LyraBon canon?

So, by now you've probably seen Rainbow Rocks, either by theater, airing on Discovery Family, or Bluray. If you have, you probably noticed this, and I'd like your opinions on it (Note: I am a fan of LyraBon, but this is a bit weird):

It's an alternate universe, so not necessarily cannon in the prime MLP-verse.

 

Of course a lot of parallels happen as well, but I'd say; still just good friends.

I know, but those eyes and that grin. It doesn't seem that straight. Also, IDK why, but I kind of wanted to hear some of the songs made by the bands that were shown during Under Our Spell, especially that one, considering Lyra is best background pony, even though my about me suggests that I think Button Mash is.

Yeah, when I saw this scene, I immediately paused, closed up, made a screenshot and... waited for my brain to reboot :-J And then my first thought was: "Really, Hasbro? You cut off Derpy for being 'retarded', but you're not scared to put this? ... Nice going! I predict shitstorms for the next month..."

 

This scene is short and can go unnoticed. But still it is a kind of a breakthrough, because I would never expect them to put such thing in a children's cartoon. And I'm happy to see how smart they did it: without showing anything too obvious, but still visible; not pushing it down my throat like some LGBT advocates tend to do, but subtle and intimate, as sexuality should be. I find this scene warm and amusing, and that's how the fruits of love should be, so I'm OK with this.

Eh, I'm pretty sure it's just ship teasing and not really making the ship canon but see it anyway you wish.
