Does build a bear usually have a good selection of mlp plushies?

I'm going to build a bear soon and I was wondering if they had a good selection. I live VERY far away from a build a bear (3 to 4 hours to be exact) and before I drive all the way there I wanted too see if they had a good selection

Referring to the Build a Bear stores that I have visited, they usually have 3 of the ponies in stock (usually the latest 3 released). However, I'm not sure this anecdote is sufficient to be used as a microcosm for the whole. Perhaps it would be a good idea to call the store ahead of your visit? That way you will be able to find out if they have what you're looking for.

I know they have some good mlp stuff online, but I don't know if that stuff is also in stores, though I'm sure what ever's on their web site will also be in stores, but not 100% sure though.

Probably depends on how big the store is and how much traffic it gets.

Bigger, more traffic = better selection, I'd imagine.

 

At my mall, it seems to be absolutely random. Not the biggest unit though. I don't pass it all that often, but it changes most times.

I think calling them before you take the trip would be a good idea.  What if you were to drive all the way there only to find out that they were sold out, or had ponies you didn't want as much as some others.

 

I've always ordered mine online, so I've still not been to a build a bear store, but maybe I'll go someday.

I find build a bear to be sooo expensive to dress them and everything. The plushies are great don't get me wrong but you can get a nicer plush for quite a lot cheaper.
