorn weight", he said cocking his head. Glitch knew she wasnt amusef by the elegant restaurant and aimed to perk her interests. As the orchestra was playing cherrybombs went off in each of the hanging lights and rained glass down on the ponies In the Booths. Storm just sat staring at the ensuing pandemonium as the fancy ponies fled the "freak accident" as would be called. Glitch was starting to think he'd gone too far when Storm jumped over the table and hugged him a bit. Nice one, but we should probably get out of here", she said walking out with him at her side. "Can we just get something from a cart", she said still giddy from the destruction ensuing from Glitch's plan as the kitchen went up in flames. "Yeah", he replied thinking things were actually going pretty well.

"Illusions, good, I'm going to need that." *He said, thinking about how he could go about doing this.* "And average weight? Alright let's see." *He started making calculations in his head comparing flight speed over train speed.* "Alright, let's get on a train, I couldn't carry you and myself to Canterlot faster than a train can. Let's get going before my paranoia gets to me." *He also mentally added. "And when the one trait that from my father that couldn't stay dormant kicks in and things go down." He galloped to the train station and purchased two tickets, and climbed aboard.*

Echo was still wondering why he helps helping this pony he just met instead of his friends, but figured it would inevitably help Storm. Glitch had been nervous the entire time and it was obvious. "Storm...I know you're going to say no and I understand completely, but I have to get this off my chest". Storm turned to face him with a bit of Burger on her cheek. "Go ahead", she said starting to wonder if he was finally gonna fess up though she doubted it highly. "I know you're hanging out with that blue Pegasus Guy, bit if you two aren't actually together, do you wanna be my marefriend", he asked expecting her to reject him. "Well, to be honest, we are not technically dating. He never asked me to be his marefriend", she said putting a wing around him. (Duh duh duh...remember, she hasn't said yes yet..).

*Blue was repeatedly hitting his head on the window, his paranoia getting the better of him. They were just arriving in Canterlot, and pulling into the station. During the ride, he asked Echo everything that had happened in the previous 24 hours where he wasn't present. As the train stopped, he quickly hopped up and pulled Echo with him.* "Come on Echo, we got no time to lose." *He said, shoving him out the door.* "Time to cast that illusive invisibility spell." *Blue then wrapped his forelegs under Echo's forearms and lifted them up and headed towards the heart of Canterlot, the market place.* "If it all goes well, it's just a friendly thing. If not, dad and I are going to have some things in common." *He thought to himself, hoping his mental genes would not have to be used.*

"What's happened when you weren't around...pretty usual stuff. Band sessions to get ready for our gig in Detrot we got coming up. Glitch following Storm around. Her liking him. Her liking her. Her waiting for him to ask her out. Him not doing it. Then after your pissing her off she smashed her guitar and he spent the night fixing it. Um illusion invisibility...that doesn't exist", he retorted. When they arrived Storm and Glitch were walking back toward the train station with Storm leaning her head in him and Ger wing tightly around him.

"Damn it Echo, I was counting on you!" *He said, half annoyed. He spotted Glitch and Storm walking somewhere, and the position they were in, something deep within his mind snapped. The gene that he desperately did not want to turn on, activated itself: Over protection.* "Hold on Echo, we're going in loud and proud." *Blue said, his voice a little deeper then normal and he dove towards the ground and landed on front of them with a audible crash as they landed.*
