gaming Command and Conquer Renegade: a forgotten first person shooter

Renegade, a simple word that some people remember when mentioning renegade they think of well Command & Conquer Renegade of course some says it's bad in all but Renegade X took it's place and 1 problem NO ONE HAS HEARD OF THIS! not even me but... until now Renegade X we'll put off for now but command and conquer Renegade had online mode ok so during it's times you'd visit your coffee shop playing this online with everyone online BUT not until now... the servers today are a ghost town no one is on it why? 2 reasons Gamespy is down and Westwood Online is down so single player is only available...

I was never quite able to get into this game like I could the others. It seemed like it would be fun in principle, but maybe I just don't like FPS games...? I dunno. I was never around to play this game online in its heyday.

so true i enjoy the game but if you play this with a certain PC type the game will lag and speed up

Played the hell out of it during the beta -- back when you could down a chopper with four sniper rounds. They fixed that a little.

 

Probably the greatest thing was when someone managed 128 players on a server. Nod base was surrounded with mammoth tanks. That was a thing.
