general questions Post Number Differs When Blocking Someone?

For instance, when I keep a particular member on my block list, the post number differs when I send the post, but when I refresh the page, it matches the post intended. When I remove said member from my block list, it's no longer affected. I assume this may be a bug since the member that is blocked has posts hidden I opted in for, so it may cause interference with post count on my end. This is an issue I've found in the Count to a Million thread topic.

If needed: Count to a Million

The affected post:

The refreshed page post, matching the intended outcome:

The post # will calibrate based on myriad factors specific to the member viewing the thread. This is not a bug. :)

Don't use the post number to base your count on. Go based on the prior post and pray you avoid ninjas
