"Wha..? Rave what are you doing?" Sparkle stepped back "i.. I'm fine Rave I just... Remembered something from my previous job that I wouldn't like too talk about right now " sparkle slowly walked into his basement "alright " sparkle wiped the tears from his eyes there's a curtain at the back I wouldn't look behind it. It holds a memory of when somepony close too me died .memories that I don't need too be revived

Rave understood Sparkle just fine. He had also lost ponies close to him. "I understand. I will of course not look. Especially since it would only hurt you. Soooo? What are we doing here? What's the plan?" Rave asked. Rave was looking around, although not peeking around the curtain as he wanted to respect Sparkle's wishes.

"We're getting some pony armour Rave then we'll end this once and for all" a loud crashing sound comes from behind the curtain "oh b**k one fell over again " sparkle slipped through the curtain and flicked on a small light "*sigh* you two are proving too be a real problem. Good thing that you can't open curtains " sparkle was looking into the blue eyes of a metallic pony when another walked up next to it 23,29 the three of us are the only surviving members of ESA 1's engineering crew we lost 23 of our total crew of 35 including the one pony on their who influenced me too make you guys.... The captain"sparkle sat down on the ground "you know... I love you two" 23 rested his metallic head on sparkle's head as 29 slowly warbled "I......l..love....y....y...you .....too .....sir"

"29 why are you so formal just call me sparkle after all I saved you" sparkle looked at a picture" all your brothers destroyed why? What caused it why did we survive? why not THEM!? "Sparkle looked at a mare standing next too him i n the photo

23 slowly walked up behind him " it's time you let go... She's dead and you can't do any thing about it"

"Your right her and the captain.oh and I brought company today" sparkle walked forward and opened the curtain "hey Rave I got something too show ya" sparkle dragged him behind the curtain "behold my ultimate secret!"

Rave looked at the metallic ponies. "Uhm, hello. Oh sorry". Rave changed back from Dark Star to himself. "I am Rave Darkmane of the Darkmane family. It's nice to meet you. Never seen magical armor be able to talk. I thought it was dark magic. But I can see it is not. This is very interesting". Rave looked at Sparkle. "Armor you said. I hope you have some light armor or leather armor for me. I'm not a juggernaut. I'm more of a magical fighter. But I have had my training with my brother with a sword".

23's eye's slowly went red as sparkle started to laugh "these guys aren't armour " sparkle thought of something "hold on. 29!? Come here!" Sparkle shut off 29 and opened up a small hatch in his side reviling cables and something small and purple" Rave in a way these things are magic and in an entirely different way their not . this is a compact magic cell they supply these guys with power which I supplied to the brain through these wires which makes them run! one of my more brilliant ideas now there were 22 others but they *shivers and sparkle nearly dropped the cell *yeah better put this back now"sparkle put the cell into the pony's heart and closed the hatch"hey 29 "sparkle switched on the pony" their we go! Right armour "sparkle rotated a shelf containing all kinds of things until he reached racks upon racks of pony armour in all sizes " something light? Rave try the chain mail. It should be light enough for you "sparkle went for full heavy armor and started too put it on

 

Meanwhile...

" Right good idea "seven looked at Snowflake " so where you from? who are you looking for? Do you know anything about the foalnapper? Anything you say could be used in a court of law as evidence against you do you under stand? "Grass walked up behind her " chill just chill he's fine he's been on that guys case for a few days"

"Day's and how Mr grass do you know this?"

"Umm..."

"court of law? no I don't think so I'm nothing but a mercenary and I've been hired by contract to retrieve these individuals and capture this foalnapper" *shows contracts* "as for who I' am I'm simply Snowflake a master at ice magic. If you really want to accuse me even more for this I could always just freeze your hooves right here until the foalnapper comes back for you. The last thing I need is Equestrian law trying to take me down. Now anymore questions?"

"No you've told my quite enough. Snowflake is it well Mr Snowflake security footage found you and three other ponies braking into the Canterlot library the next morning an important book went missing now if you would tell me where it is which of the three possess it . you see that book holds secrets of powerful dark magic who ever has it could help or hinder anyone they wish such as the foalnapper. I'm warning you now if you are close too this pony then I would exercise caution you never know when they could turn.Snowflake! Do you remember the time that ESA1 crash landed in ponyvill? some say it was some pony who went power crazy with power this could happen to the one with the book. Get it off them ASAP " seven spoke with extreme seriousness in her voice

"well now that you mention it he did go kinda crazy after he got this book..... but I sort of ignored it I couldn't care less finding these foal and getting paid is my first priority." Snowflake sees a door and he opens it "sunlight" Snowflake feels his magical abilities come back to him "ah much better. Now your telling me we need to stop not only this foalnapper but also my acquaintance who stole a book containing ancient evil magic. Well we should try hunting for my friends first we are going to need all the help we can to stop the foalnapper and we need to warn them about the evil magic. I hope we aren't too late"

"Brilliant plan! judging by time of day we should be their in five hours DAMN YOU!" Seven looked up "well what do we do now it'll be midnight before we arrive well I think it's time we set off unless you want too get caught

 

Meanwhile in ponyvill...

Sparkle was slotting his helmet onto his head and his sword into its scabbard and clipped that onto his side before turning around " HEY RAVE,MELODY YOU TWO READY YET? "

"Sir may I suggest not shouting?"

"29 if I don't shout how will they hear me?"

"Umm no idea sir"

Rave put on the chain mail. "Nice, although if I were riding off to war I would paint it black with red stripes in some places". Rave thought about himself leading Sombra's army against the army of the Two Sisters. Instead of Blackforest, it was him leading the army. He brought victory and Sombra personally thanked him. Rave woke up from his day dreaming. "Uh I'm ready, it fits quite perfectly. I still don't know why we are wearing this. I suppose that we are going to be fighting something or somepony". "And if we are going to be fighting, I will use the book to empower me. Nobody can have it. Everybody wants it. It's powers belong rightfully to me. If Celestia even tries to get it back I will end her. It belongs with the Darkmane family as Sombra had no successor and we were his close supporters" Rave's eyes twitched a little.

Snowflake does some thinking and wonders where the others might be "hmmm Ah the only place nearby Ponyville I'd expect them to go looking is the Castle of The Two Sisters. Now we need to just figure out where we are" Snowflake pulls out his map and observes his surroundings "this isn't the Everfree Forest you can tell because of the sunlight and how the trees look. There is a forest north of Ponyville and north of that are mountains" Snowflake searches for mountains and finds some nearby "alright we should be north of Ponyville meaning we need to head south through Ponyville and then south through the Everfree Forest. I can teleport us to Ponyville but from there we need to walk" Snowflake teleports taking the others with him to Ponyville

Melody looked around for a piece of armor. [it's all way to be for me. Curse being small...] She thought, still looking around. She saw a small sword, and grabbed it. [At least I won't be completely defenceless. If we get in a fight, I can still fight. Besides, maybe this is all the protection I need.] She was about to go find the others, when a small helmet caught her eye. [Okay, I'm set. I probably look absolutely ridiculous right now. Oh well, at least I'll haves a weapon. Can't say the helmet will do me much good though. Better than nothing, not to mention it's the only thin that fits me. Why do I have to be so small?! It's annoying, and I'm sure it's not gonna help in the battle. At least I have a bit of experience with sword fighting...... okay, not really. I'm great at pretend fighting, with plastic swords. I'm sure this is gonna be a lot different though. Who knows, maybe I'll actually fight well if we get into a fight....] "Yeah, I'm ready." Melody said, trotting over to stand by Rave and Sparkle. [Fighting.... never thought I'd be doing that. What if ponies die? Or what if it turns into a war? The ponies in the streets will get hurt! Or worse!] "Uh, if there's gonna be a fight, shouldn't we warn everypony in town? I mean, we can't really tell anypony, but we could tell them all to stay inside. I know a pony on the weather team, I could get her to make a big storm. Then everypony would stay inside."

"Umm Rave of course we're going too be fighting somepony and anything that gets in our way" sparkle lifted his visor " now if you wish too close your eyes till I lower this visor sparkle I won't be offended some pony's say its creepy. That includes these guys "

"Y...yes sir "

"23 cover my eyes"

"Geez you two its not like you haven't seen this before it's happened like 11 times in the mantanace room and twice here "

"Yeah but we covered each others eyes"

"Well you two are watching as punishment for being such baby's"

"I got to give it too you Snowflake your a gienious journey time cut by well journey time any way we part ways I'm going scouting for intel bye"

Snowflake does a gesture similar to a salute but meaning farewell he then utters to himself "yeah sure leave it to me to get your job done for you" Snowflake begins walking towards the Castle of The Two Sisters it takes him awhile but he finally arrives "now if I can just find Rave before it is too late"

Guards pounced on Snowflake. Scar Darkmane comes into view. "Well well well. If it isn't my old enemy Snowflake. You are one of Rave's "friends" am I right. Well too late for you. He has already fallen into darkness. When I have killed you the Shadowbolts will be finished and I will have gotten my revenge. I have killed enough of you that you will no longer be able to interfere with my plans. You might recall some of your friends from the Shadowbolts that I killed" Scar laughed darkly. "Tie him up and put this around his neck. It should prevent him being able to use his magic" Scar held a collar with a white gemstone in it. The batpony came into view. "I believe I know the location of Rave. It seems he entered one of the escape tunnels and has gotten to Ponyville". "He escaped to Ponyville. I guess we will have to give pursuit. We can not risk having our position exposed and of the Foalnapper. He would not be happy if ponies were to discover we are helping him". 

 

Meanwhile in Ponyville. "This is some quality armor but it will not protect me from everything. Perhaps if I enhance it with dark magic" Rave thought. Rave went into dark corner where nobody could see him. He pulled out Sombra's book from his pocket dimension. He performed a spell and the armor glowed a little bit for a while. When he was done the armor was a little bit darker than it used to be. "I love that book" Rave murmured as he put the book back into the pocket dimension.

"Alright then " sparkle turned to face 23 and 29(the transformation will be in a lot more detail because I have more time) sparkles eye's slowly but surely started to glow the normally emerald green eyes of sparkle started to go as black as night. His mane like green grass turned red as blood he finally looked up "their that wasn't so bad "

23 is on the floor quivering in fear

"Oh come on its still me I just had a colour change I'm still me" sparkle lowers his visor "their better?"

"Yes much "

"Alright. Hey Rave pass me that book will ya? "

Rave slowly turned his head, his eyes were full of suspicion. "What book?" Rave said innocently. "I have no book". Rave backed away slowly. "You got a new look huh. Only happens to me when I use too much dark magic. My mane turns black and my eyes go green with a little red in them. Sorry but I have no book for you".

"So you left the history book behind!?" Sparkle steared straight into Raves eyes " Damn it Rave are you for real! That book was our one and only clue about whereabout the foalnapper is if snowflake was here he'd know what too do"seven herd the name snowflake and burst into sparkles basement "you mentioned snowflake yes?"

"Yes what's it too you" sparkle removed his helmet as seven stepped back "the names sparkle sword pleased too meet you. And don't worry I don't normally look like this "

"Charmed and whoes this?"

"Oh you mean that book, yes I have it. Hehe hehe" Rave laughed nervously. Rave brought forth the history book. Rave looked at Seven. "Nobody that you have to worry about, or at least I hope so, for your sake. Perhaps if you introduce yourself first and tell us what you do and if you anypony your allegiance. Tell me, do you serve Celestia? Like do you have any connection to the police or the Royal Guard?" Rave was very suspicious as of now. He did not like that some strange pony had come into Sparkle's basement without Sparkle even knowing who it was.

"Indeed I am seven jewel agent of the equestrian intelligence based in Manehattan now I'm sorry I wasted your time" seven matches the two to the photo" wait... You two were in the library a book containing secrets of powerful dark magic was in their the next day it had dissepeard "sparkle looked acussingly at Rave

" well I certainly didn't take it Rave you weren't with us you went of to the closed section on your own! YOU HAVE SOME EXPLAINING TO DO!"

"I thought that Snowflake had already told you. Fine, I went into the closed section and reclaimed what is rightfully mine. What belongs to the Darkmane family. Sombra's personal spell book. We are his most closest supporters and have supported him for over a thousand years. Celestia be damned if she thinks she can hold it from us". Rave looked at Seven. "And what are you going to do about it? Hehe" Rave's horn started to glow.

"DUDE WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU! YOU TOOK SOMBRES PERSONAL SPELL BOOK YOU NEED TO RETURN THAT AND ANYTHING YOU'VE CHANGED PUT BACK! SPELL BOOKS ARE DANGEROUS ESPECIALLY THE ONES USED BY PONIES WHO TRIED TWO TAKE OVER EQUESTRIA #@*! HOW STUPID ARE YOU!?"

"What do you know of spell books. You are a pegasus. Even if you could understand it you will never understand Sombra's book. He made sure that only pure unicorns could use it. Sombra's spell book is his legacy. It deserves to see the light of day. It does not belong to Celestia. It belongs to Sombra himself. He would have gladly seen us have it instead of Celestia. So no, I will not return what was stolen from us. One more thing. Sombra did not try to take over Equestria. He wanted the Crystal Empire and nothing else. Celestia and Luna forced his hooves. But I would see Sombra as the ruler of Equestria". Rave charged Seven and knocked her down. He ran out of Sparkle's basement and out of Sparkle's house. "He wants the book, he wants it, I can't let him take it" Rave said to himself, his eyes full of rage.

Rave ran through the streets of Ponyville. He encountered a few royal guards. Rave immediately blasted them with dark magic, injuring all. Most fell unconscious and were in pain. Rave ran past the wailing guards. "I must get home and retrieve my orb. Must get my orb. My orb". Rave ran towards his house. He could see that there were Royal guards investigating here. "They must have come to inspect the scene where Blackforest and I were previously when Dark Star alerted them. Pity. They will regret it".
