As he answered, Stormy gave him a smile. They make there way to her parent's house and as they walk up to the door, she took a deep breath and knocks on the door slowly. "Heh, you excited? I know I am! My parents would be happy to see my coltfriend, and how happy we are." she tells him before they open the door.

Beta chuckles and heads for the door. "Oh, I'm sure they'll be happy to see you got a new coltfriend," He says happily. "They should be happy that you not only got a new coltfriend, but also got accepted into the Wonderbolts academy. All happening really close together.

Stormlight's father was first to notice the stallion with her daughter, giving him a smile. Stormlight then remembered that tomorrow was her first day training in the Academy. "Oh wait! Mom, Dad, I got accepted to the Wonderbolts Academy! Got any place in mind on where we should all celebrate?" With great surprise, her parents were really proud of her, with the show of how proud they are to prove it. She knew that when her parents are proud of her, she can be satisfied "Hm...I've got nothing, what do you think, Beta?" her father asks.

Beta for the millionth time, thought for a second. He really likes to think for a second. In reality, the second feels like a minute. The second part is just a little exaggeration. Beta then got an idea. "How about we all go out to one of those big fancy restaurants."

With a nod and grin, the family agrees on the suggestion and goes to one of the most fanciest restaurants in Canterlot. The train ride didn't take long, for Stormlight was excited for the occasion. She sits next to Beta and smiles. Arriving at Canterlot, there were lots of fancy looking ponies walking around in elegant clothes. "Oh, boy..."

With a nod and grin, the family agrees on the suggestion and goes to one of the most fanciest restaurants in Canterlot. The train ride didn't take long, for Stormlight was excited for the occasion. She sits next to Beta and smiles. Arriving at Canterlot, there were lots of fancy looking ponies walking around in elegant clothes. "Oh, boy..."

Beta steps out of the train and looks around at the beautiful sites of Canterlot at night. It did look extra fancy and extravagant during the time at which Luna raised the moon. They found the fancy restaurant and they all waked into it's fanciness.

Being dazed by the fancy names of the food on the menu, Stormlight decides to order a cheese souffle, just because it has the word "cheese" in it. Beta sat there, a bit bored from trying to be mature in a fancy location. He was extremely bored of being here, but he knew that he had to make it through this big night for Stormlight. He decided to crack some jokes he told Stormlight on their first date. "Hey why did I go to the doctor? I was a little horse!"

Stormlight looks at the stallion and chuckles quietly. Beta's jokes never ceased to make her laugh, her parents smiled and asks Beta a question. "So, Beta Ray...how did you and my daughter meet each other?" the father asks Beta. Stormy hears the question and looks at Beta blushing.

Beta continued blushing for a second until he remembered the clear answer for how they met. "Well, I had been eying her for a few months. I was just way too nervous to actually approach her.  She was just so beautiful and from what I heard had a great personality. But then one day I finally did and she said yes,"

Her parents were kind enought to pay for the entire meal, because of her achievement and because it was just nice to do for the couple. They all go out the door and she looks up at the sky. "Aw man, that was great!"

Beta comes out of the restaurant cleaning himself off from all the food stains ha had gotten on his face. He enjoyed that meal so much. He didn't think he's enjoy dinner at a fancy restaurant that much but he did. "That was indeed a fine outing for all of us."

"Agreed! It brought back some nostalgia to me, that really was a nice dinner." Stormlight confesses as she hugs her mom and dad. For all what they did for her before, she knew that it didn't mean nothing. She smiles and looks at Beta. "Well, it's starting to get dark again...shall we move along?"
