i never get why these guys were horses as apposed to ponies they look really out of place too. Are they royalty? anyone know anything about them?

They also appeared in Equestria Games, near the princesses, so maybe they are royalty.

Okay. Hmmm... well, I guess they would be royalty. This assumption is supported by the fact that they're accompanying Celestia for a recreational sort of event. It looks like a king and queen, so that makes sense too.

yeah i assumed they were but why would they design them so weird like that. I know it makes sense that ponies would look different depending on where they are from but it's a bit odd it's just these two :S
