This game takes place in an alternate universe in which during the Luna and Celestia battle, Luna managed to avoid being sent to the moon due to the darkness inside of her. Celestia casts a spell altering her form and she takes the name of Owluna, after the creatures of the night. You play as Vinyl Scratch, with help from a former Lunar guard by the name of Moonshine. Together you go on a quest to twart Owluna's plans and save Equestria.
