private MLP FIM: Darkside Manor

Storm stays in her room looking at the ceiling, not knowing what to do and takes a short nap. She dreams about her days as a filly, and how things went wrong during those times. Waking up, she listens to the dead sound silence while looking out the window. Sighing, she sees darkness.

Sunny Melody giggled at Ace's joke.

"Tee-hee! You're funny! But I can just do a flying spell."

She hoped she could at least. Flying spells we're difficult magic, and Sunny had only performed one successfully once.

Eh, Viola seemed pretty powerful, and she could handle it if Sunny couldn't. Probably...

"It's quite alright" He said to Sunny. "I've never tried transporting another pony on my back, anyway, I think it will be fine. So come on, hop on, it just might be fun if you don't let go of me, you know?" Moonlit prepped his wings for flight, itching to go but he was wondering how fast he could fly with all that weight on his back.

Violia nods. "I think it maybe best that you go ahead on his back. Besides I can let my light orb the one marking my position so you guys don't lose me. I can handle any trouble that maybe on the ground here." Violia says with some confidence. She need to work with them to be able to make it anyway. The path to Darkside Manor isn't exactly safe and rife with wild life much more dangerous then even in the Everfree.

"Fine." Sunny said with a comical scowl. She hoisted herself onto Ace's lower neck (the least awkward spot possible) and wrapped her hooves around his face obliviously. Her back hooves were just south of his green and white mane, and her face was buried in his monster of a hat.

"I guess I should go wander again," Storm decided and goes out her room. She sees the candles lit with life and sees the headmistress of this beautiful manor, along with Void.

 

"Oh...um hey Karla, Void" she shyly lets out as she walks pasts them.

 

She still isn't able to be open with others, ever since her incident long ago, making her regret everything from her past.

Karla smiles and nods. "Greetings Stormlight." She says in a gental tone. She was smiling but she could sense Stormlight emotional angish and suffering. This was something she never admitted to being able to do though so how she figured Stormlight knew. Karla knew she wasn't the open speaking type and she didn't mind that, but it does leave much to wonder about.(Sorry about the waiting, Void hasn't been on to reply to my post so the Darkside Manor part of this will be a little slow till he is back on.)

Violia watches Sunny got onto Moonlit. She then heads on off into the darkness of the forest, the orb of light being her beacon. Hopefully they will make it to their destination before too long.

(Woah! Sorry I fell alseep Back now though now I gotta jump back in.)

 

"Hello?" Void collapsed right there earlier from magic over use and just woke up. Void was quite literally still rubbing his eyes upon awakening.

"Sorry, fell asleep I barely even know what's going on" The Armoured Changeling looked very confused as he observed his surroundings

Karla sees Void awaken and giggles. "Working yourself over again?" She asks and helps him on up. Her mind thinking about Stormlight. She was worried about her. She was not hardly thinking about Void her hoof mindlessly out to him up. She then broke out her deep thought.

Stormlight sees Void, waking up from his short slumber and goes up to him slowly with a smile.

 

"You practicing your magic again, Void?" she asked him quite confidentally.

 

She wonders why she can talk to him, but not anyone else like that.

"Yes, I was. You never no when you need to use it in either offensive of defensive moments" Void said this with a smile on his fanged muzzle and a chuckle after.

"Not that I would hurt anypony with it but you know. Self defence" Void was grinning as he talked and making sure his armour was fully on his body.

Moonlit Took off into the sky, flying at a slow speed so he could let the mare on his back adjust to being in the air, he didn't want to intimidate her with flight, something he had been used to since he learned how to fly, but since she was a Unicorn, he had to take her into consideration too. Once he was sure she was okay, he flew off in the direction that the map was taking them.

Agreeing, she nods and gives a smile. "Well, I'll be walking around manor again, see ya!" Storm walks away and looks forward to the darkness ahead in the halls. She once was her cheery self, and tries really hard to go back to the way it was before, yet with not luck did she achieve it. She tries looking at the mirror again to see if anything changed at all.

Violia got on her way making sure her and Moonlit were not too far apart. They traveled a long stretch of terrain ans soon found a path which lead high into the mountains. Maybe this path would lead them to what they were looking for. It almost seems like time was passing by slower with them working together to find this manor. She just wonders what would be in wait once they make it.

Karla nods as she watches Stormlight walk on off. Her eyes soon move quickly back to Void. She smiles as Void adjusted his armor. She in someway fancies the idea of him being one of her personal guards, but she is aware of her own talents enough that it normally wouldn't be necessary. At the same time, she feels safer too. after a moment she could sense three other life forces nearing her location. They seem to be far outside the manor perimeter but are closing fast. She'd need to get read for a welcome or to attack a threat. "If you'll excuse me, Void. I have matters to attend to."

Void smiles back at Karla and responds.

"Okay, I will leave you to it" Void gave a simple response to her and kept going down the hallway towards his room and casually opens the door.

"Bed sweet, bed... I need to stop over doing my transformation magic use. Hmmm, I need to feed again soon, guess I am making a trip later"

He was craving to feed of love again but ignored it and stared at the bed.

"I slept in the hallway now I don't feel sleepy... Still could use a bit of time to relax" Void hopped onto the bed and threw his armour off the side, making a loud thud, he hates taking off his armour but he ain't lying down in it that's for sure.

"Dammit"

Storm does the usual she always does and sits on her favorite couch by the fireplace. It made her feel better and gives her good memories of her parents in her childhood. This made her smile and she closes her eyes, until she hears a sound coming closer, making her feel worried if whether or not it was danger. So she hid behind the dark walls.

Void was relaxing on his bed without armour on for once when his love craving gained in need.

"Humph, I really need to feed sooner or later" He grunted to himself as he licked his fangs and hoped of the bed equipping his armour again as he trotted over to the door to his room.

"I need to happen across a pony who is wandering in the area to feed, this is evil but I ain't dying"

He hates feeding but has to do it to live. He opened his door and trotted out into the hallway.

With a sigh, Storm quickly walked back to her room, letting the darkness in the hallway comsume her. She can sense her way around the dark since her younger years. Then she noticed Void walking down the same hallway, coming more closer.

"Oh, hey again Void!" she let out with a smile, not knowing what he was doing nor about to do.

Sunny Melody grinned as the wind rippled through her mane. She'd always wanted to fly! She could feel the beating of Moonlight's wings behind her as she gazed down at the mighty forest zipping past below.

"What's that?" Sunny asked as she spotted an area free of trees on the distant ground. She hoped Ace could hear her over the sound of the whistling wind.

"Hmm? What was that, Sunny?" Moonlit asked. "You see something unusual? Or are you just messing with me?" He giggled.

He looked up and down the area but couldn't find what Sunny was talking about, and in turn he had to wait for the unicorn to direct his eyes to the location that she was talking about.

"Right... there!" Sunny Melody said form atop Moonlit's shoulders. The pegasus' head and mane blocked most of her view, but far below she could see a large clearing in the woods, and a bit of something dark and glittering in the center.

"It's like... a lump thing. It's in a clearing int he woods and it looks dark and weird..." Sunny leaned close to Moonlit's ear so the wind couldn't whisk her words away.

Moonlit's gaze followed the direction of Sunny's hoof.
"Oh, there!" He said before flying down quickly to get down there. As they got closer and closer they needed to know what it was down there.

"But, now that we're going down there what exactly is it?" He asked.

Void was surprised to see Storm in the corridor at the same time.

"Hey Storm" He smiled at her with a wide fanged grin.

"Why are you in the corridor?" He asked before realizing not to poke in to others privacy. "Oh, sorry you don't need to tell me, it's fine"

He was still smiling at her and acting quite lazy almost tired even though he rested and relaxed, he needed to feed.

"Oh, alright," Storm smiles back. "I was just going to my room, thought I should just go to sleep"

She cluelessly turns around. "Welp, my paranoid self is kicking in...but anyways, I'll see you again later!

She walks away looking at the floor with sleep in her eyes.

Sunny was attempting to describe what she was seeing to Moonlit Ace. "It looks like... sort of a house, maybe..." Sunny Melody's eyes were watering from the air rushing past, and Moonlit's mane was flashing in and out of her vision.

"It seems really old, and kind of dark. Not just in color, but it feels weird. And there-" Sunny was cut off by a strange force hitting her body. It was a bit like the wind flying past her and Ace, but much colder and more... unnatural.

Sunny's vision felt clouded and dim. Her head swam with unknown and dizzying thoughts. She felt as if she was flying through mist, but more magical and much more mysterious. Sunny Melody felt very cold, and very, very tired...

The little unicorn was only half-aware, and hardly noticed the dark and looming shadow of the enormous manor as she and Moonlit Ace descended to the unknown ground.
