Arctofire 227 February 16, 2015 Share February 16, 2015 Okay, I wish to start a project which is making an english version for the Italian theme song of MLP. There are loads of songs which have just instrumentals on Youtube which cannot be found commercially, so they must have been extracted. I'm doing this project, so can somebody extract the instrumentals from that song and send it to me via PM. Thank You.

What happens when you see that is that the wavelengths are inverted so you can't hear vocals since they are effectively canceled out. They are technically still there though. That said, I'll be more than happy to provide an Italian Instrumental version for you if you would like. Won't be until tonight.
Admiral Regulus 2,769 February 16, 2015 Share February 16, 2015 (edited) Try this. In theory, you should be able to use Audacity to do this, which is free. I just tried it myself and it sorta works. It's not perfect... but no solution will be. Edited February 16, 2015 by Admiral Regulus 1 Tumblr
Jeric 46,876 February 16, 2015 Share February 16, 2015 @Arctofire, @Admiral Regulus posted the actual inversion process, and it really isn't hard to do on your own if you want to give it a go. I would add that any reverb vocals that exist will not be removed. Also, a step some people miss that can be worthwhile (depending on your final goal) is to create a second copy of the stereo track and do a low pass filter on it which helps to restore the low end elements that inversion may accidentally remove.
