She took her head off his neck and sat up only to lay back down cause she didn't have the energy yo sit up after windigo incident. "Um..yeah..is that a problem", she asked as her cheeks were turning bright red. She just nuzzled him a little after returning her head to his neck lightly.

"Nope, not at all. I don't have anything against any sexual preferences." *He said, nuzzling her.* "I've already accepted you for you anyways, it's nothing to be ashamed of." *He then looked at her, seeing her try to even sit up was sort of painful for him.* "Maybe you should get some sleep, that windigo sure took a lot out if you."

She wound up curling up on her pillows with her left wing bent backwards. She had hit it hard and landed on it with her full body weight when the windigo had been removed and she hit the floor. She had unknowingly broken it and didn't realize because the pain from the broken wing was wrapped up with the rest of her pain. "Okay. I'm just gonna take your advice and try to get some sleep", she said quietly and she really didn't seem like the Storm Strafe from three days ago. She now seemed more vulnerable and fragile.

"Alright, sounds good." *He planted a kiss on her forehead and got up and went to the door, paused and looked back at her.* "If you need anything, just call, I'll be in the living room." *He said, then proceeded out the door, then started whispering to himself.* "Sweet Celestia, her wing is screwed up!" *He caught a glance at her wing when he was leaving.* "We'll need to get that looked at when she wakes up."*He didn't want to risk anything yet, he just wanted her to rest for now.* "Poor thing, this has really taken a toll on her."

Storm slowly drifted to sleep in silence, a while after Blue had left the room. She would tops and turn occasionally but other than tjat, she was silent and motionless. She slept for about four hours before rolling off her bed and landing on her hurt wing. "Ow..I'm up..I'm up", she said walking out to the living room.

*Blue was laying on his back humming and quietly singing to himself when he saw Storm come out of her room. He yawned and got up and greeted her with a careful hug, not wanting to touch her broken wing.* "Hey sleepy head, how are you doing? Feeling any better?" *He asked.*

She hugged him back lightly and smiled a bit. "A little bit....I'm not so drained..still in a crapton of pain, though....", she said nuzzling him. "Yesh....you were laying there the whole time...I think I'm gonna take a fly..you coming", she asked still unaware that her wing was completely broken.

"Actually, I can't have you flying, take a look at your wing." *He said, mentioning towards her left wing.* "Its broken, so you trying to fly would be a disaster, we need to get you to see a doctor." *He said with care in his voice.* "Don't worry, I'll carry you down there, and I can carry a grown pony."

Storm stopped dead and looked at her wing. "As if that windigo wasn't bad enough....all right fine. But they better not pull a needle on me", she said since she was quite terrified of needles. "Allright...but let me wrap it first", she said grabbing her first aid kit and wrapping her wing to her side. "This way nothing else should happen to it".

"I'll make sure they use as little needles as possible, cause I hate needles too." *He said, shivering at the thoughts of needles going into his wing.* "Damn those needles." *He muttered to himself. He then walked to the door and turned back.* "I'll be waiting outside, come out when you're done." *He said.*

Storm quickly wrapped the wing painfully tightly to her side and put her first aid kit away back in it's cabinet space. She walked out to meet Blue and looked down at Ponyville below and shivered slightly. "That's a long drop without wings", she said to herself. Then speaking to Blue, "Don't you dare drop me", she said trying to sound like her old self.

"Dotn worry, I got you safely in my hooves." *He said with confidence and he started hover and put his forelegs under her barrel and hooves and took off flying towards the hospital. He looked down at her.* "If you ever feel like I'm going to drop you, just say so and I'll land." *He said, trying to make her feel more comfortable.*

She held her eyes shut tight the entire way to the hospital. The weren't from the pain, but rather from her shattered pride and broken spirit. She had lost all of her pride when she had lost control and let the Windigo out. Her spirit had been broken when she became soft and pathetic which was when she couldn't stop the Windigo or save herself. She was by no means pathetic but she no longer wad the pony Blue had met days earlier and wouldn't be for a while.

*They landed in front of the hospital and he put her down gently.* "Alright, let's get that wing fixed up." *He said, as he walked in through the front hospital doors. He went up to the pony up at the desk and retrieved the paper work, and went and sat down with Storm.* "Paper work, joy." *He said sarcastically.*

"I don't wanna fill out this stupid paperwork....make somepony else do it", she groaned looking at the papers then at Blue and nudging him not sure if he understood that she wanted him to fill out her paperwork for her. "Blueberry....you should probably get some rest after this...with all the work you owe your boss".

*He took the pen and started filling out the paperwork.* "I should, but I think I'd rather hang with you for the rest of the day." *He said.* "Plus I can work on my extra work on the weekend, it's no big deal." *He said while finishing the paperwork.* "Hold on a sec." *He went up and have the mare behind the desk the paperwork and sat back down.*

"If you say so...I just hate that I've made you miss so much work...I know your boss can be very happy about it", she said before he brought the paperwork up to the desk. When he came back she was laughing dryly. "What a perfect specimen of a Wonderbolt I am....haven't even officially started with them and I break my wing".

"Hey, don't be like that now." *He said nuzzling her.* "Everyone breaks a bone or a wing every now and then, it's fine. You'll be fine in a week or two, I'm sure." *He said trying to reassure her.* "The Wonderbolts will still want you even though you had something small like a wing break."

"The broken wing isn't the only problem. The windigo being gone is a bittersweet blessing. Yeah...I can't lose control like that anymore but most of my speed came from the storm spirit just like storm abilities", she said nudging her head undèr his wing. "I'm not fast enough anymore', she said with tears in her eyes

"Oh crap, I forgot about that! She doesn't have her abilities or her speed anymore." *He said mentally. He wrapped a wing around her and sighed.* "Well yes, but I'm sure we can get you some training so you can be just as good as you were when you had your windigo." *He tried to comfort her.*

Storm just shook her head slowly. "Maybe...I guess well see eventually", she said looking crestfallen. Everything in her life had been ripped away in the single moment of the Windigo's removal. Her winderbolt position, her speed, her storms, everything except she still had Blue and that was something to be happy about.

*He tightened his wing around her and smiled.* "That's the spirit." *He said. Nurse Redheart then walked in through the double doors on the other side of the room and called Storm Strafe's name. He turned to her.* "Alright, you're up." *He said, hoping the damage isn't too much.*

She walked through the doors to the second examination room and sat on the table for Redheart to examine her wing. Nurse Redheart checked her wing and gave the news that they already knew. "The wing is completely broken but should heal up to flying condition in a couple of weeks", she told them after administering a medicine to aid in the nine mending and to help with the pain.

*He sat there fiddling with his hooves until Storm came back. He stood up and went up her.* "Hey, so did they say anything other than 'Your wing is broken, here's some medicine.'?" *He asked.* "Hopefully the medicine won't make you trip or anything, just make you tired."

"Nope. That's it. Just, 'your wing bones are completely shattered, have some medicine", she said dryly. "Oh and I can't fly for a couple of weeks, so that's just great", she said rubbing her head. "If I start tripping, will you ignore whatever I do, however wierd it is"?
