planning The Great Equestrian Wary

Colonists have invaded Equestria! We need Ponies to aid in the last defence against this new enemy. They wield powerful weapons such as Cannons, Rifles, Pistols, Axes, Maces and Swords. Luckily we managed to raid one of their camps in the north and steal some of this heavy firepower. Princess Celestia needs an army to defend Equestria, that army is you! All those willing to aid the last defence against invasion absolutely MUST be able to assist the army in battle. Or be able to manipulate their abilities so that they can help in some way. Either manipulate your skills to creat diversions or illusions to fool your enemies, or become a medic and heal the sick.

To sign up just type the name of the character you want to play or put in a link to your OC and I will check your details to see if you have da skillz, you will also have to put which weapon you want to use. If you pass the first test I will PM you saying what rank you start at, and which position you will be in. (Medic, Grenadier, Support, Scout/Spy e.c.t.). Unless you are a canon character, then you will use their abilities.

 

RP Rules: No Godmoding (refusing to be injured without good reason) , No controlling other characters, BE IN CHARACTER! (If your personality is overconfident, then be overconfident) . General RP rules also apply.

 

There are spaces for 8 more OCs, the mane 6, Princess Celestia and Discord (note, Discord will be a difficult character to play as because of how shifty he is with his personality). Current cast list is below:

I will be taking part in this RP. I am the General and narrator, I will introduce the battles and where they take place. I will also take part during the battles.

Well first for the two sides. ONe will obviously be ponies from Equestria =P... now for the other, we have two main groups:

a) A rebellion from within the country itself over some issue of your choosing

A force originating from outside Equestria. In the show we've been introduced to many mythological creatures, (griffins, sirens, sea serpents, dragons, etc) as well as made up ones such as the changelings. For mythology im pretty sure that more races of creatures will be introduced as time goes on so you could just check fantastic creatures and choose one..or teo...or a bunch. so we have

-changelings

-The cat army of Ali zorro (or something like that -->Daring Don't episode)

-Mythological...thing

-other ponies (it is said that the ponies reached equestria and set up a new nation were all races are friends... maybe some ponies remained behind in their factions meaning we could have other pony nations---> i always love europising ponies... Roman ponies-with legions...colonial ponies with guns and cannons and massive ship-of-the-lines... medieval ponies with crossbows and kni.... ahem..i got off track)

- And lastly... if u want stuff to go buck-wild you could have humans somehow reaching Equestria and colonizing it (Although this idea has been used a few times)

 

Now for the weapons it depends on the setting...

Past-Present-future and also on the enemy...

ex. If u went for the human scenario you could have magic vs guns... same goes for ponified europe but something tells me it aint too appealing.

Past.. is pretty much the same as present as we dont know too much about the differences between then and now...

And future...where you could go anywhere that imagination takes you.

 

The Great Equestrian War is set obviously in Equestria but I need help planning the other stuff like: Who is fighting in the war? Where are the two sides based? Where the battles will happen? What weapons are used? e.c.t. Is there anybody who could help me?

Well guys. Noponys joining up anymore so I am going to try to think of another Idea, with less spaces so we can get going faster. I'll post a link in this thread once I have set it up.
