The fancy-dressed elder crystal pony looks just as confused as Quick. "Heh. You yougins sure do know how to have fun. Here you go, it's yours." He gives them his map. "I've got plenty."

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
As Bronze talks, Trilby's horn glows and he fiddles with something, half paying attention. "Huh? Oh, yeah, right. Sure."
But one thing Bronze says catches his attention. "Me? Actually Bronze, it's YOU who doesn't have to do this." When Bronze turns around, Trilby puts a stylish straw hat on his head; the same straw that he found outside that is native only to the crystal empire. It has just enough flare that it could double as either a sun hat or dress hat. "That's your heritage, Bronze. Not this place. So I'm happy to do this for a friend. This isn't a burden to me at all. It's an adventure." Trilby says, giving him a gift as if it were just an every day courtesy.
As they get to work, Trilby halfheartedly does his job. He walks deeper and deeper into the mine, casually picking at random walls and random places with his mining pick, not expecting to find much. It's almost like he can't decide on one spot that he wants to dig at. "I hope a zombie or a big green monster doesn't come running out at me..." Trilby jokes as he explores.
And yet, minutes later, in a moment of dumb luck...
"Hey Bronze! Is one of these cave walls suppose to look like a door?!" Trilby cause out. Somehow, through random digging and picking, he has found an jeweled door that was too fancy to just be there. It has no handle or nob, but it definitely looks like a door.
Drake smiled at the elder before picking it up with his claws. "Thanks!" He said before turning to the other two.
"So, we're going to the mine now?" Quick Thought said, still rather dazed from the little 'Moment' the Unicorn and Dragon had.
"Yeah, that's what agreed on, didn't we?" Drakk said as he turned to Quick. "Drake here can navigate us to it" He continued as he pointed to Drake with a hoof.
Drake nodded. "Well, let's go, then!" He said with a little jump as he walked in a direction. "Over here!l
Drakk looked at him, then shrugged with a slight smile. "Come on. Don't want to fall behind, huh." He said before trotting over to Drake, soon followed by Quick.
Bronze blinked in surprise at Trilby as he puts the hat on his head. He reached up to his new hat and fiddled with it while trilby started picking and finally laughed. "Wow, Trilby. You're a pretty great leader." Bronze started picking across the way from Trilby.
As Trilby heads deeper into the mines, Bronze tries his best to follow. "Be careful Trilby, this mine is seriously old... I think." Bronze starts racking his brain about how the mine fared in it's imprisonment before Trilby cried out to him and BRonze realized that Trilby had gone farther into the mine than he thought. "A door!?" he calls out trotting down the tunnel. He looks at the door after he caught up with Trilby. "It doesn't look like a normal door you'd find down here..." He looked at Trilby. "It couldn't be... could it?"
"Come on, just go in there!" said 462, as he pushed his companions off of their hooves and into the mines. This time he was disguised as an old crystal empire miner, with a dirt brown coat and a messy white mane.
Meanwhile, outside the mine, it seems Gear somehow got Natrolite to speak up about his back story. And the minute he started speaking, Gear sneaks off to read a book or something. Either way, if he's telling a story, he'll be too busy to notice others sneaking in.
Someone or somepony PROBABLY should keep him busy, make sure he keeps telling his story so he'll stay distracted.
"Honestly, it's not about Bronze... I think he was just the final straw that broke me. So many younger crystal ponies these days have forgotten how we struggled in those mines... They also forgot about the heroes of old after being saved by Spike and the Elements of Harmony..." Natrolite begins, having a flash back of days forgotten~
"Back when Sombra was in power, all of us crystal ponies were nothing more than his slaves. Many of us worked in the mines to unearth more riches for him. Not all of us enjoyed it..." Natrolite narrates, remembering a group of underground soldiers. "I worked with
Tanzanite, Bronze's father. Together, we were staging a coup against Sombra with as many willing ponies as we could find!" As he continues, he remembers the soldiers fighting with everything they had, but were unable to stop Sombra or his magic. "Though we tried, we failed. And despite our bravery, not only were we humiliated and made examples of, our fellow crystal ponies rejected us for failing." He remembers images of the soldiers being shamed by being paraded through the streets, having to lift heavy weights alone, and then having their heads and forehooves strapped to wooden stocks.
"We all took it in silence. Though we tried and failed a few times, we took it in stride. Because in the mines, ponies were working themselves to death. Little food, hardly any water, and the mines were often collapsing in on each other. It felt like a pony was dropping every day, including somepony who became close to my heart...."
In his memories, a younger version of Natrolite is seen working near the entrance of the mine that Bronze and Trilby are currently in. The entrance is mostly boarded up, save for a few gaps from shoddy craftsmanship. As he works, he sees a young filly sitting near the entrance, happily looking through a gap so she can see and admire the moon. "Uncle Nathan, you think we'll get to see the outside world some day?" She asks him. Younger Natrolite smiles, stops working, and sits beside her. "Yeah, I think we definitely will some day. Princess Celestia and Princess Luna would never let this continue forever." Natrolite says. "Tell me again about the outside, uncle Nathan..." She says, scooting closer. Younger Natrolite cuddles with her. "Well, the outside is full of grass and wonderful pastures... The city is a shining wonder of great houses with a castle towering over them, and the endless blue sky--"
"That filly was my niece. She lost her parents in the mine shortly after birth. She was like a daughter to me, and I was all she had. Even though she dreamed of it, she never got to see the world outside of the mines. Sombra made sure of that... Sombra made sure of that..." Natrolite finishes remembering, his flashback ending. "No one cared about how hard we had to fight, or what we lost. When we were liberated, everypony just asked us to forget, to just pretend like it never happened at all. ... Excuse me." Natrolite steps away to cover his face, and his pain.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

"I don't know... But maybe it is! Sombra's secret treasure room! Maybe there's enough treasures inside to make all of Equestria rich!" Trilby says. It looks like there are 3 slots to put hooves in. Taking a chance, that's what Trilby and Bronze do, and they can hear it unlocking the door like a vault safe! And it even reveals a handle near the bottom of the door. It seems this door needs to be pushed upwards to be opened, and two ponies might not be strong enough to do that.

"Hmm?" By that point, Trilby hears something. He turns around. From where he is standing, the mine entrance/exit looks REALLY tiny. "Lorec!!! Is that you?!?! We could use some help in here!!!" Trilby calls out. He might be able to help!

After an hour of trotting/walking while chatting about personal topics, they had reached a point where they saw the mine in the close distance.

Drake pointed towards the mine with one claw while he used the other to hold up the map. "There it is!" He said excitedly.

Quick trotted up next to him, slight smile on her face. "Yeah, that looks like it"

And finally, Drakk decided to trot past them towards the mine. "Well, let's go then. No point in standing here and staring at it." He said, sounding a tad bit irritated.

Quick and Drake looked at eachother, shrugged, then followed.

Once they neared the mine, they saw some figures standing around on the outside. Thinking they're probably the ones operating the mine, Drakk decided to speak up. "Hey! Is this one of the mines around the empire?" He shouted hopefully loud so they could hear.

(Sorry this wasn't out sooner. I have been very distracted lately)

It looks like either Syuren or someone from Drakk's party may have to help keep Natrolite distracted. That is, until he notices more people showing up. "Hmm? Excuse me, who are you? Are any of you acquainted with Bronze or that mad hatter pony? Furthermore, ... Is that a weapon?!?!" Natrolite begins questioning, then notices Syuren's spear. "What is the meaning of-- Wait! Why are some of you going into the mines? HEY! You can't just barge in there. This is Crystal Empire property, you know!"

But when his ranting doesn't stop anyone, Natrolite starts to follow them into the mine. "If you want something done right, you might as well do it yourself..." Looks like someone might have to hold this pony back. Even if some of Trilby's friends are just meeting him for the first time, he clearly has some mixed up priorities.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Down below, Lorec manages to meet up with Bronze and Trilby first. "Ready to do this, big guy? This could be the greatest discovery in Equestria yet!"
With Lorec's help, the unlocked vault door is pushed upwards, disappearing into the mine's stone ceiling. Indeed, valuable jewels of all colors and shapes come pouring out, but there is something more within the deep depths... The only warning they would get is the sound of a steam whistle, like the kind you'd hear on a train, followed by the sounds of chains clanging before they start snapping apart.
Coming out of the large chamber is a gigantic, stone golem with a body that resembles a suit of stone armor! Even his head looks more like an empty helmet, with two lit candles filling in the twin bell-shaped eye cavities. It also has metal shackles on its wrists and ankles, each with only a few lingering chain links still attached to each shackle. Oh, but gets worse. His chest and shoulder armor pieces are covered with multicolored pony heads, each made of stone and yet each one is squirming and moaning. In fact, on top of the golem's head, there is yet another stone pony head where there should be a plume. These cold, stone faces look so dead, and yet they also act like ponies that are in pain and anguish.
This giant, armor golem is so big, it makes even Lorec look like an action figure by comparison. And Naturally, Trilby's eyes go super wide, his ears lower, and he goes blue in the face. "Celestia, save us..." Trilby squeaks with fear. The golem grips its fist, steam comes out of it's mouth cavity as it roars like a train whistle again, and then tries to stomp on our 3 heroes.
@@Samurai Equine,  @,
Drake and Drakk got a slight smile at the sight of one of his colleagues. Finally, they're getting somewhere. Quick, though, was a little wary around the unfamiliar pegasus, what with the spear strapped to him.
"Hi, Uh, Syuren, right? Good to see you" Drakk said, a little unsure of what to say to the winged pony since they hadnt spoken much
Drake jumped up to get a little attention. "So, you guys found something? Cause we've been in the blank, here." He said, a little eager to finally do something useful.
Quick slowly trotted forward. "I take it this is one of your friends?" She said, shifting her head to look at the unicorn and dragon.
Drake nodded. "Yep, thats right. There's usually a minotaur with him, called Rolec i think."
Drakk shuddered a little, then looked towards Quick to say somthing. "Anyway, i think we, should...Get going?" He said, looking at the shivering Crystal pony. She had her ears spread backwards, her legs were wobbling, her eyes were shrunken to pinpricks, and her whole body was quivering. "M-M-Mino,taur?" She asked, her voice shaky and scared.
Drakk, concerned, started to move to comfort Quick, but was interruped as Drake said something. "Uh, guys? Is that pony moving towards the mines?" He asked, pointing towards Natrolite.
Syuren smiled lightly, and nodded. Speaking in his tedious Bronx accent, he seemed eager to make himself acquainted with this group.
Syuren:
Bronze pratically drags Trilby along as he follows Lorec up the path out of the mines. "Hey! Are you sure that's a good idea? If it gets out of the mines it could escape and wreak some serious havoc in the empire! Can't we just case a cave in and trap it?" He looks back to see how close the golem was gaining.
Trilby is clearly shaken, but he snaps out of it when Bronze is the one to leap out of the way to save him before getting stepping on. "Oh! Bronze, thank you. Whatever that think is, I am NOT letting it take me or my friends! HA!" With a spinning flourish, Trilby has changed clothes! He now sports a brown jacket, a white shirt, a black whip, and a rather Indiana Jones-looking hat. "Stone monsters... Why did it have to be stone monsters?!"
Trilby runs back into the action and begins whipping the monster in the feet, but it's made of stone so it does very little but make the monster angrier. In fact, it begins stomping and bashing around the mine like a wild animal! And Trilby quickly notices that staying in one place could cause a cave in faster. So, he leaps in a minecart on a series of rails, rides off like a rollercoaster, uses his whip to grab large falling rocks and throw them at the monster, cleverly avoiding random lava pits and other random dangers, and all the while scat-singing an Inidiana Jones sound-alike melody. It's getting the monsters attention and making him rampage after Trilby, but...
It's kind of useless.
Trilby isn't leading him out of the mine, but he isn't getting that much deeper. The cart rails are mostly going in loops. Trilby, despite fighting his best, is really not making any progress. If anything, he's missing the point of trying to lure the monster out.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Mumbling to himself, Natrolite gets deeper into the mine. "Can't get a single thing done... And what's with the rumbling? I asked them to find some some crystals, not turn this place upside dow--OOF!!!" About that time, Natrolite bumps into Lorec and nearly falls over.

"Hey! You're one of Trilby's friends from earlier, and..." Natrolite is interrupted when he hears that bellowing train whistle sound. He looks into the mine and finally he can see the golem. "...What in Equestria have you done?!?!" Natrolite takes a few steps forward, but he stops when he sees the stone pony statue on top of the golem's head. In that moment, everything slows down, and his heart sinks into his throat. "...Lina? Niece, is that you?" Natrolite says.

At that moment, the rampaging golem stops. All the stone pony sculptures attached to its body stop moaning. It turns toward Natrolite, and then all the stone sculptures begin making angry moans. "YOU!" The stone pony at the top of the golem says. It runs towards Natrolite and slams its fist down, knocking Natrolite off balance and making him fall over. It leans in so Natrolite can see the top most pony statue. "Our spirits are trapped here because of ponies like you! Your excessive greed and hubris binds us here." The stone pony explains, with a voice that sounds like a little filly's voice mixed in with demonic moans. "Greed?! Hubris?! I... I was honoring your memory! I was keeping your legend alive because no pony else would! Because Sombra made us nothing!" Natrolite pleeds.

"And in doing so, your soul is on the verge of becoming just like Sombra, corrupt. And it is that kind of vile that feeds our restless RAGE!" With no further warnings, the monster rises up and begins to smash the area up. Natrolite gets up and tries to get away, only to be kicked hard out of the way and slam against a mine wall. Some of the debris is shielding him for now, but he might need help. Bronze is closest to where he was kicked.

Lorec couldn't have helped with natrolite's or trilby's situation. Trilby was to fast for lorec to stop, and Natrolite should have fled when he had a chance. Assessing the situation quickly, Lorec drew from context clues to figure out what he was dealing with. It was a golemn, made of stone. A possessed golemn, with sentience of multiple conciouses. It was angry, and it had a past with natrolite. The space they were in could give way to a collapse, killing most in the vicinity if it came down to a fight. Lorec came to a conclusive answer; have Syuren vanguard the others, and try to reason with the golemn through fear of preservation failure. If that didn't work... Willingly blow his and Syuren's cover and attempt to defeat it with minimal to no casualties. Lorec yelled. " Syuren! Get down here! We have a situation!"

Without hesitation, Syuren took off into the mine, holding off his conversation with drake and drakk for another time. He descended into the mine, flying fast and low, of course. " Lorec! I'm commin'!". Syuren at least knew when to cut the crap when Lorec yelled for help. He landed near natrolite, ready to draw his spear. " Aight, what's u-.. Oh your god, Lorec, what is that?!?"

Lorec responded. " no time to explain. Get Bronze and the other one out of here! I'll deal with this!

Syuren yelled in a disappointed, yet confident manner. " kill it quick! I'm hungry!"

@Bright Bastion

Syuren looked at Bronze, and then at Natrolite. " Hey, man. Lorec has this in the bag! Scoop up your buddy off the ground like fake dog crap and I'll make sure ya get out safe! Hurry, Lorec might bring down the whole mine to beat that thing! Unless, you all can fight! Wait... Where's trilby..."

------------

Lorec stood in front of this golemn. Fists clinched, solemn but resolute visage upon his brow.

" listen, creature. I do not know by what mechanizations you came to be, but I will tell you this. Stand down... Or I WILL end you!" Only the golemn would see it. Lorec's eyes, glowing a brownish yellow. Faintly, but still there. Did the golemn dare challenge the minotaur, and the mysterious force he carried with him? He didn't bother to draw his sword. He raised his fists, ready for the golemn to swing.

As Trilby created his distraction Bronze couldn't help but be scared for him. Lorec could probably feel that he was starting to panic. but that feeling paled in comparison when the golem suddenly went silent. It stomped over and knocked Bronze to the ground as it tore into natrolire with its accusations, but at each one bronze took a step back becoming more and more terrified by the moment.

Bronze looked over the golem and was terrified to see that some of the golems sickly armor reminded him of ponies he knew. Whether they really were or not he didn't dare ask. But when the golem finally raged again and struck natrolite he turned to stone, too frightened to move. It seemed that the golems words struck at Bronze as much as they had natrolite. He only snapped out of his daze just as Syuren said dog crap.

"N-natrolite?" Was all he could manage as he finally dug him out. "Say something. Anything!"

Natrolite groans as he lies on the ground. "I think I broke a leg..." Natrolite turns over to look at the golem, but he sees Bronze first. "Bronze? Are you... worried about MY well being?" As he looks back and fourth at Bronze and the golem being held back, he cannot help but feel confusion. "I... I never meant for any of THIS to happen! I just... I just wanted some pony to remember what we had to go through. No pony ever told us 'Thanks for trying' or 'Sorry for your losses'. Was it really so wrong to carry these memories for so long...?" Natrolite asks.

He waits for Bronze to answer him. He nods and takes everything he has to say. "You're right, Bronze. I'm... sorry. For all this. This wasn't about you. This was about me not being able to move on." Reaching into his inner suit jacket pocket, Natrolite pulls out an Anti-Harmony Gem! Natrolite lied, he had it with him this entire time! "Here, it's yours." He passes it to Bronze. It is mostly square in shape, The gem itself is a foggy, powder blue crystal of some kind; but it also has a metal center with the roman numeral II chiseled into it.

...And the moment Bronze takes the gem into his hoof, the magic of the gem activates! It has found its user, and upon request, it transforms into an enchanted bow and arrow! There is only one arrow, but that's all Bronze needs. Somehow, he knows that the bow will seek out and hit whatever target he is focused on.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Meanwhile, Trilby, and Lorec are doing their best to keep the monster at bay. Lorec's might punches are definitely chipping away at the golem's armor and making it back up, but the golem is still as angry as ever. If it cannot attack a specific target, the golem will attack the mine itself! ...Until it is blinded by a random fireworks rocket?
Looks like Trilby had an ace up his sleeve. "Well, that was my 1 and only New Years bottle rocket. If we don't do something else soon, this place is going to cave in on top of us. ...Suggestions?" Trilby asks nonchalantly.
Bronze lifts the last of the rubble from him as he looks between him and the golem. But Bronze shakes his head at his question and looked at him sadly."Syruen, can you get a hold of Trilby? Get him out of here too." He turns back to Natrolite and lends him a hoof trying to help him stand. "No, it's not. What happened to us and our ponies, it shouldn't be forgotten. It shouldn't be pushed away and hidden. But, to everypony that isn't you me or any of the other crystal ponies, our lives are ancient history. When we came back from our imprisonment, everypony thought we were just rumors and folktales." He puts Natrolite's front hoof over his shoulder to let Bronze hold his weight. "While I traveled around, no pony else knew about the pain we went through and ... I'm ashamed of it, it took some burden off of my shoulders, like the terrible things that happened were just rumors and folktales... But I wasn't moving on, I was running away. Those ponies made me feel like nothing had happened and that was despicable of me. You stayed and tried to help. This isn't your fault. N-no... No matter how much that golem tries to tell you it is. So you can't feel that way. You're important to all of us, you're helping to make us a people that can stand on their own again, along with my dad and most of the other ponies..."
"Natrolite ... thank you." Bronze took the gem and was about to lead Natrolite from the golem before the gem sparkled and grew in his hoof. He helped Natrolite lean against one of the mines many braces and tilts his hat back. "One shot. I can't screw this up." He reared back on his hind legs, pushed his new straw hat out of his view and got the arrow notched. He aimed his bow, even though he was confidant that it wouldn't matter, and shot the arrow.
"Natrolite ... thank you." Bronze took the gem and was about to lead Natrolite from the golem before the gem sparkled and grew in his hoof. He helped Natrolite lean against one of the mines many braces and tilts his hat back. "One shot. I can't screw this up." He reared back on his hind legs, pushed his new straw hat out of his view and got the arrow notched. He aimed his bow, even though he was confidant that it wouldn't matter, and shot the arrow.
One magical shot was all it took.
As the arrow takes flight, leaving a sparkling light show trail behind it, it flies towards the angry golem. At the moment, the golem is about to make the final attack that will make the entire mine cave in completely. However, it doesn't get the chance when it sees the arrow flying towards it. The golem only gets a split second to turn its head before the arrow pierces and shatters the head completely.
The golem freezes. The various pony head statues on its body go silent. Large cracks appear and begin to grow on its body. Trilby knows where this is going. "Lorec, MOVE!!!" And the two of them quickly run out of the way as the golem falls apart, shattering into pieces. The curse that gave it life has been purified, and thus it can live no longer. As for any treasures that were found in the treasure room that sealed the golem away; they turn into rocks, leaving hardly any treasures worth keeping.
The arrow, having achieved its goal, returns to Bronze. His Anti-Harmony gem returns to its original gem-shaped form. However, before anyone can leave, Bronze and Natrolite see something in front of them. Spirits. The ghosts of all the ponies who died in the mine. And they all seem happy. "The anchor that kept us here has been broken. Please, let history learn from us, not suffer from us. You all worked so hard that we could all have freedom and a future. You've won that battle. You should be happy! Live your lives and enjoy the world we never got to. Life for us, and for yourselves." The spirit of a little filly says. There comes a pause. Natrolite isn't sure when to say, but he does his best to hobble over to the spirits. "I will. I promise you. I'll always miss you, but... I won't be sad anymore, my little Tourmalina."
"Thank you, uncle! And thank you, brave warriors." The ghost of Tourmalina happily states. All the ghosts nod with big grins on their faces. Finally, they turn away, and their spirits ascend. They can finally rest in peace. The crisis is over. "Come on, everypony. Let's get out of here." Trilby says, taking lead once more.
Lorec lowered his fists and his eyes returned to their normal state. He absolutely prayed that none of the others had noticed, or he and syuren would have a lot of explaining to do. Lorec spoke out loud, observing his knuckles while doing so. They were bloody and battered behind the bandages. But then again, it didn't even hurt. This wasn't Lorec's first dance with his fists and he was sure glad that it wasn't the last.
" hmmmm... Interesting." Lorec said in a stoic voice. " vengeful spirits in a single body and a magical object that is powerful enough to destroy said creature... Just what could that mysterious pony want with that kind of power, and can we even trust him with it once obtained?..." He spoke loud enough for everyone to hear. Surely, they were not blind to the fact that this arrow, this object that Bronze had been chosen by... It had immense raw magical power. " at any rate, our work is done. We should probably leave before others show up."
Syuren was still standing near Natrolite and Bronze, with his jaw dropped. He looked at bronze, smiled, and exclaimed praise towards him. " DUDE! BRONZE! That was sick! Can you like, do that again? You one-shotted that thing like a book one-shots Lorec!"
Lorec heard that statement and was less than pleased. " Syuren, quiet yourself! I can read and write in my own language!"
Syuren chuckled and mimicked a poorly executed eastern accent. " poor engrish reading skills! How do you even speak engrish?"
Lorec answered. " you already know that Alrahm taught me. By the way, that voice you're making is culturally offensive. Shut up."
(I am terribly sorry for not writing anything, but I've kinda gotten very busy. And since life hates me, it hasn't really given me much free time. So, again, I'm sorry. And dammit, I missed the epic fighting. Oh well, I guess. Can't do much about it)
Drakk, Drake and Quick watched as Syuren flew into the mines, followed by a lot of rumbling.
"S-should we follow?" Drake asked, not taking his eyes off the mine entrance.
"... Let's go" Drakk simply said, suddenly galloping towards the mine, shortly followed by the other two.
~~~A few moments later~~~

The trio were right now hiding behind a boulder while covered in a veil of Invisibility, watching their 'partners' have a fight with a big stone golem that had statues of pony heads on it. Drake was shivering, not willing to move outside of the protection of the Boulder. Drakk was watching the dilemma with a little worried expression, unsure of what to do. Meanwhile, Quick was trying to get the three of them over there to help.

"Why aren't we helping?! Your friends are fighting something and you two are just fine with hiding behind a rock, letting them get hurt!" Quick shout-whispered, glaring at Drakk and Drake.

Drakk looked at Quick momentarily before turning his head to the fight again. Currently, Trilby and Lorec were trying to keep the Golem away, the Minotaur chipping at it with punched and Trilby suddenly shooting a firework rocket. "We aren't really doing anything because there isn't really much to do. I'm not not specialized in open combat, even though I know a few spells. And I don't think Drake can really do much to that thing, much less willing to get close to it." He said, a small amount of panic in his voice. "I could try shooting something at it, but I dont know if it has any weaknesses. Might aswell be useless."

Quick huffed, annoyed at feeling useless. She looked out from behind the Boulder, secretly hoping the ponies(and Minotaur) were going to be alright, even though she didn't know them.

And suddenly, an arrow flew out of nowhere(From their perspective) and pierced the golem in its skull, pretty much blowing it up, and the rest shattering into pieces.

Quick, wide-eyed, watched as something suddenly appeared. "A-are those... Ghosts?" She asked, voice quivering.

Drake suddenly jumped up onto his feet, still shivering though. "G-ghosts?!" He asked, panic fully evident in his voice.

Meanwhile, Drake just remained calm, though if you watche'd closely, you could see shock in his eyes. "More like spirits... And they're gone." He said, watching as they dissapeared after saying something they quite couldn't hear. Drake sighed in relief, Quick calmed down a little, and Drakk decided It was time to leave their cover. "Alright, let's see how the other are after that. Hopefully they won't be too mad..." He said, removing the veil of invisibility and trotting out from behind the rock, followed by Quick and a jumpy dragon.

The group trotted over to Trilby, Drakk in the lead. "H-Hey, Trilby!" Drakk said as they reached him. "How's it going? Uh, d-did we miss much...?" He said somewhat awkwardly, not really knowing what to say, while rubbing the back of his neck with a hoof. Quick huffed, clearly annoyed, then she laid her eyes on Lorec and her mouth dropped, almost instantly starting to shake. Drake was standing behind her, somewhat calmed down and currently trying to calm Quick down with what he considered comforting words, but really just making it worse.

Lorec turned toward where the golemn once stood, now gone from this world. Slowly, he walked toward the spot where the golemn had been felled. As he did so, he reached for a small pouch, strung up to his tunic belt, and reached inside. He pulled out three items. Two of them were gold coins. The third... Was a wood carving, more specifically, an idol, taking the shape of a Minotaur with what seemed to be holding carved versions of a shotel and a straight sword. The base of the carving showed the face of what seemed to be a Saddle Arabian. The knelt over the spot where the golemn last stood, and placed the idol there with the two gold coins placed to either side of said idol. Lorec looked at the idol, and spoke in a foreign tongue. His own.

"kan dine guder vise dig vejen til paradis, fortabte sjæle.

død, føre disse sjæle sikkert. disse mønter betaler for at åbne portene til den anden side. Gør krigergud, Nulväk,

og hans svoret, Ciratha, beskytte og velsigne alle."

( may your gods show you the way to paradise, lost souls. Death, lead these souls to safety. These coins are paying to open the gates to the other side. May the warrior god Nulväk and his sworn Ciratha bless all.)

It was clear that this was a rite from Lorec's culture. A somewhat denominational passage, asking that his gods work with theirs to bring them to their paradise. He rose from his kneeling position, and turned around, walking back towards the group, bandages soaking up blood from his knuckles. He'd need to find some more, soon enough, lest he risk infection. Syuren had watched this in silence, slightly bowing his head, showing the first bit of reverence for the first time during the journey. Lorec was his best friend after all, and this was the least he could do to show his appreciation. Ignoring all else, he trotted next to Lorec and spoke.

" Lorec. Man, next time, let me fight too! I'm gettin' real tired of the whole lone wolf hero stuff! Your my friend, man! And ya know I can't just sit back while ya get hurt! Ren doesn't let his buddies get hurt!"

Lorec simply kept looking on ahead, not bothering to look down at syuren. " Syuren, what if the arrow that Bronze shot wasn't with him? What if he and his companion were not reinforced? Ren, you're my sworn, as I to you. But you need to understand that sometimes working together means working apart."

Syuren simply scoffed. " yeah, yeah, whatever. By the way, Im all for freedom of religion, but don't ya think that wasting a good bit of our last commission is overboard? You know Alrahm Undegarments and Kaz wouldn't approve...."

Lorec faintly smiled. " Alrahm is too book-snouted to care and Kazas... Well... Kazas doesn't have to know. For now, we are done here.

@@Lord Bradley

Lorec, heading back towards the group with syuren, noticed a female pony, afraid of him. Looks like old fears and stereotypes die hard, he thought to himself. Heading straight towards her, he reached into his pouch once more. Another carving comes out. This time, it's a simple, small wooden slab with a very intricate leaf pattern carved into it. It was clear that Lorec had put heart and soul into carving these. He slowly walked, Syuren at his side, toward this pony. When he got close, he knelt down, smiled, and spoke.

" I know not why you fear me. But it doesn't matter, anyways. In my culture, trees, and even leaves have significance. They represent change. In season, and in life. I wish to give this to you, and change whatever fear you had, into assured safety. Go on, take it." He held out his hand, and with it, the leaf carving. Syuren looked at Lorec.

" bro... You. Are. Corny."

Bronze puts the gem away for the moment having a hard time reasoning with what he just did. Defeating a huge monstrosity single-handedly? He was positive he wasn't capable of that. Yet he did. He went to Natrolite and shouldered his weight again as they made their way out of the tunnels. Bronze didn't say much even if Natrolite or the others tried to talk to him. When Syruen approached him he was thankful for his and Lorec's small bout that distracted Syruen from his gem and gave him a little time to think. Then finally he called Trilby over as Lorec gave his charm to the Crystal Pony who was with them. "Trilby, I'll meet up with you later, but I think me and Natrolite need to have a little time. After all he needs a doctor."

Trilby was beginning to feel out of sorts. He honestly didn't know where to go first. Well, Bronze did win this battle, so...

"BRONZE! You did it, buddy!" He runs over and pats him on the back. "You got our first gem, you beat that thing, and..." Trilby stops when he notices more of his friends entering the mine. "DRAKK!! DRAKE!!" He gives Drakk a bro-hug and rubs Drake's head. "How have you been?! When did you get here?! And..." Trilby quickly notices Quick, and his eyes go wide and his heart sinks a little. "Who is this?" Trilby smirks.

With a twirl, Trilby is back in his normal clothes. He goes over to her, presents to her a flower, and kneels. "Greetings. My name is Trilby. Would you consider being my fashion model?" Trilby flirts, about to take her hoof and kiss it. However, he is stopped when he notices Lorec is up to something. He watches him say his prayer to the souls who have ascended. "...Oh! Let me translate. I am TOTALLY a master translator. ... He's saying he's hungry. I think he wants a bagel. Lorec could probably eat TONS of them..." Trilby whispers to his friends. Master translator? More like master of complete guesses. Still, when Lorec comes over, he respectfully lets him and Quick have their moment.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Together, the team begin to make the trek out of the mine. When they do, the old miner pony that Lorec and Syuren met earlier is there to greet them. "Hey! I know you..." Natrolite says. "Eh, yeah... Beg pardon for leavin' earlier before my shift was over. I finally relaxed and realized my fears and superstitions ain't grounds enough to be running away and leavin' this mine unguarded and whatnot." The miner pony says. They are about to say something, but Natrolite shakes his head no. It's best forgotten, what happened in there.
Natrolite hears Bronze mention something about some alone time, and that's when he shoves off Bronze. "No can do, Bronze. This employee is enough to make sure I get to a hospital. There's nothing we need to talk about. Besides... You are all going on adventure, right? That gem seems like it's part of something important." Natrolite says before the old miner pony helps shoulder him up. "OH! That's right, I almost forgot! You finally gave Bronze the gem! Thank you so much, Mr. Natrolite. This really means a lot to our journey." Trilby says, bowing respectfully.
Natrolite smiles and shakes his head. "Please. Call me Nathan. Only true friends get to call me that. Tourmalina use to call me that all the time..." Natrolite says.
Drakk got a small bit confused at the sudden hug Trilby gave him, and Drake just got annoyed at the head rub, saying "Stop it!" Over and over again.
"Well, we've actually sorta been hiding behind a ro-" Drakk said, trying to answer Trilby's question, but getting cut off almost instantly by said pony, asking who the third member of their little group was. Then before Drakk could answer, Trilby twirls around and changes clothes instantly and moves over to Quick, and begins talking.
Drake moved a little closer to Drakk. "Is he alright?" He asked him.
Drakk didnt move his head from Trilby's attempts at 'flirting'."...Yep. He's good." He said, turning his head to look at his saddlebag while magic-ing out a book with "Diary" written on top and "Journal" Written on the bottom, followed by a "Drakk Moonshine". Then, he began writing some stuff, Drake watching closely.
~~~Meanwhile, just a couple feet away~~~

Quick was thoroughly confused by the new pony that showed up and started saying stuff she almost didnt understand. She had completely forgot about the Minotaur. "Uh, excuse me, but Trilby? Can you-" She tried to say, but then the same Minotaur that she had been watching showed up, and she jumped, might have shrieked a little, and then started shaking like someone had been riding an Electric Hammer on her back. Then he took out a wood carving of a leaf. he knelt down, smiled, and spoke.

After the Minotaur had spoken, and his pegasus friend made a comment, Quick Thought had calmed down, if even just a little bit. She slowly took her hoof out, touched the carving carefully as if it was going to jump out and bite her, even more slowly got her grasp on it, and just as slowly brought it up to her face, examining it. What he said, followed by what he gave her, made her stop shaking after a small while, and she finally opened her muzzle. "T-Thanks." She managed, a small smile on her face. But, a part of her still feared the minotaur, so she settled with showing the Minotaur(Which she still didnt know)the smile she had on her face, and slowly trekked back to Drakk and Drake.

"H-Hey, guys." She said once she reached them, making Drakk take his eyes away from his book, nodding at her in acknowledgement, then began writing again. Drake, apparently, had somehow fallen asleep on Drakk's back.

Quick trotted over to Drakk, standing beside him so she could see what he was writing. "So, what're you doing?" She asked casually, seeing a multitude of words, the ones standing out being "Magical Arrow", "Cursed Golem", "Spirits Trapped", "Crystals" and "Unknown".

Drakk didnt bother looking up from the journal. "Just writing what we saw. Could be useful for further reference, and if not, well, it'll be memorable." He said, closing the book, apparently satisfied. He took a quick look around, stopping at the snoring dragon on his back, shaked his head, and turned back to Quick. "Shall we go?" He asked, Quick nodding, and both of them made their way to the rest, Drake happily sleeping on the uncomfortable bare-back of a pony.
