I don't remember the exact number of posts for each rank, but I know it took A LOT of posts for me to get to the pony rank, and pegasus is higher than that so... Solution Zygen 6,066 September 25, 2014 Solution Share September 25, 2014 No, you aren't able to freely change your ranking badge, it is simply determined by post counts, you can check those post count numbers by clicking on any ranking badge(like mine for instance) and you'll see the menu with all the post count requirements for each rank. If you are a subscriber you can change your title, which appears above your avatar, but your actual ranking badge cannot be altered forwards or backwards in terms of ranks. So for instance, I cannot change back to any of the previous ranks before unicorn. You simply have whatever rank fits your current post count. Jeric 46,851 September 25, 2014 Share September 25, 2014 Adding to what zygen said, When viewing a topic, you can click on any badge of any user, and regardless what rank they are, a pop up window will display a list of every rank, its' name, and how many posts you need to attain that rank.
