Good or bad Sunset Shimmer?

My opinion of Sunset Shimmer in EQG:

Meh, I couldn't really care less for this villain.

 

My opinion of Sunset Shimmer in EQG-RR:

You know, she actually isn't really a bad character. I actually really like her.

 

It's pretty clear that MLP focusses on redemptive qualities of villains i.e. Discord, Nightmare Moon and now Sunset Shimmer. But I'm not complaining. I think she plays a much better role in the new movie as a goodie than a baddie.

I think reformed Sunset Shimmer is adorable, but villain Sunset Shimmer is badass.
