ShintX 180 November 27, 2014 Share November 27, 2014 Not in " I am fat" when you are not. The typical attention seeking bullet. But if you are. Then try to think about it this way. You can do all this cool stuff that not everyone is good at. Or be fun and awesome. So don't be too focused on how you look. Just keep on being awesome Either way, i just decided to make a thread dedicated to the typical self image training. I think its more important to build up a inner image than outwards. Yes, if its dangerous to your health if it goes overboard, thats one thing. But i see more the case of inner struggle to rid yourself of the awful stuff to be more important than this and that or what other thinks. Being useful also serves good purpose. Like what are you good at. What can you do. And the helpful ones are indeed the greatest of all. I hope i can be of use and do my best, even if i screw up at times.
3f11f3qwfr3q 20 November 28, 2014 Share November 28, 2014 i am not fat, far from for a matter of fact, but one of the hardest thing for some people is to learn to laugh at them selves and when you can do that you are on the path of not caring what people call you 2 Jebediah Kerman isn't the only one who likes multi-colored lights, loud music and snacks
Invincible 2,091 November 28, 2014 Share November 28, 2014 (edited) I always believe that if you can't love yourself and maintain a positive self-image, you won't be able to take candid compliments from others either. Image is important, but you should focus on loving yourself enough so that you won't be too self-conscious and be able to enjoy what's around you. Having too much self-admiration for yourself can be another kind of bad though, so it's something to be taken in moderation i suppose. Also, this should apply to everything in image, not just weight. But still. Guest November 28, 2014 Share November 28, 2014 An outer image is just as important, if not more, than an inner image. First impressions are everything.
sweetolebob18 728 November 29, 2014 Share November 29, 2014 I am not fat, it is just that, for some strange reason, the scale insists I weigh 70 lbs more than I did when I was 30. I don't have cheekbones anymore? I don't have all my hair or all my teeth, either. What's your point? Went channel surfing once & passed The Oprah Winfrey show. She said she went on a diet, not because she felt fat but because she had noticed that, when she sang, it was over. She also said that based on ratings the most significant thing she ever did in her life was tell people how to lose 20 lbs.

碇 シンジン 27,433 December 3, 2014 Share December 3, 2014 Im underweight and my self image is kinda unstable sometimes. I deny the bad things around me so they cant beat me and I face thwm when I'm more hsppier and stronger mentally. It has helped me to not fall into depression and I think I have made progress towards more stable self image. *hugs* Rarity Fan Club
Malinter 3,064 December 3, 2014 Share December 3, 2014 (edited) Nothing wrong with a bit of fat on a person, only when their weight is at a point where it will impact their health should it only be a concern. Some people will always be bigger than others, even if they exercise everyday. We're not one size fits all XD Being happy with yourself is the most important thing. What others think of you is only important if you think it is, although a little self care is good for both yourself and others around you all the same. ShintX 180 December 3, 2014 Author Share December 3, 2014 (edited) im fat not every one wants to be fat some of use have a hard time contolling it one way or another and we live in a superfical society that treats us like crap In my opinion it is a choice. I was fat, but started excercising because i had the will and motivation for it. But i still had plenty of fun. Motivation is the key to everything ^^. Aslong as you do your best then everything works out. But at one time i lost motivation because something went downhill, so now i am back to scratch. It can happen so suddently that things hits you, but you gotta try again no matter what hits you, just never give up.
