Ghost buried her face deeper into his chest, not letting go. "I...I had surpressed those memories years ago... I...I never wanted to feel that pain ever again..." she mumbled, shaking a little.k

Steel nodded "yeah she has a real hard time with stuff life that but she can also suppress them rather easily" steel said

Astrid fell asleep under his wing

Ghost nodded, looking up at him and kissing him quickly. "I...I'm sorry you had to see that..." she apologized, nuzzling him.

 

Lunar laughed, taking a drink. -He's gonna end up pushing this poor stallion till he passes out... Typical Shadow...- she thought, giggling in her head.

Steel heart was pouring sweat and panting but he kept going taking out the other shadow bit as he did another appeared and he went for it

Lunar took another drink, looking a little off. You could tell something was weighing her mind down.

 

Ghost looked up at him. "I-I went through hell and back ten times... But, I wouldn't be who I am today if it didn't happen..." she said, a few tears still rolling down her cheeks. "I ran away from my sensei... That stallion you saw was the only stallion I truly loved... He always swore he'd protect me from all the horrible things in the world... I could have easily dodged that dagger... He wouldn't have had to die..."

Steel sighed from "from what astird told me Its safe to assume he didn't trust your skill something that he should have" steel said "but he did what he did because he loved you"

Shadow kept the shadowing going walking over to her "what's wrong "shadow said concerned about her

Ghost looked away. "He was a fool blinded by love..." she muttered, her voice pained. Anypony could tell she was still heartbroken about it.

 

Lunar blinked, lookeing at him. She shook her head, smiling. "it's nothing, dear..." She nuzzled him. "I'll tell you later..." she whispered in his ear, not wanting Steel Heart to hear.

Steel nodded- a fool blinded by love isn't ready for it one must always have his wits about him or perish- steel thought it was something that his grandfather taught him

Grell walked into the training room "hows the training" Grell asked

Lunar blinked, looking at Grell. She looked over at Steel Heart. "Shadow's whooping his plot into shape," she laughed, looking back at Grell.

 

Aiko followed behind Grell, keeping close to his side.

 

Ghost sighed, wiping her eyes. She stood up, brushing herself off. "Grab Astrid and let's get going. We must not delay." Her legs were shaking a little. She was still shaken up, but she knew they needed to keep moving.

Steel almost laughed "ghost we're making camp its late and she's passed out already " steel said

 

Shadow smirked "even rise lasted longer then him " shadow said "he's weak and slow"

 

Grell nodded "then push him harder Shadow" Grell sad fighting back a laugh as steel heart fell

Ghost blinked, looking at him. "A-alright..." She used her magic, setting up camp quickly.

 

Lunar nodded. "I'm pretty sure he plans on training him till he breaks," she laughed, the troubled look coming back to her face. -Should I tell him now or wait till morning...?- she thought, worried.

 

Aiko blinked, noticing Lunar. "Is something wrong, Lunar?"

Steel put astrid in a tent to sleep then walked over to ghost and nuzzled her "are you okay ghost" steel asked

Lunar looked at Grell. "A-actually, there's something I need to talk to you about... Alone..." she admitted, standing up. -Better get it over with now...- she thought, sighing.

 

Aiko blinked, wondering what in the hay was on her mind.

 

Ghost nodded. "I-I'm alright... Just a little shook up still..."

Shadow tilted his head curious he wanted to known what was going on

Lunar nodded, following him. She was nervous and scared. What would he do? Would he be mad that she kept it from him this long? Would he praise her for revealing the enemy's location?

 

Aiko blinked, watching them leave. She looked at Shadow. "Any clue as to what in the hay that's about???"

 

Ghost nodded, heading into the tent.

Steel went into the foliage and began searching for food

Rose was in her room sleeping restlessly she kept tossing and turning unable to get comfy

Lunar went inside, looking at him. "I've been meaning to tell you this, but never knew how'd you react..." She took a deep breath. "Remeber when I went to Luna and Celestia's side...?"

 

Aiko thought for a moment. "Think she's been hiding something from us? I mean, she was just on their side."

 

Ghost yawned, laying down

Grell nodded "I do remember now what is it it lunar I'm not much for waiting as you know" Grell said

Astrid stirred a little

Lunar sighed. "They have ponies coming... Planning a sneek attack on us... Stained Steel and another new pony who was suppose to arrive to use in a few days named Ghost Arrow..." She looked at him. "I had been planning to tell you sooner, but you had been gone almost all day today, and well, I figured you didn't want to see me after beating the hay outta me..."

 

Ghost soon fell asleep, curled up next to Astrid.

Grell nodded "get aiko and shadow and rose" Grell said " we need to discuss what we're going to do about this"

Shadow heard everything "we're being called in aiko you'll know soon enough" shadow said looking at her

Steel sighed walking back to camp setting the food down

Cipher Splash sat on a cloud overlooking the ever green, she let out a yawn as she solved her rubix cube for the thousandth time. She then tossed the thing away getting rather bored with it, the rubix cube fell down before landing next to a pony that was stationed in the camp. Cipher then spread her blue wings and got ready for a quick flight, her recon mission had been quite successful so far.

Cipher Splash stashed her papers within her bag and flew down to the bottom of the cloud cover, she pulled out binoculars from her flight bag and glanced down at the camp, she placed her binoculars down,  and began plotting the camps location on her map. The binoculars started to slowly sink though the cloud while Cipher worked, after finishing she folded the map away and reached for her binoculars which had disappeared, she blinked rather confused and began moving the cloud around trying to find them, "damn that was my favorite pair" she grumbled finally giving up searching for them.

Pain suddenly erupted from Ciphers side and she let out a small squeak before falling out of the cloud, she opened her wings and landed clumsily on her other side preventing further injury. Cipher glanced at the knife sticking out under her left rib bone. She began rummaging inside her bag looking for something to arm herself with.
