I don't really know what to say in regards to the original, having never heard it, but I can say that this is solid on its own. The only thing I can think of is that there may be a few places where you sing slightly out of time, but it's not too out. That's the only gripe I have (and it's not really a gripe, just something small I sorta noticed.)
