How you became a fan of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic: A couple of days ago I was surfing tv and I came across MLP Equestria girls- Rainbow Rocks. At first I thought it was gay af and cheesy but I gave it a try anyways. I loved the characters and the songs so I decided to watch the tv show (friendship is magic) and I loved it as well. In one day I watched 13 episodes of season 1 and I can't wait to watch more. I think the reason I like it is because of its innocence (compared to all the sexual nature of other shows) and its simple humor. I know that other people won't get how awesome this show is and won't give it a chance (I know I wouldn't if before I watched it).

I'm a 15 year old guy that is pretty mainstream (watch inappropriate humour shows like family guy South Park that kind of stuff, listen to rap/pop/hip hop, like hot girls, watch and do inappropriate things but not drugs.) and my favourite is Rainbow Dash because she has the characteristics that I like in a girl: confident, chill, fun, sometimes cocky but can change, and unique. I don't know if I should I stop or not because i know other people won't understand.

I was looking at some Creepypasta videos and someone's fanfic popped out. I looked at it. Curious, I watched the first episode and I fell in love.

Hey, that just goes to show that MLP really is for ANYONE who is willing to give it a try, the characters are cute, the writing is decent, and overall it's just an excellent way to sit back and escape from the hustle and bustle of the real world while still getting a break from all the depressing gritty cop shows on the TV now days.

 

Anyway, so awesome that you found the place, people here are most generally awesome and I'm sure you'll fit right in and make a whole bunch of friends in no time, have fun and AS ALWAYS!

I found out about bronies and MLP on youtube, at first I was a bit meh, but after a bit I decided to give the show a try, so I watched it and loved it. At first I JUST watched the show and really didn't get too much involved into the actual fandom, but then I found this place and here I am, now and forever.

I love how unique each character is but still manage to connect to each other. It is refreshing how the characters are so innocent and pure. Equestria girls represents the characters as to how I would imagine how they would be like in real life. I admit it is sometimes cheesy but sometimes real life is cheesy as well. It is funny how I didn't know what I like in a girl until I met rainbow dash. Her 'dashing' personality has got mesmerized. The second Equestria Girls showed me what a real girl with Rainbow Dash's personality would be like and I think I'm in love lol.

Btw I heard that the new director is better than the last, is this true?

I think more people will be understanding than you suspect, but I've also noticed that the numbers vary with geography. What's acceptable in Arizona or California, may be unspeakable in Georgia or Alabama... *starts to over-think the statistics of acceptance versus geographic location, ears smoke, brain reboots, forgets about ALL that.*
