Snowflake teleports away from Scar "a completely different organization killed the other Shadowbolts I would know, they were not like any creature you had ever seen and I don't mean from this world they weren't even from this world. Now I'm here for one thing only my friends as for what you do I couldn't care less I'm a Mercenary not a Hero. Now tell me where are my friends?"

"Hehe, the Shadowbolts have many enemies Snowflake. I'm just one of them. Of course many members have been killed by your other enemies. But we have all killed at least some Shadowbolt. You know where Rave is. He is probably with his friends. But if you are not going to be still, then I am afraid we are going to have to kill you". 20 ponies stepped into view. Most of them unicorns. Happy was there as well, holding a sword in her mouth. 

 

Rave reached his house and started blasting royal guards left and right. "GET OUT OF MY HOUSE".

"then so be it your ultimate demise awaits you all" Snowflake takes off his cloak revealing his whole body Snowflake then takes his knife and injects himself with a pure blue tonic he then watches all the ponies around him before getting a grin on his face he then teleports and reappears back stabbing one of the ponies he then teleports again out of sight then reappears backstabbing another pony then teleports away he then reappears back in the center where he began freezing everyone in place he then walks up to Scar "you never should of crossed me" Snowflake grabs his cloak and begins walking through the Castle in hopes of finding any of his friends he then shouts "Sparkle, Rave, Melody are you guys here!?"

Scar begins to laugh. "And you should never have crossed with someone who knows blood magic". Scar picks up a knife slices himself. He is all covered in blood. The blood begins to animate. Scar begins to grow in size. His voice changes. "YES. YES. I CAN FEEL THE POWER".

*sigh* "how did I know you wouldn't be as pathetically easy to kill as your followers were, I have no time to waste on you it is clear my friends aren't here so I will be on my way" Snowflake teleports to Ponyville "hmm where could they be....of course all the places I look to find them and I couldn't bother checking their  own homes" Snowflake walks towards Rave's home and knocks on the door

Rave hears the knock and presumes that there are more royal guards. He instinctively blasts the door with dark magic. "I SAID GET OUT. HOW MANY OF YOU DO I HAVE TO KILL?". Rave's eyes were glowing green, green smoke coming out of his eyes. His mane had turned black. He had grown some fangs. Rave is full of rage.

 Snowflake remembers his hood and facewrap are missing "don't be alarmed its just me..." Snowflake says to himself "seems I' am too late your already being consumed by this dark magic..... I don't even know if my potions can save you now Rave." "Where is Sparkle and Melody, while I was missing I found the Foalnappers hideout we need to move quickly before he flees"

"They are of no concern now. They have betrayed me. Some pony named Seven came and turned them against me. Probably used some kind of magic" Rave mumbled. "I am aware of the Foalnapper. Seems that my brother is aligned with him. He helps him. Don't ask me how I got that information. That is none of your concern. I am quite busy". Rave turned away from Snowflake, ignoring him.

"Oh fine melody I'm leaving" sparkle ran through the streets of ponyvill "when a pony wishes to be alone they lock themselves in sparkle ran as fast as his legs would carry him. When he reached Raves house he burst in through the door " RAVE YOUR WRONG JUST BECAUSE I CAN'T USE THEM DOESN'T MEAN I DON'T KNOW ABOUT SPELL BOOKS! LISTEN TOO ME RAVE THIS ISN'T YOU YOU HAVE TOO STOP THIS YOU'VE JUST RAN THROUGH TOWN KILLING GUARD PONIES INOCCNT GUARDS DOESNT THAT MEAN ANYTHING TOO YOU!? YOU KNOW DARK WAS RIGHT YOU AREN'T TOO BE TRUSTED I COULD JUST GO AND GET A GUARD TELL THEM WHERE YOU ARE AND WHAT YOU'RE DOING AND YOUR GOING TO GO TO JAIL FOR THE REST OF YOUR LIFE JUST STOP WE CAN WORK THROUGH THIS ALL YOU NEED TOO DO IS PUT THE BOOK BACK IN THE LIBRARY PLEASE I NEED YOU! I need you!"

Rave turned his head slowly again. "More interruptions? We never seem to get to rest. Please Sparkle, just go away, before you hurt yourself. I don't want to hurt you. Oh and Snowflake is here as well. Hey Snowflake, the pony you were looking for is here. Both of you go, please". Rave's horn was starting to go orange red.

"No I'm not leaving Rave not until you get rid of that book its done things too you three days ago you weren't like this you we're completely normal but then you found that book its done something that isn't natural the Rave I know wouldn't run through town killing ponies he would do whatever is best that's why your helping . remember our goal? To save every pony from the foalnapper our goal isn't too sit here arguing about returning a book for your sake. Remember when black Forest got out or when I was trapped under piles of books. We never gave up did we? Like I said I'm your friend and a good friend helps a good friend so please I'm not going too ask again for the sake every pony get rid of that book!"

Rave began to shake as tears formed in his eyes. Memories went through his head. "I'm not going to be returning this book to Celestia. She has no claim on it. It does not belong to her. If I get rid of it, someone else might misuse it's power. I can't allow that to happen. What if Blackforest found the book. It would be a disaster. I can send it to a secret location. But it's effects will not go away right away. I will look likes this for a long time. I want to save those foals. But those guards keep getting in the way. They will not stop now. Celestia would never have forgiven me even if I returned the book. She knows I'm not a Celestia loyalist. Plus with the death of 18 Royal guards, there is no turning back. I will help but I warn you, I am very unstable as of now. I have overloaded myself with dark magic". Tears were streaming down Rave's face.

"RAVE LISTEN TOO ME I KNOW WHAT THAT'S LIKE OK WHAT YOUR SEEING UNDER THIS HELMET IS STILL ME I FEAL THE SAME BUT IM NOT THE SAME! WHEN THIS FIRST HAPPENED I HAD TO LIVE WITH IT UNTIL I WORKED OUT I DIDN'T HAVE TOO I FOUND A CURE! IT'LL BE THE SAME WITH YOU! YOUR EXPERIENCING PERSONALLTY CHANGES LIKE WITH ME THIS GUYS IS BRAVER THAN ME AND STRONGER THAN ME" Sparkle removed his helmet and changed back glowing again" see cure! Now if we work out yours you don't have to hide trust me we're one and the same you and I like twins separated at birth! I'll send a letter too Celestia she's normally understanding all though I technically prefer Luna but meh it should get the guards of your back now about this cure you say its from dark magic for me it was hate and dispear along with other bad stuff so my cure was well friendship what's the opposite of dark magic? "

"Dark magic is formed with hatred and fear. With despair and pain. With grief and anger. With corruption. With MURDER. It goes against the laws of nature. It twists everything. It ruins. I believe there is no cure. Celestia can not forgive murder. It goes against the laws of nature. Plus one of her enemies is loose, Blackforest. I--.. " Rave began to shake again. "Finish him you fool, don't let the opportunity slip away" Rave said to himself. It was clear he was going mad under the pressure of dark magic.

"Snowflake get behind me don't ask any questions just do it" Sparkle drew his sword "Rave snap out of it I don't want too do what I fear I have to. But if I do I want you to know... I've never had a better friend and no pony could replace you " a few small tears drop out of sparkles eye's and drip onto the ground "please I know your in their . come on Dude you can do this . I don't want to hurt you ."

(Sorry I'm so behind everypony. Kit just went to sleep and when I got online all this had happened. I'll do my best to keep up though.)

 

Melody raced after Sparkle and Rave as fast as she could. She slowed when she heard voices. [i should listen, know what I'm getting myself into.] She thought as she listened to the conversation. It soon became obvious that they were in danger. @[HELP THEM YOU IDIOT!] She thought as she jumped up, and raced over to Sparkle and Snowflake. She stopped short as she saw the sword. "What?! No! Sparkle, he's under dark magic! You can't kill him, he's not himself! We just.... I don't know. Maybe we can find a unicorn that can cure him. Snowflake, you can fight, right? Whatever happens, don't let them kill each other. Sparkle, don't. Unicorns can probably help, we don't need to have swords involved in this. Not yet at least. Rave, just keep trying. We're trying to help, but theres only so much we can do." [This whole things downhill, and what have I done about it? Nothing, absolutely, nothing. Not anymore. I'm NOT letting any of them hurt each other.]

"I'm not going to kill him he said something about finishing " him" he's like me except he doesn't know his cure but its probably the opposite of Dark magic because that's what made him like this but I don't know anything about it "sparkle had a deep thought " I wonder if you have an alternative form snowflake I mean if you could super power your magic you could take him down and possibly end this so snowflake what do you hate the most? Or maybe even you melody or ugh I give up this'll never work ever!"slams head of helmet trying to think "I don't know I just don't know what too do! "Lies on back" why!? Why did this happen "

"Thank you Sparkle, I'm sorry" Rave said, giving Sparkle a warm smile. Then he roared in pain as black magic seeped through him. He shot a few dark magic bolts towards the trio. Green flames started erupting all around him. Darkness seeped from him. "IT ENDS HERE" Rave yelled.

"Look out!" Sparkle jumps up and starts to run around the house trying to avoid the bolts before he faces a locked door "RAVE WHY THE HELL DO YOU LOCK DOORS INSIDE YOUR HOUSE!? "(Oh #&%* why did it have too be dark magic why couldn't it be something easy to deal with like he had some strange obsession with kitten's but no because this is Rave and now were all going too die perfect ) a few of the bolts get closer (I mean really why Cary on killing ponies this brings the total to 21 21... Perfect ) the bolts get closer by the second " RAVE NOW WOULD BE A GREAT TIME TO STOP BEING CRAZY "sparkle used his helmet to try and stop some of the magic "RAVE CAN YOU EVEN HEAR ME!? RAVE!!!!!!!!!"

Rave was struggling. "I can't control it, but I can delay it". The bolts seemed to be going in slow motion. "Use this time to get out. Perhaps you will have figured out. It is too dangerous to be around me at the moment. GET OUT". The bolts seemed to be trying as hard as they could to go faster but Rave was holding them back. "Foolish little ponies. How dare you try and control me" Rave said to himself. "They are my friends" Rave answered to himself.

Sparkle slipped on his helmet and slid underneath before grabbing on of Melody's hooves and pulling her out with him before looking through the window to find Snowflake "hmm where could he be men I never really liked him anyway i wouldn't mind if he got killed by one of those bolts wait what am I talking about? OH NO THIS IS BAD!" (Has Rave got to me why did I wish Snowflake got killed and more importantly why did I like the thought of him dieing?)

Snowflake being loyal decides not to move without Rave in result the bolts hit him causing him to fly back in extreme pain worse then the moment he lost his eye and then Snowflake exhales his last breath... 

 

"Snowflake..." "errng,... Ember?" "Snowflake" "Ember! I thought I'd never see you again... I missed you so much" "Snowflake your dead like me" "Yeah so it seems I always knew being a mercenary would cost my life, but I never really cared about it not even the money all I wanted was to see your face again, sister" "Snowflake the people of Equestria need you" "no I'm not leaving I don't want to lose you again" "maybe one day brother we can rest together in peace but for now the people need you breathe Snowflake"

 

*inhales* Snowflake awakens to see Melody and Sparkle standing by him

Rave summoned forth the book and started to consume a lot of dark energies from it. Darkness literally flowed from the book and into Rave. "The power, the power. Yes. It feels so warm, so good. I will be able to revive you Sombra. This I swear". Dark crystals sprouted from the floor around him.

"Ugh why can't you just die already ? Do you want me too help?" It was becoming clear that sparkle is beginning to hate snowflake. Before he grabes his chest plate and throws it directly at Snowflake's face "just die and stay dead!" Sparkle sits down on the ground and is just perfectly quite

Snowflake gets on his hooves and injects himself with a pure red tonic "ernng looks like I'm not ready to die just yet" Snowflake looks at his cloak and notices its ruined he then uses his magic and teleports it most likely to his house "oh and Sparkle" Snowflake hits Sparkle as hard as he can "throwing that metal at me while I was barely alive could of killed me"
