Kyoshi Frost Wolf 41,499 March 31, 2015 Share March 31, 2015 Remember everyone, according to these people wanting to do this, it is the game that makes you violent. Parenting has no effect whatsoever. Apparently.
Kay Dreamer 884 March 31, 2015 Share March 31, 2015 Or, CRAZY THOUGHT: How about we teach kids the difference between video games and reality, and that while fantasy violence is acceptable, real violence is not. Seems a lot more useful in the long run than censorship ever proves to be. 1 The Crystal Minstrel Pony Tumblr Kay Dreamer's Roleplay OC and Cast Character Archive

MLG4Ever 876 March 31, 2015 Share March 31, 2015 If the kids (around my age or older) are becoming violent or doing sexual things because of these games then the school district should call there parents about the problems instead of threating to call the police about it because my school district does the same thing then it comes to problems like this but they make stupid Choices when it comes to education *Boops You Nose!*
Justin_Case001 4,889 March 31, 2015 Share March 31, 2015 See, what we all have to remember is that playing games with violence and/or sexual content will inevitably turn you into a psychopathic rapist and murderer. It's just a fact. (That was all sarcasm, btw.) I'm a big fan of GTA and God of War. Can't get much worse than that. I think GTA is the most hilarious thing ever made. A couple of years ago, I was witness to a pretty horrific car crash. A car went off the road into a creek, got really smashed up. Just the driver in the car, no one else. He was ok, but had a pretty bad gash on his forehead. The point is that I was pale, shaky, scared, and felt a bit nausiated when I saw the injury. I did not burst out laughing. Apparently GTA didn't turn me into psychopath after all. Who'd have thought? News flash--if you're a sane person, your brain knows the difference between reality and a f*cking game. GTA violence is funny. Real violence is scary. Violent games do not desensitize people and make them violent. In fact, a sheltered person like me who just plays a lot of games is often more sensitive to real violence. Hell, there was a lot more violence in the world during the friggin middle ages, and it wasn't caused by video games, I'll tell ya that right now. The point is that if a person has a violent nature, they're going to turn out that way regardless. Parents just need to raise kids properly. I'm not saying it's appropriate for kids of all ages to play GTA or GOW. Of course not. But this is ridiculous.
