Dear Newest Employee,

 

Welcome to Pinkie's Funland! Congratulations on your accepted employment as a 3rd Shift Security Guard. You are tasked with protecting all company assets from 12 AM to 6 AM. Your primary role is protection of company assets while we undergo this transition. Any tampering with any electronics will result in immediate loss of your position. You are required to arrive promptly at 12 AM or deductions will be made from that days shift. Promotions are available through hard work and dedication. Compensation will be 15 bits per hour with raises for dedicated employees. Thanks for your interest in Pinkie's Funland!

Dawn sighed as she walked through the doors of the pizzeria and looked around. "It's good money. I mean seriously, what could possibly happen in the span of a night in this place?" She thought to herself. The woman then made her way to the back office to take her position in the back office. She had heard a few rumors about children going missing, but she refuted those as an urban legend.

The rotary telephone suddenly rang as the dust that had collected was disturbed and sent into the air. The time on the clock was set at 11:59 PM. The Pinkie animatronic kept still as it's eyes followed the mare into the office. The eerie silence within the building could be felt as thick as a dense fog. The security station was on standby as a blinking red light noted the presence of security cameras which somehow still worked despite the ancient, run down feel of the place.

Dawn heard the telephone ring and felt a chill go down her spine. She looked around, but couldn't see anything aside from the animatronics. The alicorn then sat in the chair within the back office and let the phone ring. "This place is in pretty good condition considering how this place looked. She felt a calm dread settle in her stomach as she prepared for the long night.

The antiquated phone stopped ringing after a moment. It would be her mistake but that would mean she was unaware of the horrors that would await her soon enough. All was still in the main room for now, but not for long. The time read 12:00 AM. The general station had some wrappers and various other items of trash on the floor. The receptacle was knocked over from what looked like a brief struggle. It wasn't much but dried blood could be seen on the floor as well. As the time hit 12:00 AM, a sudden feeling of being watched could be felt.

- meanwhile -

The old stallion that had tried to warn the mare of the establishment. He knew she wouldn't make through the night without the warning he had. He went to review his other applications for another employee he knew he would need.

A shiver went do Dawn's spine and she quickly checked the security cameras via the computer. She then noticed the faint bloodstain on the ground and decided the it would be best if she had decided to listen to the message. "What in the name of Luna is going on in here?" She thought to herself as she switched to the camera next to the stage animatronics.

The security cameras blinked suddenly through some interference. The feed from the mainstage suddenly went dead that was viewing the three main animatronics. After a moment, the feed returned and the animatronics where still in their places on the main viewing area. The clock read 12 AM still as the night had just begun. You find a note on the ground with a piece of tape that had clearly lost it's adhesive. It said: 

 

Keep the music box in the prize corner wound up at all times!

Fortunatly, Dawn noticed the note and flicked to the room with the windup box. She noticed that she could rewind it via the computer and did that until the timer was at it's maximum, before switching back to the animatronics. "What have I gotten myself into." She thought to herself.

The power suddenly went out as she made that comment as the computer and the room suddenly went dark and a silent welcome could be heard in the silence. The animatronic called Pinkie suddenly had shifted from it's position from the stage to the party room floor. Looking directly at the camera.

Dawn yelped slightly at the animatronic looking at the screen. She wasn't expecting the robots to be able to move, but figured that this was simply normal. The mare then noticed that she had a head similar to that of an animatroinic. "That'll probably be useful later on." She thought to herself as she went back to looking at the screen.

Jellicous slowly trotted into the closed Pizzaria, after hours, hoping to get some free Pizza.

"Heh, they can't exactly stop me if noone is here..." he said glumly. He glanced at the dimly lit doorway, and walked through. "This is sort of creepy..." he spoke, with a scared tone in his voice.

As he trotted through the Pizzaria slowly, he noticed something. Somepony..

 

"Uuuhh, who's there?" No answer. He continued in his way to the Pizzaria.

 

"The show stage! I bet the kitchen is around here, just a corner aaannd-" He froze in his tracks. There was Fluttershy's animatronic, looking directly at him, standing infront of him. He screamed.

"AAAAH! I dont like this AT ALL." He edged back, and hit the wall. He was cornered by the Fluttershy animatronic. "AAAH! Somepony help!" He yelled, hoping for a reply.

Jellicous slowly spoke.

"If I die now, i have no regrets.. Pizza would've been worth it, I guess.."

He threw a scared glance at the animatronic, before galloping past her, skimming the brass metal  she was made out of.

"I gotta get outta' here! Fast" He quickly stated, before running down the dark hallway, toward the night guard office.
